French Toast Cocktail, half gone before I thought about taking a picture...

They are under new ownership now. Food was good and service was great. My husband and I were two of the three in the place, so... They are keeping a lot of the things the same such as weekly specials and tons of fun wing sauces. HOWEVER, that awesome drink menu is gone. It was the one thing to me that separated it from every other tavern between Vancouver and Kent. Bummer

The most gigantic club sandwich on rye. Hot fries and a drink while watching the hawks.

We have been here several times since covid and deeply appreciate this place. Today we came for lunch and couldn't be happier. The bar is constantly being cleaned. The entire staff is masked and stay that way. Tables are set up to ensure they follow the state health guidelines and the staff is amazing. Their menu Isn't expansive but it sure is tasty. And seriously the club sandwich I had today will literally feed me for 2 days. I had to cut it into 8ths just to get my big ass mouth around it. Thursday nights are steak nights, Tuesday night we plan on coming for your trivia night. This place has gone outta their way to work with the current mandates and I deeply appreciate their attention to detail. GREAT FOOD. GOOD PEOPLE.

    Cheesesteak

This was our first visit, wanted to grab a drink and quick bite on way home from Tacoma. I had the cheesesteak and a salad and they were both amazing. The hubby had the mushroom swiss burger and he said it was great as well. Great food and service. We will definitely be back.

Tacho's. Tater tots with meat, liquid cheese( a little spicy) lettuce, black beans, onions, tomatoes, olives. Sour cream and salsa.

Loud. Burnt food. Not good at all. Local joint that gets local love but shouldn't be more than that.

Good burger and Reuben sandwich. Service was a little slow considering we were the only people there. Little on dark side.

The Peanut Butter Burger is a revelation, and I've never had a BLT with a better ratio than the one I ordered at McFiler's.

A Diamond in the Rough !! This is a Absolutely Amazing Venue…read more The D&R Theater was built in 1923/24 by Ed Dolan (which is where the "D" came from D&R). It been renovated and restored. A state of the art sound and lighting system make this a great place to see concerts. They seem to be getting great artists to come to Aberdeen also !! It is an intimate venue with up close and personal live shows. A small concession stand with drinks, pizza & popcorn. Every seat is Awesome. I will always try to see shows here, just some of the artists I remember seeing from the pictures in the lobby are Clint Black, Styx, Jonny Lang, Fab Four, Chris Isaak, Foreigner, Wynonna, Robert Cray, Loaded, Bill Cosby, Queensryche.... And many more !!! Well worth the trip, an Awesome night out !!

It is great to see some of the older buildings in Grays Harbor being restored and used! First of all, there isn't a bad seat in the house. I sat in the 13th row on the right side, and it was a great view. It's a small theater, how can any seat be bad? The seats themselves are fine, typical of what you would expect in any venue. If you go to a theater, the seats are going to be close--it is what it is. I have visited the coffee shop in the past and bought my tickets there. It is an awesome atmosphere, and the service was always nice and friendly. It is clean, warm and inviting. To be fair, I did not go upstairs, and I did not buy anything from concessions. But when I bought my concert tickets, I was able to go in the theater and check it out. This theater will truly be an asset to the community. In fact, Billy's restaurant didn't have one empty seat before the concert! This will really help the economy in Aberdeen. I went to Queesryche, and it was a great show. The opening group was a band called Gord, and they sounded a bit like an AC/DC cover band. Enjoyable, but the vocals were hard to hear. Not sure if that's the DnR speaker system or not. But Queensryche was great, vocals were very clear! I loved the feel of the small theater with a loud band like that. The biggest complaint I had was that between acts, the doors were open, and people were outside smoking, and the smoke filtered right in to the theater. Maybe they could close the doors next time. It is nice that we don't have to go out of town to get good entertainment, and we have a theater that can handle it. Unlike the prior poster, I felt I saw a show in a manner that I would have seen anywhere else. It started on time with the first band promptly starting. I will admit, it did seem like it took a long time for the main act to begin after the opener, but I didn't mind, and I'm not sure whose fault that is. As for prices, you are going to pay to see a show. I have never compared prices to other places, but if the previous poster is correct, why not pay a little extra to see a show right here at home? You save on gas money and food to eat out, and you help your community. I will go back to the DnR theater next time there is a show worth seeing. The acts they've brought in have been mostly country, so I'm hoping for more variety this year. They have also allowed churches to have Christmas Services, as well as had dance companies have recitals there. Clearly, they are trying to be a friend to our community. We should support them.

We haven't had the occasion to visit in maybe a year or two so .. we were definitely overdue! We appreciated the friendly, charming nature of our server and the wide assortment of options to choose from! I'm going to start with the cookies because ...O...M...Goodness, we bought one Ube cookie and one Cardamom. We haven't tasted the Ube yet (we're pacing ourselves lol) but the Cardamom was delicious and soooo soft, even though we didn't try it until a couple of hours later! My wife ordered the Deli Wrap, house deli slices, vegan cheeze, and beautiful micro greens while I ordered two items, a Mock Tuna sandwich made of chickpea salad and vegan mayo as well as their Mushroom Oat Groat soup. I only had a bite of Sandi's wrap but it was delicious and she seemed to love it. The soup I ordered had a really rich delicious mushroom depth about it, very tasty with lots of good veggie bits in there. The Mock Tuna was hearty, filling, very tasty .. and I appreciated that it came with chips and a piece of pineapple and apple. We had visited Mexico a couple of years ago. The vegan options we had while there, they were WAY more fresh and vibrant than what you typically regularly find here in the U.S.. Instead of using stock items like Impossible or Beyond (which I have nothing against, I love both products), the burgers are usually made from scratch using, beans, beets, whatever fresh ingredients you can imagine! The freshness of the ingredients really hits the palette in a big way! So, that was totally my experience at Black Dog today. Our lunch was fresh and vibrant and I left feeling full but not bloated or overwhelmed. On an aside, I appreciate the option to order half a sandwich, that's very helpful to keep gluttony at bay They regularly have all kinds of events there so I recommend checking out their page and plan visit for a fun event, amazing food, and delightful service.

Tofu rueben was messy and delicious with a thick slab of seasoned tofu slathered with sauerkraut, sauce, and melty coconut-based cheese. Soup of the day was a beetroot with cashew cream and dill, savory and so delicious that my partner who hates beets loved it. We also tried the special (anticuochoa bowl) which is absolutely worth trying. A bed of quinoa and kale topped with faux chick'n, lime agave cabbage slaw, pepitas and a ton of additional tasty sauces and toppings that made the whole thing amazingly tasty on top of nutritious.
