Love the food and the service, but its super frustrating that the hours online are wrong, and they close randomly even within their new hours posted at the drive thru. And you cant call ahead to make sure they are open because they either dont pick up, or you end up sitting on hold until the line disconnects. Again, I love Big Ts, the food is some of the best bbq around! But these things make choosing Big Ts hard. Especially when we live a 20 minute drive away and there is never any way of knowing if they are actually open. read more

A decent phone system would make a world of difference when it comes to answering basic questions about the business, its hours, and generating business. You are missing business by not picking up the phone .I find it hard to believe that you are at max capacity and have so much. Business that you can ignore the phone calls. read more

A year after living around the corner we finally made it here. We were confused at first on how to order but once we figured it out I ordered a pull pork sandwich and he got the Philly cheese steak. We took a bite of each others. The Philly was much more flavorful and he was happy. The pulled pork was good, but a bit dry. A lot of people have said it was the best they have ever had but for me not the case. We ate there at the picnic tables and watched the gas station and looked at the cigarette butts in the grass. Great first time experience! We didn't realize it was just a drive thru, but irregardless great little restaurant. The gal that took our order was very pleasant. I was a little overwhelmed with the burger choices - so many to choose from (not complaining ). We ended up getting the smash burger combo meal and a pound of brisket. The burger was literally the biggest burger I've seen. You can definitely share this one. The flavor combo was unreal and nothing short of incredible. It hit the spot! Fries were alright, nothing to get excited about. The brisket came shredded with a delicious bbq sauce drizzled on it. We were assuming it would have came in slabs but once again not complaining that it was shredded. Great smoke flavor! You definitely get your moneys worth here. I can't believe we have been in the area for a year and have yet to try this place out. We've clearly been missing out. We plan on coming back to try the ribs out soon! Great if you have extra time..... We stopped in here for lunch and although there was only one car in front of us, it took over 20 minutes to get our food. The food was worth the wait imo. I had the wrangler burger which was cooked to perfection. The bbq sauce was one of the best sauces I have had. Fries were delicious as was the fry sauce. They serve cans of pop instead of iced fountain drinks. The meal was very good but service was too slow for this to be more than an occasional stop. I think there was just one person working tbh. OH MY! Go here! We had our cheat day and stopped here on our way to Pacific County from Tacoma. Ordered the clam basket, bacon cheeseburger, smoked meatloaf sandwich, coleslaw, onion rings, and fries. ALL we delicious. You can smell the smoke from the smoker used to cook the meatloaf. Oh my, Oh my! What a wonderfully full belly we have! The family and I had a huge hankering for a big 'ol juicy burger the other day and we thought of Big T's. We had driven by it a number of times, but hadn't made it there yet. I can say, we are certainly glad we made it this time and will most definitely be back! They have a very large menu of deliciously sounding faire, and I've read many great reviews about their BBQ ... but this time was all about the burgers. That's what our body was wanting, so that's what we gave it! I had the Triple Cheeseburger, my wife had the Double Chesseburger, and our son had the Singer Burger. They were amazing! Thick and juicy patties, cheese, fresh ingredients and toppings (loving the goop!), and a tasty bun. As for sides, we went with a large order of Fries and a larger order of Onion Rings. Both tasty completely hand made (as in hand-cut fries) and were great! Topped off with a couple of Cokes and we were set. Like I said above, we'll be back again for more -- looking forward to digging into the BBQ - ribs, brisket, and more! read more

Food wasn't very good dry and burnt brisket and pork. The meat loaf was ok. I got the sampler plate. Everything on the plate was under seasoned and all tasted the same. I couldn't tell if I was eating the brisket or the pork. Would not repeat. Up side the people working where very nice. read more

Weird spot. Had high hopes that were dashed from the start. I pull up to the order window and they tell me that they're making an order for 25 people and they'll be right with me. 10 minutes later they took my order and I drove around to the pickup window and it took another 15 minutes. Fair enough. The weird part is I had ordered a half slab of baby back ribs and I saw the dude putting them on the flat top and putting water on them and then sauce and I thought it was very strange. I'm somewhat of a pitmaster myself and had never seen barbecue prepared this way. Although the pork was meaty it did not taste much of anything resembling smoke or barbecue. It was as almost as if they were pork chops that had been cut up. Definitely good value for the money and good portion size but frankly I'm not sure if this place could be called barbecue. read more

Please adopt me!!! Because for someone whose not a huge fan of BBQ Ribs we've had Big T BBQ 4 times in the past 3 months since we moved to Centralia and the BBQ ribs are my favorite. Chefs kiss and A+++++ and not only the food is good but the owners are so kind, very generous and inviting. This is definitely a local spot and I'm honored to live 2 blocks away. I'll be back for more bbq :) and omg the pulled chicken (please help me stop drooling while writing this review) the chicken is so juicy and perfect with kings Hawaiian rolls with more bbq sauce! On my drive from Portland to Seattle I had a craving for some BBQ and found Big T on Yelp. Hey, why not give it a try? It's a small business on the North east side of Centralia and a little off the beaten path but worth checking out. Portion size for the meat sampler was generous and I ate the meats as served although they have several sauces you can help yourself to for that extra flavor. Service was also friendly which is a plus. My only concern that depicted my 3 star rating is that I dined in and unfortunately there were numerous flies buzzing around which really makes the dining experience less than stellar. I'd recommend they get a fly fan installed at doorway if this is a ongoing issue as it was simply annoying. Will I check them out again? Probably will if BBQ is what I'm wanting while passing through. read more

We found Big T BBQ when visiting at the Great Wolf Lodge several years ago. We were more than pleasantly surprised at how excellent their smoked cheesesteaks were! I am from Pennsylvania where we claim we have the best cheesesteaks. Until we found Big T BBQ this was our view. They are so much better!! We make a point of stopping to stock up and then freeze them when we are near Centralia so that we have them on hand for periodic meals.
