A friend mentioned this place was pretty good when we were heading South. A few days later when heading North, we happened to be hungry when the exit for it came up. Walked in and the ordering area is a tight, people coming/going/ordering all get caught up with each other. A little uncomfortable, but not a huge issue. It's like a Tardis. Looks small from the outside, but has lots of space inside. And seating outside as well. The menu is quite extensive, but they had white board signs saying something about what everybody usually gets. The ladies taking our orders were super nice, and friendly. Overall, the restaurant felt slightly overpriced, and the extra charge for a card is always frustrating. $19 for a cheeseburger, fries and a soda. Plus the clear indicator a tip is expected at the end of the transaction. I believe it was about $23 for my meal. The burger was excellent, loaded with some great toppings. The patty was juicy and big. A great bun to top it all off. Their crinkle fries were fluffy and good. Not salted, I could have added some on my own. I definitely will go back. I love this place so much! Since it's right off I-5 between Seattle and Portland I don't come here much, but it never disappoints. It looks small from the outside but on the inside it's much bigger. Great food (burgers, fries, etc) and REALLY good shakes! There are lots of fun souvenirs inside and lots of seating as well. When I was here this afternoon, there was a sign on the door advertising that the restaurant is for sale. I may not be a regular customer, but this worries me a little. I hope it doesn't go out of business. I hope it stays around for a long time. It would make me sad to drive to or from Portland and not see the blue and white sign, inviting me in. *It's easy to find, off of I-5 going north, next to a huge Shell sign. *The price is slightly higher if you use a credit card, so I was glad that I had cash. read more

This is our go to spot when traveling I-5, north or southbound. It is easy to access either direction and is located next to a Shell gas station. We always call in our order to give them at least 20 minutes.  We love their burgers- the Mushroom burger and Bacon Cheeseburger deluxe(with tomato,  lettuce, and onion). We also order Chicken Fried Steak with a full order of Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast the next day. It is a DELICIOUS and generous portion.  They have indoor seating and a drive thru lane.  Mrs. Beesley's is a great spot to break your drive on I-5. Even if you're not in the mood for a burger,  they whip up tasty milkshakes. read more

The order takers were friendly and the place is pretty cute. They've got a wide variety of arts and crafts for sale all over the restaurant. Definitely a cute local place. Too bad the food was subpar. The "homemade" burgers didn't seem that way and were very poor overall. The side salad was limp and bland. The corn dog was ok. The only memorable part was the drinks. Worse customer service I had in a long time! Ordered 3 burgers, basket a fries and 2 drinks, waited 30 minutes, once we got our food and left I realized they did not give us the fries I ordered. I went back in to tell them and they proceeded to tell me they did not hear me when I ordered that and it's loud back there. (which it wasn't at the ordering window) that they can get me a small basket of fries if I whip out my card and pay for them even though it was their mistake for not reading back my order and not hearing me correctly. Their tone of voices were rude and non caring. I paid $37 dollars for 3 burgers and 2 12oz sodas. A nice change from standard fast food fare, even if it's not particularly glamorous. But who's looking for avant-garde cuisine next to a freeway off-ramp? Overall, Mrs. Beesley's is a fantastic dive for road-weary travelers, from families to long-haul truckers. Very easy to get to off the freeway! I needed some fuel for my drive. I had heard that they served good Burgers m, but when I saw they did A BLT, I had to try it! I got a BLT with no T add C= Cheese! Then a side of tat-or tots with ranch for dipping! It didn't take long for my order as they weren't busy! My food was fresh and hot! Tots were cooked perfectly and the ranch tasty! I have stopped at Mrs. Beezley's many times on my trips to Seattle from Portland. It is too difficult to go here when heading south, so it is always a treat to look forward to when I am going on. The restaurant has been here for many years, and the quality remains excellent. The burgers are always bountiful, but more important, they have tons of flavor. DO NOT EAT HERE - OVERPRICED AND DISGUSTING FOOD On top of the incredibly rude service, the food was just awful. I've eaten bad burgers. I'm a rather trash person sometimes, but this place was even too trash for me. They got my friend and I's orders wrong and it was $15 and I didn't even get a drink. They also charge $1 for cheese - are you kidding me?? A place like this in the middle of nowhere next to a gas station, you don't exactly expect a 5 star restaurant, but this place is so bad the food should be given away for free under the gas station, out of sight from any decent civilized person. If you value your money and a decent meal, stay FAR away from here. Never coming back and I will tell everyone I know about this horrible experience. We stopped at Mrs. Beesley's Burgers driving south on I-5 from Tacoma, WA. I ordered the veggie burger, while the men I was with ordered chicken fried steak and a hamburger. Know that when you order a burger, you'll need to order fries separately, as the burgers don't come with fries. We all enjoyed our much-needed meals, and being the graphic design nerd I am, I appreciated the vintage "Beesley's" and "EAT" typefaces used on the outside of their building. :) read more

Just stopped on the way back from Seattle to give this place another chance and now we wished we hadn't. I ordered the cheeseburger special with fries and a drink and asked for just lettuce and sauce only but when the burger came it had everything on it but no sauce. I took the burger back to the window and explained nicely that I had asked for only lettuce and sauce and the gal said she wrote it down wrong and that she would fix it for me. I waited a bit thinking they were re-making the burger. Boy was I wrong - all they did was scrape all the toppings off and slap a cold piece of cheese onto the now cold burger. The burger itself was way over cooked and the bun was a hard as a rock. The fries were overcooked as well. My husband's onion rings were also fried to a crisp and his burger was so well done, it was inedible. Close to $50 with tip means we will NEVER stop here again. So much for a second chance Mrs. Beesley's. Too bad too because this used to be a great place to stop on the way to and from Seattle. It has really gone downhill. read more
