Awesome little bar for drinks and food. The esthetic of the place was nice with the brick walls and edison lighting. While there my husband ordered a double r and coke, we got a mini corn dog app, and he ordered the ham of doom (triple decker grilled ham and cheese) and I got the pb cheeseburger (with grilled onions and A1 sauce) their menu was really big considering! We hit this place about a year ago and had great service and good food. We went back by on our way back north to the Tacoma area and unfortunately it has gone downhill. I understand with the last few years that it is hard to find help and prices have gone up. But $18 for a cheeseburger? That is outrageous for a simple bar like this. The bartender was also the cook. That is never a good thing. Service was very slow and it was not the bartenders fault. She did her best and kept a smile. As a business owner I can tell you that having two people on staff will more than make up the difference in the cost of the employee. Two beverages and you've paid for an employee for an hour. Bring the prices down and get more business. The facility was clean. I would suggest opening the curtains for more natural light during the day. And also moving the stage to the front left of the door. The stage is huge and overcomes the general seating area. We may give this one more chance but not for sure. read more

We had heard good things of McFilers and wanted to give them a try. We ordered pick up due to quarantine for COVID and our order was correct and ready on time for pick up. The onion rings, sweet potato fries and sauces were all great. The bun and all the fixings on the burgers were good too, the burger patties tasted like a grill, no flavor other than the distinct flavor of a charred grill. We were disappointed since both of us had heard great things and ended up spending $30 for onion rings and fries because neither of us could finish our burgers and we were starving. We might give it another shot down the road because the sides were good. read more

First time order...great sandwiches and burgers! Ordered the club with curly fries, bacon bleu burger with Hand-cut fries, plain bacon burger & mozzarella sticks. These guys were quick, food was fresh and ready in 10 minutes. Can't wait to visit and enjoy the in house atmosphere when they can be opened. Will be back! read more

Ok so with kids sport finally starting up again we decided to splurge on a after practice cheeseburger from here. I called in my order and gave the guy my name he kept getting it wrong and I tried correcting him and he rudely said "whatever we will fix when you get here" then I continued placing my order and he said he couldn't hear me and gave the phone to a lady who took our order no problem. Well I guess they decided they didn't wanna make my food because a few min after placing my order and hanging up they called and said they were out of hamburger patties. So curious I used my daughters phone to call and order a cheeseburger And guess what! They had They took the order no problem! Needless to say I won't be eating here again and I will make this very known. That's crappy service for meh food! This place needs to go! read more

The wings and fried pickles were delicious. Next time I'm sharing my order of pickles though. I had my wings naked which is how I prefer them but others had sauces and each sauce was good. My coworker had the radioactive sauce and there was no way I was going to try that since her eye lids were sweating - she likes that! We hope this place survives the shut down! read more

I wasn't expecting much from just a bar but damn! My wife and I stopped in for lunch today just to try something new and different. Let me be clear. The waiter we had was a really great guy. The waitress that "finally" brought us our "supposed to be" hot food, that was cold when she gave it to us. She asked three different tables if it was what they ordered before giving it to us. The French Dip sandwich I got was horrible. Cold and way too salty. Same with the Au Jus dip. My wife had the Turkey Bacon Swiss sandwich and it was so greasy she couldn't finish it. I couldn't finish my sandwich either. Might have been just a tiny bit better if we didn't wait for it for 40 minutes. The worst part was that two terrible sandwiches and two drinks came to $67.80! For that money we could have had a really nice dinner just about anywhere. To the waiter....sorry about $5 tip. You deserved more but we couldn't reward such horrible food. We'll never be back. To anyone else thinking of eating here? Don't eat here. It'll be cheaper to just go there to get drunk. read more

Great new joint in town! One of the best burgers I have ever had, and my husband felt the same! Also, their burgers are a great size. I don't like spending a little more than I usually would on a burger only to find the portion to be small. Another thing I really like about this place is that local bands play here a lot, of all different genres. I definitely recommend checking this place out. read more

Went to McFilers for the first time today with my family. There may have only been one person working, Kennedy, who handled everything timely, was very funny and friendly (and knowledgeable about music ;) and food was fast and PERFECT. Really disappointed. We usually come here all the time. Stopped in today for lunch and had an awful experience. The food was subpar, the service was mediocre, it took us 20 minutes to get our drinks, we actually got our appetizer before our drinks. The waitress was friendly but hardly checked on us, our drinks were emptied and sitting. Fries were soggy and the fried pickles were over cooked and hardly had batter on them. It's very upsetting to have such an amazing restaurant go downhill. read more

This restaurant is incredible. The staff is amazing and Zane is the fastest and most accurate bartender/server I've ever witnessed. His drinks are always delicious! The food is always so good. Great food, great atmosphere. I like that my family and I can all come have dinner and bring our kids. I think kids are welcome until 11 pm. Make sure to verify for yourself. We used to go every Monday for trivia night and it was so much fun. Haven't been able to go for a while due to busy back to school schedules. I love this place! My wife found the menu online and ordered 6 meals. 1 for 10.50 1 for 7.99 and 4 for 8.99. All a sudden my wife shows up and it's 85$ and the cashier would not let her talk to a manager or owner. Then the cashier found the menus online and said " that is out of date and our prices have gone up " plus when the wife got home some of the orders were wrong. I told the wife to make sure we or anyone we know ever eat here. I'm glad she found this out now her office was ordering from here tomorrow based off the menu online but now she will find another restaurant to feed the 12 to 14 in her office read more

First time customer and found that the Service and Food were excellent! Had the Rib Eye and it was perfect! The potato soup was also very good, next time add some beer and cheese!!! The desert was so good that we ordered seconds! Highly recommend, will be back. read more

This place had awful customer service. Our family of 5 went in for a steak night, and we sat for over an hour, watching people get served who came in after us. We asked how much longer in a respectful way because we had been waiting a long time and the guy said "it'll be 17 minutes, you knew there was going to be a wait" and then kicked us out. read more

Good cold beers great service neat building. I had the Rueben sandwich which was a little wet but still managed to be the best Rueben I've had in the area. I'm kind of crazy about Rueben sandwiches. Very poor service. Took our drink order and then forgot our order for over 15 minutes. They re-took our drink order and it took 10 to 15 minutes to get those drinks. We ordered dinner and waited almost 1 hour before we canceled our order, paid for our 1 set of drinks and walked out. They kept apologizing for the wait but did not correct the situation. read more
