I was curious about this spot as the reviews were positive and the food looks really good and generous. My boyfriend told me that anytime he passes by that the parking lot is always filled, and even when we were coming in, the parking lot was full and there were definitely some interesting parking choices made by others. We were able to get parking and as we entered we were greeted warmly by staff. Luckily, there was a small table for us so we were seated right away with menus. The staff here are on point with checking in at the perfect times and they always do a sweep for coffee and water refills, to see if anyone needs anything or anything else. They are also so friendly and seem to know their regulars well too. The bathroom is well-maintained and even has a changing station. I got the strawberry lemonade and the biscuits and gravy combo that comes with eggs, hash browns, and ham while my boyfriend got the chicken club sandwich. The drink arrived immediately and not even after a few minutes did our food arrive. The pictures and reviews did not lie, the portions were huge and the food tasted great especially for the price. You do pay at the front once they drop off the tab. I do also appreciate that they sell some local goods from honey, sauces, jewelry and other neat things. This place deserves the glowing reviews and more. read more

Judy's was a great find during our stay at Great Wolf Lodge. The breakfast was excellent, the service was fast and friendly, and the prices were much better than eating onsite. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, and our food came out quickly even with a busy dining room. If you're staying at Great Wolf Lodge, I'd highly recommend making the short trip over to Judy's for breakfast. Good food, good people, and a great value. read more

Delicious food and very friendly, award winning staff. I do love how much of a melting pot this place brings people together. All types of people seen eating here. I really enjoyed my Western Burger and steak fries. read more

Always incredible food and such friendly service! Even with the weekend rush, the wait is never more than 10 minutes, and the atmosphere feels just like home. Everything is kept so clean despite how quickly they turn tables. read more

Stopped in for breakfast after my seeing so many positive reviews. It was very busy so we waited about 15 minutes, which wasn't bad. The restaurant is decorated with tons of signs and knickknacks, and looks very dated. We were very hungry and looking forward to our food. Unfortunately, it was not worth the wait. I ordered the lemon blueberry waffle special and it tasted like canned blueberries with way too much cinnamon? nutmeg? Whatever it was, it did not taste like fresh blueberries. It was not good at all. My husband and son ordered the chicken fried steak, and each only had a few bites. Nothing tasted fresh. Hash browns were cold, and tasted like frozen hash browns. The ham in my scrambled eggs was like cheap, chewy ham steak. The only good thing was the coffee. Service was okay, but I wish the food had been better. read more

If you want a wonderful breakfast, lunch or dinner served by Judy's friendly staff, go to Judy's. Bill and Sharon rave about their breakfast steak meals! I like the corn beef hash. They are busy so this isn't just our opinion.. As Mikey says "try it you'll like it!. read more

First time visiting this location. Went with a local regular. We arrived shortly after opening since we were told gets too busy. Kind wait staff and the decor reminded me of old school restaurant or family style design. We experienced a laid back breakfast. Food was great and we will be returning soon. This is to the young couple that was seated next to us at Judy's on July 30th around 10:30 am. We want you to know that your kindness and generosity were above and beyond anything we have seen in a very long time. When the waitress told us you had paid for our meals I couldn't believe it. Our heartfelt thanks go out to you. I wish I could give the restaurant 5 stars but today they fell short of that today so consider them yours. Thank you again read more

Service was friendly but food just average. Bacon was over cooked and mushroom was dried and little flavour. Unfortunately ventilation was also poor. Left with a smell of grease and bacon on my clothes. read more

The food was amazing! Perfect big portions. Service is friendly kind and quick. Cute country feeling vibes inside

We stopped by here for brunch on a road trip. It seemed like a popular place, it was busy on a Monday morning with full parking lot. The food was a little delayed but pretty good! I had the banana nut pancakes and opted for sausage patty. Pancakes were good, not too sweet. We also had the oatmeal and toast which comes with a cute little glass bottle of cold milk. The eggs Benedict were also delicious. Our server and the hostess were super friendly. Happy eating! read more

Food is good. Wait staff is excellent. They are very pro-veteran, which is always appreciated.

Despite a few positive aspects of our first visit to Judy's Country Kitchen, it was an overall disappointment for the family. I had read many, many positive reviews about Judy's for a while and we decided to give it try ... having usually gone to a different, Tower Avenue, diner for family breakfasts. We wish we had. One of the positives, even though it was very busy we got seated straightaway and our waitress was right on us, asking about drinks and getting our order taken. Off to a good start, but that's about where the good ends. Almost 40 minutes later, the food arrived. With two kids under the age of 6, that made for quite the long wait and the younger son was well on his way to being uncontrollably off the rails. Additionally, it is very loud in there and didn't help any of the four of us feel relaxed or at ease. Granted, it was packed with just about all tables full ... but still. Loud. Thinking that the food would turn things around (seeing as we were all pretty well hungry by then), we were pretty much served a lackluster breakfast. One child had a Pancake with Bacon while the other had a Waffle with Sausage Links. My wife had Biscuits and Gravy with Hash Browns and a Fried Egg. I had one of my favorites, a Country Fried Steak with Hash Browns and a Scrambled Egg. Each of them was Meh. They were all served luke-warm and tasted average, at best. The Pancake and Waffle were each overly tough and chewy (probably the same batter). The Biscuits were pretty good, but the Sausage Gravy was thin and runny and the sausage itself was pretty fatty (as were the Links that came with the Waffle). The Fried Steak was good at itself with a nice tasting batter, but doused with the same thin gravy at the Biscuits brought it down. The Hash Browns and Eggs were fine too, but it's kind of hard to really mess them up. After serving our plates, our waitress disappeared until she brought the bill. After being there for nearly 90 minutes, we were ready to roll. My wife took one kid out to the parking lot and I kept the other and paid as quickly as I could. I am well aware of the busy and hectic nature of a Sunday breakfast in a popular, well established restaurant. However, the ambiance (both noise level and Americana décor), speed and efficiency, and quality of food had us wanting for more. Lesson learned about Judy's ... we'll stick with the Cafe on Tower that has never disappointed and leave Judy's behind. read more

Wonderful atmosphere, cheerful wait staff, delicious food. We ate here two days in a row because it was so delightful.

service was good however the country gravy that 3 of us ordered was horrible. I don't know if they left out in an ingredient, but none of us liked it. However, they let us order i something else, I ordered the fish and chips, which was good. The gift shop is cute. read more

Nice little family owned restaurant. A local favorite with consistently full parking and many times i have gone by and there was a waiting line. I asked the waitress for a recommendation and i tried the chicken fried steak with home potatoes and 2 eggs. I did not care for the fried steak. It was all crispy batter with little meat. The rest was great. Bathroom clean. Nice bright restaurant. I will return. Service was excellent. read more

Friend took me here for lunch. Saw the menu and noticed breakfast all day! I ordered the full order of Biscuits and Gravy. Waitress asked if I have ever had their full order. I hadn't so she described it. No way I could eat that much, so we switched to half order! It too was a large portion and filled me up well. Very tasty biscuits and gravy. Will definitely cone here again. read more

If you appreciate early '90s décor and remnants of past holiday decorations, this place might be right up your alley. It's consistently busy, so I decided to see what the buzz was about. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was a good start. Unfortunately, the experience declined from there. The tables were sticky, and my coffee cup wasn't clean. I ordered an omelette that was filled with oil-slicked vegetables and rubbery eggs--definitely not worth the price. If they upgraded the coffee, improved food quality, and ensured that cups and silverware were properly cleaned before being set on the table, it could make a significant difference. read more

This place is popular for a reason. They provide excellent food in a cute diner setting, with lots of menu items to choose from, fresh/quality ingredients, at a decent price for the portion size. All of that is fantastic but what sets this place apart is the service. You walk in and feel like you are at your grandma's house with all of her friends fussing over you. The service is so friendly and they act like they are happy to have you there instead of many places acting like the customer is a bother. The ambiance is quaint, the restaurant is cute and comfortable, and the parking is super easy. Definitely a popular place for a reason! read more

Tasty breakfast, everything was cooked well and prepared very fast...AND without over-salting. The place was clean and cute, currently all spruced up for Valentine'sDay. Honestly though, the service was the standout here. I don't recall friendlier, faster, or more attentive service in recent memory. Kudos to Judy's team. read more

Good food, friendly staff busy but did not take long to get service. Very good experience

Prices have gone up, quality of food has gone down. The service stayed the same. This place is 50/50 on cleanliness. It's clean at first glance but the closer you look the more dust and filth you see. They really need to deep clean the seating area. It makes me wonder about the kitchen. read more

Excellent breakfast spot, with breakfast served until close at 2pm. Service was great; prompt, friendly and patient. Charming dining area with lots of seating. They were busy when we showed up, but we were sat and served quickly. I ordered the fry bread, with egg whites and bacon. All was delicious. I'm interested in visiting in the future to try some other good sounding items. If driving through the area, this place is worth the 2 mile detour from I-5. read more

We stopped for breakfast and were not disappointed. A solid 4.5 and I'm not a breakfast gal. Now, I was coffee deprived and hungry so taking photos was last thing in my mind. Let me start by saying the service here is outstanding. Jill was our waitress and she was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We felt like we were eating an amazing breakfast at a family member's home. Lots of locals and travelers. All treated like family. I had the Mediterranean Omelette which came with hash browns and toast. YUM! Hubby had a Denver omelette which I imagine was tasty given he gobbled it up. Stopped in on our way to Portland. Trusted Yelp and all the great reviews in this restaurant! Place is cute- service was great. I ordered the Greek omelet with no olives- came with hash browns and added on a pancake. The omelet was ok- really dry- not a lot of feta- hash browns were fantastic. Was pretty disappointed in the pancake- was over cooked and pretty tough. Overall- I'd give this place another try. Food was solid- not fantastic, but service was great. read more

Great stop! Quaint, friendly and excellent breakfast! Reasonably priced. Highly recommend it!

This is my first time here today and it was a great experience. It felt like a real local diner and the food was not only great but it was decently priced. The few people I was with also ordered things that looked delicious, from a really nice seniors menu that had lots of choices, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was very friendly and checked in with us occasionally to see if we needed anything and to top off our coffees which really felt nice because so many places don't do that anymore. I hope to be back when I'm in the area again! read more

I love Judy's. Been coming here for years. The staff is alway wonderful and it's nice to see judy in there every day working just as hard as her staff. Food is always great. My only complaint is that I think there is poor ventilation in the place as everytime I stay to eat my clothes have a strong food odor on them when I leave. Lately I have just ordered take out from them to avoid this (maybe it's just me idk- I'm weird). read more
