What a phenomenal sandwich today - The Grizz - We can't wait to try everything on the menu. How often do you say that about a restaurant? This business is dialed in with top notch service and selection. Everything is fresh and carefully packaged. Thank you, Broke Chicks! See you again soon!

First time in here and I will be coming back. I came in around 11:15 and was kindly greeted. I ordered a blt on ciabatta and it is delicious. The bread is so soft and firm. Bacon is cooked great. The waiting area is cute as well and had some good smelling candles, they weren't lit but very fragrant.

I'm very happy this place opened up. French dip- loaded with beef & cheese of your liking. I asked for havarti and it was a perfect balance. The Au Jus wasn't too salty, full of flavor. Potato salad- clearly home made. I like how they leave the potato skins still on some potato's. Full of flavor, but for me... a little too salty. It's just personal preference, but, it was delicious. Service- very clean inside and out. Kitchen area is wide open so you can watch the ladies cook your food. They're very on-top of being sanitary which I liked. I walked in, ordered, and received my food in less than 10 minutes. They were very busy as well. Both ladies were very nice. $17 and some change for both items. Not too bad.

Not sure how this place is sitting at 4.7 stars because, in my opinion, this is a 5-star…read moreestablishment in every sense of the word. And I'm a tough critic. As a flight attendant and an unapologetic foodie, I've eaten my way through cities all over the world. You learn pretty quickly when a restaurant is simply serving food versus when it's serving something made with genuine care. This place falls firmly into the second category. The customer service? Just the sweet Rainier cherry on top of an already incredible experience (and yes... go look at their bakery case while you're there). Jocelyn was phenomenal. I asked how this little slice of heaven came to be, and she happily shared the story behind it. One owner spent years as an executive chef at a casino, while the other built a career as a professional baker in Aberdeen. Boy, does that expertise show. I ordered the fried chicken and waffles. A little context: I mostly eat pescatarian these days, so when I do splurge on chicken, my expectations are sky high. I've built it up in my head as one of the foods I miss most (right alongside a good ribeye), and it's almost always disappointing. Not this time. This chicken is absolutely ridiculous. They debone a chicken thigh and fry it into the crispiest, juiciest piece of fried chicken I've had in a long time. It's made with a gluten-free batter, which means more people get to enjoy it. And before anyone assumes "gluten-free" means sacrificing flavor... think again. Plenty of great chefs will tell you the best fried coatings come from starches like potato or cornstarch anyway. What really made this meal special, though, was that my partner is vegan. If you've ever dined out with someone who's vegan while you aren't, you know how rare it is for both people to walk away feeling like they had an equally great meal. It almost never happens. Here, it did. She ordered the vegan Indian tacos with corn tortillas, and they looked incredible. She was excited to try the fry bread, and instead of simply serving it, the staff thoughtfully explained it wasn't vegan and helped her choose an alternative. That's the kind of attention to detail you don't forget. Our service was perfectly paced. If you're looking for food in five minutes, there are plenty of places where "cooking" means microwaving something that arrived frozen. This isn't one of those places. Everything tastes intentional, and that takes time. Our food still arrived in under 20 minutes, maybe even less. Slow down, talk to the people you're with, and enjoy the experience. Great food isn't supposed to feel rushed. We stumbled across this gem on our drive home from Ocean Shores, and I'm so glad we did. I only wish it were closer to home because we'd become regulars in a heartbeat. I can't recommend this place enough.

The food is amazing, the service is great, people are nice and hit the vending machine before you leave. There are a number of great dishes but the French toast is a clear winner. I'm telling you. This is not your ordinary local pub…read more Gastronomically, Gorgeous. I could only decide (because there were ingenious choices) when our bar server, Hannah, suggested "Sweet Heat." Listed under "Pinsa Flat Bread" it came out 12"x6" thick bread perfectly browned in oven with gooey garlic/mozzarella but, wait, caramelized onions, thick-diced grilled chicken that tasted like bacon. Every two or three inches, one pickled jalapeño perfectly placed for heat that didn't burn, and over it all, drizzled HOT HONEY!!! My mouth was ecstatic. Pretty soon I couldn't wait to cut with my fork and knife to have my third and fourth triangled piece. Sitting, leaning over the high long bar, I just held the sticky, sweet cheesy spicy bread with all ten fingers tipping my head to catch the drips. Passion Orange Guava Cider washed it all down. I made a trip to the restroom and wash my hands then stopped at the kitchen window to rave about the menu with Clayton, the cook. This was all on a summer Monday night in June, low west sun shining into the cozy wood space, baseball silenced on the three screens, fun, toe-tapping music the whole two hours we stayed. The Gibbons couple have scored the times with their courage to do local, unusual creative food with a dialed-back vintage vibe.

Meant to take pictures, but I ate it all too fast!…read more Very friendly service and a nice concrete oasis out back. Looks clean dive in front and rather pretty out back; perfect vibe for the location. The spicy bacon bloody marys are fantastic, could only really be improved by adding a pepperoncini to the toothpick for a palette cleanse. The beer battered fries were dope, but the "add garlic" feature would be better if the garlic was quickly sautéed in oil and then tossed with the fries to spread the glory evenly. I thought the burger had some great flavors, but the patty was a touch overcooked, and the mushrooms and swiss cheese were a bit anemic. Overall, I'd highly recommend this spot and with a few tweaks there'd be a fifth star. I plan to return next time I'm in the area!
