AMAZING!! I wasn't sure what to expect as we drove up (it was dark outside) and I couldn't tell if it was busy or not. As I walked inside, I was so impressed with the look and feel of the establishment. (See pic). There was a wall menu (see pic) with so many yummy selections. We decided to have the burger and fries (see pics). SO DELICIOUS and perfectly cooked. And to top off our meal, we had a shake and ice cream from the little ice cream bar. Yes! I've wanted to check this place out for so long. We stopped by for lunch Sunday, the lone customers until our food came out...at which point there were 2 other tables. They've got ample parking, the place is tidy and cool with interesting decor...apparent pride in ownership. Not the biggest dining room, but a decent size, with order at the counter/brought to your table style service. I actually saw a nice looking steak sandwich online I was craving, but unfortunately that item is gone from the menu now. They've got burgers, chicken, and pizzas, as well as Tillamook ice cream and shakes. We ordered a burger, chicken fingers, and a shake. The shake tasted fabulous, but it was very thin, maybe the thinnest I've ever had. Didn't stop us from sucking it down. The burger was good with a pretty large patty. Chicken was cooked perfectly, good size there too. All the food was serabsolutely piping hot. Everything tasted nice...certainly nothing gourmet...but we enjoyed our meal and left stuffed. The first time I stopped here and I was impressed with this business. I ordered two burgers to go. One burger with jalapeños. The other one without. I told them I had a food allergy to the peppers. They took extra attention to insure no cross contamination. The total time to receive both burgers with hot fries was less than 10 minutes. The cost was about $10 per burger. Stopped in the other day for the first time. Overall I'm shocked more people don't know about this place. Looking at the photos, it looks like they have expanded the menu. Place is extremely clean and staff was very friendly. I ordered a double angus burger with fresh cut fries. Very yummy. You can defiantly tell they use some premium beef. Although I didn't have anything to drink, they have a wide variety of adult beverages. The tables were cool and some convert into a chess board. They also have multiple TV's with games going in the background. Parking lot is huge and plenty of room for semi's to park and grab a bite. Highly disappointed. Overpriced, small portions though looking at the other pictures looks like you get a lot. Maybe we went on a bad night?? Cause the portions seemed cut in half, the chowder was runny and no clams in It at all and the shrimp tasted off and the service was little to none. We left feeling sick. It's no fun leaving a negative review. We actually checked the reviews before we ate there, so we were surprised and disappointed. It's such a lovely looking restaurant but it wasn't a good experience for us. It's very clean. I wish I had taken a picture of the food when we got it so the owner could see. Outpost Convenience Store and Eatery is really nice. I attended a soft opening trial day at the store and I can say the food is really good. The menu is short with real Chicago style basics. All beef Chicago Style Hotdog, premium style beef Philly sandwiches. They definitely don't skimp on the amount of beef on the sandwiches. They also have other menu items which include biscuits and gravy, soups, chicken fillet sandwich, and fries. In addition to the Eatery there are convenience store items, drinks, coffee and coming soon lottery. The full opening of the store will be mid May 2018. read more

Longview, EAT HERE. My wife and I had 2 very good cheeseburgers and fries, one order of cheese sticks and two drinks for $25. That is a crazy great low price for good food. This meal would seriously cost us $40 anywhere else. This place is a little bit out of town but very much worth the drive. The staff is friendly and the food came out quick, and it was really good. It was REALLY nice when we we walked In, they had a bunch of signs on the walls. Finally made it in, and we were duly impressed. The interior is gorgeous, and clean. They have a really nice outdoor seating area. And the food was so good! They have a somewhat limited menu but don't let that deter you - what they have is delicious! The hand cut fries and clam chowder make it worth the drive to come here alone. You can also purchase beer and cider, plus they have a soda fountain and convenience store type snacks. This little gem will definitely become one of the places we frequent for lunch on the weekends! We got cheesy fries, cheesy dog, and provolone beef sandwich. The dog has fries on top which my wife liked since she does that on her own and it tasted great. The roll for the provolone sandwich was excellent as was the beef inside. Our only problem which they were very willing to fix was too much salt on the fries. Another thing I really liked was paper towels as napkins. I always appreciate a place that gives sturdy napkins. The place is very clean and new. Years ago it was a topless bar but had been vacant for some time. We were glad to see it turned into a nice little pit stop and we'll be stopping again to try more. read more

Well after reading all of the glowing reviews we decided to give this place a try, we were in the mood for a burger so it seem like a good idea. The place is nothing special as far as decor but it seems clean which is important. The lady that took our order was pleasant and quick, a nice start, the seating is a little strange but ok. The menu is very limited so it was good we were there for a burger. They serve the food in take out containers which is understandable if not too attractive but not a serious issue. The food is what counts isn't it? So, the burger was served quickly and it was hot, another good sign. It is the first burger joint I've ever been to that did not have tomatoes for their burger which strikes me as pretty strange however that's there thing. Now for the rest of it, the burger was just ok, not much flavor and not at all juicy, my guess is they use frozen patties. The fries were nice and hot good size and portion but not fully cooked through so a disappointment. The place is about the same as your normal drive through fast food place, Macs or BK just a bit more expensive. A couple of miles north you have the Cornerstone that has a very good burger and a couple of miles south is Goble Tavern which make a solid burger so there are options in the area. We will give it another try some other time and see what else they have. read more
