Omelette was perfect!
Todd D.

This place has an awesome breakfast! My wife and I had some time to kill on a beautiful Sunday morning while attending an AAU basketball tournament at the Hub in Centralia. This place is downtown only a few miles away. We split an omelette with hash browns, a biscuit and fruit bowl. The portions are big and perfectly cooked. The homemade berry jam is awesome and we took a few small containers home. Also, the biscuit was perfect and the coffee was fresh. We got our food quick, reasonably priced, and friendly service. You should try this!

turkey dinner. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy with slice of homemade honey nut bread. enough for 2 meals.

Black berry pie with ice cream

We shared a Rueben sandwich will fries. The portion for one order was more than enough to share. We also shared a piece of blackberry pie. Again probably could have shared with 3 people. The wait staff was helpful from the moment we came in. Or waitresses was more than helpful and even went down stairs some where to check the ingredients in their cream cheese used in their yummy looking cheesecake. Sadly it did have zanthum gum. (Sis has a sensitivity to it.) the cafe style place was cute and very welcoming. They even sent us on our way with a bit of icecream and whip for the pup waiting for us in the car. ( no worries the window was cracked and the temps were not 50 and it was raining.) this made for a happy pup. Making the term doggie bag right on target. We'll definitely cone again.

The Northwestern sandwich and Salad. The portion was huge!!

This was the best sandwich I've ever had in a restaurant. The turkey was fresh and the vegetables crisp. Super huge portions too. Also, their salad is fresh cut and with little tasty cranberries. If you're ever in Centralia, this is a must go to your place for lunch!

5. Shrimp Croissant Sandwich

Came here with some friends on whim bc we were in the area and were looking to grab some brunch. Came in around 12PM, plenty of open tables and we were able to seat ourselves. It was a cute little barn/farm style cafe, felt very cozy and since the restaurant itself is very large, it didn't feel overwhelming packed or short of space, considering it was also pretty busy around the time we came. My friends and I were hoping to get some breakfast foods but unfortunately they stop serving breakfast at 11, totally normal! Probably the only thing that would make this place better than it already is, all day breakfast. The portions are hearty and food came out all at the same time and within 15 mins of ordering. I shared a reuben with my friend and it was delicious, generous portion of meat. Also had a bite of the shrimp croissant and the ultimate panini which were also nothing short of stuffed! Definitely a place worth checking out. Will be revisiting again hopefully for breakfast next time!

Cinnamon Roll French Toast? Or what?

On 10/27/2025 my family and I came to this place because it was highly recommended. I ordered their Cinnamon Roll French toast, which later I saw was nothing like the pictures. The plate came with what looked like a cinnamon roll on top of one French toast, both of them slightly burnt, and on top of the cinnamon roll, and maybe to cover the burnt stuff, was some gooey substance that looked like slightly chunky, dark, raw batter. It had that consistency. I have no idea what it was. I went online to check on pictures and it's supposed to have cream cheese icing or powdered sugar, this was not cream cheese icing or powdered sugar. I don't know what in the world it was?

Lemon, sour cream pie (crust underbaked and wet on the bottom this visit)

This is our go to place when in the area, also a good halfway meetup place when for our family that lives in both the Vancouver area abs Pierce County. This time we decided to meet for girls lunch for a birthday. Most of the guests it was their 1st time. There was 6 of us. We had to push some tables together to fit all of us. Rather dimly lit so we opted to move closer to a window. Lots of seating just not for large parties, but tables can be pushed together. The menu has many choices. Somehow I always stick with what I like. Which is the Turkey pesto panini or the patty melt. Portions are big! Of course always save room for dessert. One of my favorites is the lemon sour cream pie. Sadly not this visit. Lemon sour cream slices were in the dessert case on individual plates. I knew that was a sign, but I still ordered anyway. The bottom of the crust ended up being wet and also somewhat undercooked based on the edge of crust. I mentioned that to server. Hoping maybe there was a fresh pie available and her reply was "oh sorry about that" not the reply I was looking for. Either offer a fresh slice or take it off my bill. Other than overall good experience with food and atmosphere. I'll share in pics what was ordered. Oh the birthday gal got marionberry cobbler on the house. Side note the Marionberry shake was delicious!

Homemade Cinnamon Roll French Toast with scrambled eggs and bacon

Big portions, delicious flavors, nice decor, and nice staff. I enjoyed the cinnamon roll French French toast which came with eggs and meat. It was both filling and yummy (added some marionberry syrup). My friend had the half order of chicken fried steak which was quite filling with hash browns and a homemade biscuit. Nice big parking lot, only complaint was men's bathroom stall door wouldn't shut.

Blackberry pie !!!

One of the best uses of yelp is when we're traveling. This place was an absolute gem. Be careful. The sandwiches are massive. My wife and I split a sandwich and then I had this amazing dessert. Certainly worth getting off the interstate for five minutes.

Try the Milkshake, it is the best.

Food and service was excellent. Their pies taste as good as grandma's. Don't pass them up.

I was craving something healthy and different than the normal breakfast option!…read moreThey had great menu choices for breakfast, and able to provide eggs, ground beef and avocado with a small fruit cup. Everything was great. Good service, atmosphere, and quality. Even the fruit cup had good choices in it!! Definitely coming back again!

Corner Café is now open for dinner and we are SO happy about it!…read more You get the warmest, friendliest welcome the second you walk in. It's casual, cozy, and just has that small-town charm where you instantly feel comfortable. Our coffee and waters were always filled right on time (which I love). And let's talk about the prices... better than anywhere else in town! We usually split a meal, but this time we didn't have to -- we both got our own. I had the homemade pot roast and wow... melt-in-your-mouth delicious. So much flavor, creamy mashed potatoes, perfectly cooked carrots, and a roll. It's a special through tomorrow night so don't miss out! Total delicious, comfort food. Hubby had the French Dip and didn't leave a single bite. He barely let me have a bite to try it out. Then the mocha cream pie... and yes, I took a bite before getting a picture because it was THAT tempting. No regrets so no judgement on the picture. One of our favorite things about Corner Café is Sherri. She always comes over to say hi, remembers us and our past conversations, and truly makes us feel like family in her home. That kind of love and service is rare. We're posting pics of the food and the new dinner menu -- go try it. You'll be glad you did!

NorthWest Salmon Smokehouse - Baked potato with pulled pork and cheese

NorthWest Salmon Smokehouse

So glad we discovered this cute destination restaurant and market! First off was amazing customer…read moreservice, a great variety menu of smoked meats, plates, sandwiches, loaded potatoes and salmon (of course;). The smoker is onsite and all ingredients sourced from local farm or markets in the area. The owner Frank was very friendly gave some great suggestions even checked on us with drink refills. Such great service so rare anymore. We had the most amazing 3 cheese mac and cheese with Brisket the small was big enough! I'm so glad I up'd my salmon kiesh meal to also include the side of the salmon chowder. It was definitely the best chowder I've ever had, complete with flaked smoked salmon on top of a creamy and hearty salmon w/ potato soup. We were so full after our meal I would not normally order dessert. However, he did recommend that we may want to try his wifes amazing homemade carrot cake with the cream cheese icing (which I prefer over an overly sugary one) I am so glad we ordered a slice to go. I ended up having that for breakfast the next morning with coffee and it was out of this world so moist with crunchy nuts on the cream cheese icing. Yum! The cafe is located in downtown Chehalis, which is a cute town. They are completing updates to their 100yr old building. They have an upstairs loft with video games and a dozen tables connected to an artesian market downstairs, think gourmet foods, mead, craft items, fancy bloody mary mix, and they also sell smoked salmon, smoked cheeses in their cooler. I will definitely be back when heading thru Chehalis. What a find!

Listen if live near or around Chehalis, or Centralia you need to get ur *%# into The Smokehouse!…read moreHands down some amazing food! Brisket is next level! Mac an Cheese, stellar!
