    Country Breakfast
    Daniel C M.

Stopped in for breakfast, hard to tell if they are open as the open sign is behind tinted windows. But glad I stopped. I had the country breakfast, the biscuit and gravy was flavorful, and it comes with potatoes and 2 eggs. I was stuffed by the time I left. The waitress was very friendly and made sure my coffee never ran out. Nice as the place was pretty quiet, so you can eat in peace. I definitely will stop in again.

Our food was fantastic! Great portion size. And they don't skimp on the butter. The clam chowder is super thick. They have beers.

Stopped in for dinner an hour before closing time. Waitress seated us right away and was very friendly. They have a number of options from burgers, seafood to salads. We ordered the Taco Salad that was massive, but lacking in flavor. Salad included poor quality lettuce, taco meat, tomatoes, cheese and some other items. With this I ordered water which had a very bad flavor.

What a find this place is! We had the Reuben and the Blue Burger. Everything was fresh and delicious! Someone knows their way around a kitchen! Homemade pies, everything served hot, and offered a tea for the road without asking! Highly recommend this place!

Outstanding quality food, huge portions. Hash browns and country style potatoes are home made and definitely 100% potatoes and vegetables. Everything fresh. Freezer jam with the toast. Ambiance is friendly, local, relaxed. Service is competent, relaxed, and friendly. I love this place! Thank you fellow Yelpers!

I've been hearing soo many good things about this place! Also once I came in to pick up a DoorDash order and it's been on my list of places to try ever since then. Finally had the chance to bring the wife to try it and we weren't disappointed at all! The aesthetic of the dining area is nostalgic to the 50s-60s era (a plus as my wife and I love cafes like that). The menu is huge!!!! So many different things to choose from (expected from a greasy spoon style restaurant), a decent wine/beer menu as well. The wife and I decided to let our hair down with a cranberry mimosa (which was bomb af) She ordered the Chick (a custom sub (po boy) style sandwich, and I got the Main Street burger which I was able to fully customized (was even able to get a fried egg on the burger as well!!!!) service was very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Would definitely come back for sure!!!!!

My boyfriend told me that anytime he passes by that the parking lot is always filled, and even when we were coming in, the parking lot was full and there were definitely some interesting parking choices made by others. We were able to get parking and as we entered we were greeted warmly by staff. Luckily, there was a small table for us so we were seated right away with menus. The staff here are on point with checking in at the perfect times and they always do a sweep for coffee and water refills, to see if anyone needs anything or anything else. They are also so friendly and seem to know their regulars well too. The bathroom is well-maintained and even has a changing station. I got the strawberry lemonade and the biscuits and gravy combo that comes with eggs, hash browns, and ham while my boyfriend got the chicken club sandwich. The drink arrived immediately and not even after a few minutes did our food arrive. The pictures and reviews did not lie, the portions were huge and the food tasted great especially for the price. You do pay at the front once they drop off the tab. I do also appreciate that they sell some local goods from honey, sauces, jewelry and other neat things. This place deserves the glowing reviews and more.

I had the Pesto Caprese pizza and it was amazing! The balsamic glaze added just the right amount of sweetness to bring together the different flavors. My husband had the NY steak and said it was delicious and cooked to perfection. Our server was very attentive and told us how all the ingredients were locally sourced, which is very good to hear because we like to support local businesses. Lastly, the building is quite beautiful with the exposed brick interior walls. I'm not familiar with the local history so I'm curious as to what this building was originally? We will definitely come back and also check out the market next time.

    ### So Bad It Was Almost Comical…read more My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our drive from Oregon to Seattle. The parking lot was completely full, so after circling around and eventually finding street parking, we figured the place must be popular. Unfortunately, that turned out to be the high point of the experience. The main restaurant was fairly full, so we were seated in a large, dark bar area in the back. And then... nothing happened. For more than 30 minutes. Eventually, a waiter appeared and took our order. Then another 30+ minutes passed before the food arrived. Somehow, even our iced tea didn't make it to the table until the food did. All told, we spent roughly an hour sitting at an empty table without so much as a beverage, and about 90 minutes from the time we arrived until we actually had food in front of us. At that point, the whole experience was becoming almost comical. We ordered a cod burger with fries, a Caesar salad, onion rings and an iced tea. The cod burger was okay. Nothing memorable, but edible. The Caesar salad was actually good. The fries, however, arrived cold, soggy and thoroughly greasy -- quite an accomplishment considering how long we waited for them. The onion rings apparently embarked on a separate journey altogether, because they never arrived. By then, we'd lost the will to ask about them and just gave up. The grand total for one cod burger with cold fries, a small Caesar salad and an iced tea? $40.00! We mentioned the long wait, forgotten food and other problems to our waiter. He was sympathetic and explained that they were short staffed, which we understand can make things difficult. But being short staffed doesn't make a 90-minute lunch, no drinks for an hour, cold soggy fries and forgotten food any less disappointing -- especially at those prices. By the end, we weren't even angry. The whole thing had crossed over into comedy. Needless to say, on future drives between Oregon and Seattle, we'll be finding a different midway lunch stop.

My boyfriend and I have been here once but only to check it out as we were coming up from Oregon…read more We have visited the Olympia location and have done trivia, ordered food and drinks and hung out at the location. We wanted to participate in the video game trivia that was hosted at the Centralia one and we decided to stop by 30ish minutes before they started at 7 which they did start on the dot. When you arrive, you go through the restaurant first and you are able to seat yourselves then wait until a server notices to drop off menus and take your order. The menu can be a bit confusing as they have some drink items on the regular menu and a secret menu and limited menu with food or dessert on the drink menu. It took a little bit to get noticed but we got a Hogwash potion and a Yoshi's Island for drinks as we had just had dinner elsewhere as the food prices here a bit much and not worth price but their video game or other nerdy themed drinks which some can be mocktails are fantastic. My boyfriend's Hogwash potion didn't take long and it was cool to see it opened with vapors coming out. My drink took much more time but it felt like it was more ice than anything as I felt like I had maybe four sips before it was all good. The trivia was great but they were having mic issues but it was also just hard to hear the host as we were sitting on the opposite end of where the host was. There are TVs that have the questions so that was very helpful. The service here is friendly but it would have been nice to be checked on more as I wanted to order another drink but their loss, I suppose. My boyfriend and I ended up getting first place but I'm also a little sad cause I didn't see a way to get points for our order today as I know they have a Toast reward system.

Being arcade it had a fun lively atmosphere. There's quite a few different menu options. We decided on a stuffed caramelized onion and provolone burger and a side of onion rings. It was really good. We chose a side of fries to go with the burger, as you get to choose one side and we ordered the onion rings separately. I'm not trying to be petty but when you order both fries and onion rings and you're asked if you want any sauce to go with it I don't think you should be charged. They both should come with at least 1 sauce per side. The cocktail menu looked really good with fun signature cocktails. The place was clean and friendly staff. Will come back.
