This was a busy little Starbucks just off the freeway in a truck stop type area. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Drinks were on point as far as consistency and flavor, but the sandwich was a little disappointing. I original ordered the double smoked ham and cheese, which is my absolute favorite, but they had noticed they were actually out so I had to choose something else. Would not choose this Gouda sandwich one again as it was kind of dry. read more

Well, this used to our favorite starbucks but sadly my 12 ounce iced caramel latte was not good. This was the only starbucks that used to make it right. I had the barista even remake it because tasted off. She was rude about remaking it and said that it was one shot of espresso and 3 pumps caramel. No wonder it tasted off. Yuck. No coffee flavor. For a very busy Starbucks- service was great. I ordered a breakfast sandwich online while at the gas station across the parking lot, and it was ready - and not frozen in the middle when I arrived. It loses 2 stars because the location. The store is tucked away in the corner of a very small parking lot. There is very limited parking, appears to be designed for Yugo sized cars, in a single entrance parking lot. Plus, the very busy drive thru appears to provide drivers with an obstacle course like experience. read more

The service is usually great and I love the pink drink but they don't offer white espresso. Of all the regular and dark roast espresso theirs has the worst flavor! Even when I drank only regular roast coffee theirs tasted burnt to me. Some have nice seating and others are just so loud you can't concentrate or converse with others. I routinely drive from Pierce County down to Portland for work, typically twice per month. This trusty Starbucks is always there for me roughly halfway between my end points. It's a great location in the middle of nowhere and easy on and off the freeway and with a drive through if you don't need to get out and stretch your legs. This Starbucks also has an interesting refrigerated case larger than most other locations and seems to carry products different from other locations. The staff is pretty friendly and the quality of the drinks is consistent Starbucks. I would call the crew and location to be five star over the top but they are consistent and do their jobs well. Skip Starbucks. Go across the highway to Avenue Espresso, instead. Starbucks: When my drink was handed to me, it was visibly obvious that it had been made incorrectly. I had ordered a blended latte with extra shots. What was handed to me was a cup 3/4 full of whipped flavored milk. They had not added the shots or the ice. It should never have been handed to me when it was so obvious that it was not even made correctly. When I brought it to their attention, they insisted it was correct and just said "sorry". They did not offer to remake the drink correctly. I had to wait in the order line all over again to return the drink and get a refund. Avenue Espresso: Since Starbucks was an epic failure, I then drove over to the other side of the highway to Avenue Espresso! Avenue Espresso was fast, friendly, and great coffee. No hassle. I was so disappointed with the staff of this store. There was a 91 year old disabled woman who needed to use the restroom. I understand with COVID-19 everything we've known has changed. We all need to be careful & clean. I also understand that sometimes we all have to bend the rules slightly.
