We heard about this place... we wanted to check it out... ordered the milkshakes(blackberry and cherry and strawberry) and finger foods(onion rings and mushrooms) It was good price for the amount of foods and it was crispy and piping hot fresh when we got our foods. Staffs were friendly and fast. They have sitting tables and chairs and right side building has indoor sitting area as well. We were really happy to stopped by the huff n puff drive in. Do not confuse them with a pot shop. This burger stand has delicious burgers and shakes. My husband and I both ordered burgers, one order of fries, and I got a hot fudge shake. They have a ton of shake flavors. They also have curly fries, but I didn't notice that until after I ordered. Our burgers were good. The one order of fries was huge and large enough to split. My shake was delicious. They have a lids size which was the perfect treat. They have a few outside tables and an area for indoor eating. Will stop again! read more

Otherwise, you may wait 15-20 min for your food, but they have outdoor seating and the scenery is gorgeous- so not a bad wait. Husband and I split the logger combo (burger with all the fixings + bacon + wavy fries) and a small huckleberry shake. Burger was juicy and delish with the bacon and the huckleberry shake was creamy and a good portion for the price, but not exactly the true huckleberry flavor. Had to update this review but there's not a lot that's changed. This place seems to be stuck in time and that's an awesome thing! Stopped after the lunch hour and there was still a line. Even with that, still around 10 minutes for our food. You know it's awesone when a postal carrier walks up, asks for the usual, and walks away a few minutes later with her milkshake. I still don't think they've got indoor seating but again, a car picnic was just fine for us. We've definitely got a good reason to take the long way to Olympia every time. read more

It was not busy (although it definitely was when we got our order in) so we were able to order quickly. It was given to us pretty quickly. Came here after a longgg day of hiking and the food did not disappoint. Bf and I both got the double deluxe cheeseburger and our hangriness was immediately satiated haha. In fact, the burgers were so large that we both had leftovers that were still good the next day. The tater tots that came with the order were crisped perfectly-- I might've liked this even more than the burger. The meal was so good!! Service is quick and amazing. There's seating outside, but it was raining so my bf and I sat in the car. Not long after, we realized the car wouldn't start. The owner (?) Christy called her husband to help jumpstart our car!! Finished a local hike in Gifford Pinochet National Park. It's Covid-19 so no inside seating but 5 outside picnic tables were available. Saw decent reviews on yelp for this drive in. Very busy on a Sunday afternoon but food was out in 15 minutes. Decent burgers but they were frozen patties that were flattened down to mushy consistency. The fried mushrooms were from a bag, and so were the curly fries. That really can't be held against them since they are in the middle of nowhere. The stars of the meal was the milkshakes! How is it even possible for a place with the worst milkshakes you'll ever have in your life to have such a high rating? Is it because it looks cute and kitschy? Or it has loyal customers? I don't get it. They flavour their milkshakes. With. Torani. Syrups. We ordered a strawberry shake, and it was vanilla flavoured frozen dairy dessert, with Torani strawberry syrup mixed in. A LOT of syrup. Have you ever wondered what a cough syrup milkshake without the fun benefits of actual cough syrup tastes like? It tastes like cold, melting, bittersweet garbage. I cannot wrap my mind around this. Can they not just throw some frozen strawberries into the blender with some ice cream? Are they saving THAT much money that giving people this swill is acceptable? I'd always gotten pineapple shakes, which are made with canned pineapple and therefore passable (and worth 1 star at least), so I had no idea how horrendous other flavours would be. I will never trust another berry ever again. I don't even know what strawberry is anymore. I'll have nightmares about this "strawberry" catastrophe for the rest of my life, waking up in the dead of night in a cold sweat, choking on the memory of neon pink, sickly sweet, runny, milk punch clogging my esophagus. Great burgers! Onion rings meh.. taters, typical.. Very long lines on weekends, despite it being a drive in. I would love if they added pickles to their burger...it needs a tart lift. We got the logger burger and they forgot my hubby's egg (because I asked to not have it) but they gave me his bacon since he didn't want it. Very accommodating when I asked for a basket of food and ate on site to avoid packaging (they have 4 picnic tables...couple of these tables need to be renovated).
