The French toast is some of the best I've ever had, including fancy restaurants. This is going to be one of our favorite places to stop on road trips! Unfortunately, they have succumbed to shrinkflation like everywhere else, but a little more pronounced than other places. I got three meals and two sides(potatoes and 4 sausage links that were also $4). The potatoes were no more than 3 ounces for $4(insane, didn't even look like a full potato) and this meal(pictured) was $13 as were the other two meals, this 100% is not worth that price, maybe half the price for quantity. Service animals are not welcome here. The food is awesome and most of the staff is friendly. I have been here 3 times, always with my medically necessary mobility service dog, and never had any issues with anyone or anything. My service dog has always been well behaved. When I went in this morning, I was helped by the cook because the female server was not available. Once I tried to sit down I was informed that "since you have a dog you have to sit outside ", I asked "even with a service dog" and she told me rudely that it didn't matter I would have to stay outside. I enjoyed the taco salad - it was probably the best taco salad I've ever had! A full plate of great quality lettuce topped with thick shredded cheddar cheese, lean ground beef , black beans, olives, green onions and on the side- sour cream, salsa and real guacamole. No it has like a guacamole on it, chopped lettuce, slices tomato, and big thick slices of onion. That's it. The only flavor was onion. You could treat nothing else because of the thickness of them. Glad we found this spot on our way back from Mt. Rainier! Cute spot with delicious sandwiches and coffee. The white and wheat bread is made in house and was perfectly toasted on the guacamole turkey sandwich we ordered. The caesar salad was also delicious. I found this delightful little gem on my way up to visit a friend a few hours away. I decided to take the scenic backroads and eventually decided I needed two things 1) to pee and 2) coffee. I stumbled upon this little sleepy town that is honestly so charming and this coffee shop which drive thru line was down the road! That must be a good sign! I went in and was very happy they had a bathroom I could use and a large menu of items I could order. The sandwiches sounded so good but I only grabbed a coffee this time around. It was very tasty! We were hungry after seeing the tulip field up the street and this place looked cute and new so we stopped in for lunch with my husband and toddler. It's a tiny little cafe but very clean, with a bathroom and a simple menu that's great for the whole family. We got a grilled cheese for my son on sunflower bread. The sunflower bread is DELICIOUS and so soft. Also ordered a chicken Caesar salad wrap and a Cuban sandwich which both came with the corn chowder. Everything was good and decent portions.
