Our friends suggested eating here - now, when I see the word 'deli' I immediately think of glass case meat/cheese counter where they will make you up a sandwich to go. Not the case here! This is a full blown full service restaurant, with nice wood tables and comfy chairs decorated in country kitsch, and was dolled up for Christmas when we visited. The food came out FAST! The sandwiches, on fresh made buns/bread, were just right, my french dip was loaded with beef, lots of tots, I couldve used more au jus tho, it was so good. My pal said he loves the Hawaiian sandwich, I will try it if I get to come back. Wife mowed down her pastrami on beautiful marbled rye, she said her salad was good too. I disliked that her oil/vinegar dressing came in two wretched single use plastic cups - y'all know I'm trying to save the planet from plastic! Everything else was earth-friendly. Prices were reasonable. The table service was fantastic!!! Checked on us several times, water and coffee filled when needed. They do breakfast/dinner too, I'd recommend if youre looking for a casual meal in downtown Longview!

The food was ok. I had a cowboy burger with onion rings and my buddy had fish and chips. My burger was good, but the fish and chips was mostly chips with 2 pieces of small fried fish. He wasn't to happy. On a good note there sandwich's looked awesome. Maybe next time when we are in town. Service was great. Restaurant was spacious and clean.

I've been coming here for decades. It is, without doubt, the best lunch spot in the Longview/Kelso area. Staff are always friendly and personable, and the food is excellent! They have tons of seating; and room for larger parties if that's your jam. I'm not sure I could come up with a complaint even if I tried. 10/10.

Chicken noodle soup and turkey and Swiss (do buttery) mmm mmm mmm

Giles our waiter in the best! The food is the closest to home cooking as you can get! The bread is my favorite part!

Delightfully charming cow themed cafe; that serves delicious food served by friendly servers! We've been here twice and have thoroughly enjoyed both visits. The last time we were here my husband ordered a breakfast special which included epic homemade potato's, two eggs and bacon. I ordered the beer cheese soup but had ordering remorse staring at my husbands potatoes! Food is served piping hot, delivered quickly and is absolutely delicious! Prices are reasonable and the staff is wonderful. This restaurant is now one of our favorites! If you come here make certain to try the bread! Their homemade breads are fresh, delicious and satisfying!

It reminded me of two Italian spots in Seattle's Pioneer Square. Very popular since most of the onsite seating were occupied (6/20/25). No surprise after glancing at their menu, easily I could gravitate towards several of their sandwiches. Lots of merch and deli items are also available to select from. I ended up ordering a half pound of proscuitto (0.52 lb for $17.67). This was carefully sliced thin, packaged, and wrapped carefully, which was duly noted and greatly appreciated. We paused at window counter seats and had to sample the purchase before departing. Absolutely delicious! Helped elevate a meal the next day too. I may have to return to indulge in one of their Italian sandwiches. Update: we did return to dine onsite at the same window counter seats (6/22/25). The Homie had the Hot Meatball ($14). Meaty with zesty sauce. I had the Salami Panini ($12), which reminded me of a fave Italian panini at Irwin's Bakery & Cafe in Seattle. Both were fantastic, hit the spot, clean plate club worthy, and definitely no takeout boxes needed! Gaetano's Market & Deli, a terrific find in Astoria!

Because we were driving through on our road trip, we decided to make a stop here for a late lunch this last Tuesday afternoon, around 2:15 pm. After we parked, we walked inside and headed towards the salad bar/ hot bar food area. After looking around (there is also a counter that you can order made to order sandwiches and burritos), I ended up deciding to purchase the following: Peanut Chicken Sesame Noodle Salad, $8.99- This was quite a massive portion so I only ended up eating about 1/3 of it and then had the rest over the next few days (I ended up mixing it with some chopped cucumbers and tomatoes that I had to make a large salad). I loved the peanut sesame dressing and noodles in this salad but wished there was more chicken. Mayak Egg Noodle Bowl, $8.99- My husband picked this salad for himself but I didn't have any. He thought it was good and appreciated something fresh, as his bowl had shredded cabbage, like my salad, and cucumbers and shredded carrots. Pumpkin Pie, $6.99- My husband saw this small pumpkin pie and decided to get it because he is such a big fan of it. I actually don't like pumpkin as much as when I was much younger. But I did like this pie and thought the flavors were well balanced, not too overly sweet. ---------------------------------------- (Total= $24.97) I really appreciated that the little dining area (there is also an outdoor dining area as well but because it had rained previously, we opted to sit inside) had plastic bowls and plates available for you to put your food in. This was helpful for me to be able to thoroughly mix my noodle salad since the dressing was mostly on the bottom. Then after I mixed it, I just put it back in the plastic container and only left about 1/3 of the salad in my bowl to eat. If I lived in this area, I would definitely be a regularly of this market (specifically for the prepared food area).
