This is a great reincarnation of a local favorite. We were here pre-COVID, and had an okay dinner experience. Good food, friendly people and service. Since then there was a fire in the restaurant, and the interior was gutted and remodeled on the existing plan. There were NO recent reviews, and the menu and food pictures are very old. Wanting to support our local business, we stopped on the way back from Portland. My wife had the meatloaf dinner and I had the liver and onions dinner. Both came with salad, vegetable and choice of potato. Both were good. My liver wasn't tough, and the grilled onions were thinly sliced and excellent. My wife's meatloaf is better (had to say it) but she liked her meal. We hope these people succeed, and wish them all the best.

Nice to come back home and visit, also nice to see Peper's 49's restaurant making it through Covid and thriving. I swear they have been there for 40 years! Ordered the chicken fried steak and had forgotten how big and how good it was, huge portion. Everyone is so home town friendly, although nobody seems to move too fast, yet the food get's to the table fast. The restaurant is the original Cracker Barrel but way better! You gotta try it if you haven't yet! Plus it always good to support local business's.

Chicken fried steak. Yes this is from one order.

This is your traditional American diner serving gigantic plates of home cooked taste. Solid place to stop for lunch after a camping or hiking trip.

Do not let those comments and the low star rating discourage you from trying Jeremy's. Our experience was wonderful. Not sure if we ever met the manager, but the wait staff was great! It is a large, clean restaurant with plenty of seating. This would be a great place to have a large gathering. The bathrooms were also very clean. Both of those factors are signs of a promising dining experience, imho! I ordered the bacon ranch chicken burger with fries, ranch and honey mustard on the side. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger with onions rings and a cup of their soup of the day: Tuscan Italian Sausage soup. We also got the cheese curds for an appetizer. The curds were yummy. Crisp, light, chewy with a side of garlic aioli. the flavor combo was delish! My only complaint was the portion size. For $15.00 appetizer, i was hoping it would have been larger...or possibly keep the same portion size but lower the price point. Other than that, we did enjoy them. The soup was delicious, too! It was thick and creamy with large chunks of potato and sausage. It had a nice spicy kick to it. My husband enjoyed it very much. Our sandwiches came out hot, and again: delicious! Good portions, too. The onion rings were really unique. Large, thick slices of onion and a unique breading. Not your typical beer batter, but a lighter coating that tasted like it could have been cornmeal based? They were good! My fries weren't bad, either. They weren't heavy and greasy, like a lot of fries. I liked that. The burger was cooked medium as requested by my husband. My chicken burger was a delicious grilled chicken breast...a real breast and not some gross pressed chicken patty. The ranch and honey mustard were both house made. Sooooo good. The ranch was really dilly and I loved that! Did Jeremy's pass the test? Absolutely! When my husband announced "I'd eat here again", I knew we made a good restaurant choice! I agree. We will eat there again! **They also offer a 10% discount on senior, military and first responder meals. THAT was cool! Two thumbs up for Jeremy's!

We had a big craving for pizza all day long and were in the Castle Rock area, and found The Oasis ... and boy are we glad we did. We ordered two 14" inch pizzas - one sausage and one just cheese. They were delicious! They were straight out the Midwest style of pizza - crispy, crimped crust ... ingredients under the cheese ... and the cheese itself golden browned. Perfect! We loved it and the boys loved it. The Oasis for the Win! We also ordered a side of Mini Corn Dogs and they were good too. Nice flavor of dog with tasty breading. They've got about 20+ beers on tap, so the adults stayed happy. :-) We had the African Amber and the Scottish Red. They were both great. Nice and chill spot with a huge menu. Kid friendly in the restaurant area! We ordered the crispy onion chicken sandwich, chicken bacon ranch wrap, the pulled pork sandwich, and mandarin ginger chicken rice bowl. The chicken sandwich had a little bit of buffalo sauce and we agreed it was super good! 4.8/5! The chicken bacon ranch wrap was pretty good, not the best I've ever had but still a solid wrap! Lots of food and was able to take half of it home. 3.5/5. The pulled pork was pretty solid, 4/5. The least favorite was the rice bowl, not bad but also wasn't all that great, 2.5/5. We tried the huckleberry and raspberry lemonades. Both were decent but nothing to write home about. If I had to guess I would say it was Minute Maid lemonade with bar syrups. 3.5/5 Overall, definitely a sold spot for classic bar food! The people were nice and there was a decent amount of seating with lots of tables for more than 4 people. The menu was huge so I would be interested in stopping by again to try something else out!

Rambling Jacks Rib Eye - Our Always-Stop Spot on the Way to Seattle…read more We stopped in for a late breakfast on our drive to Seattle and, as usual, it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and I went with the Ranch Hand scramble. We split both (highly recommend doing this if you can't decide), and the portions were so generous that more than half of my scramble came home with us. What's impressive is that with portions this big, you'd expect something to give on quality -- but not here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is part of what keeps us coming back. The restaurant has that cozy, rustic charm and there's a cute little gift shop up front that's impossible to walk past without browsing. This time we grabbed some Valentine's white chocolates to take on the road -- such a fun touch. This has become one of our must-stop traditions to and from Seattle, and it's consistently worth it every single time.
