The milkshakes were really good. We decided to eat outside, which meant ordering from their "to go"window. The lady was cool, and adjusted our burger orders to match what they have on the menu to make things a little less cost. (A plain burger has a name, my kid ordered the more expensive with more toppings burger). We sat outside, it was ok. A restaurant across the street blocks the view of the mountain. There is some dingyness to the area and exterior walls, fence and neighbors. It wasn't uncomfortable for me, but I could see how some folks might be uncomfortable. We were checking out Eatonville on a Sunday and were about to go somewhere else but it was packed and we stumbled across Cruiser Cafe. We loved they had a separate to go, pick up, outside eating window. This spot is small but you definitely don't go away hungry. The milkshake options are vast and the burgers I saw looked delicious. We stopped here on the way to Mt. Rainier. Unfortunately, it was overcast and we couldn't see the mountain. Our group had spaghetti and meatballs (came with an ice cream dessert!) and hamburger. Both were really good. My daughter liked the hamburger so much that we stopped on our way out of Mt. Rainier a few days later. The skies were clear and we sat outside and enjoyed the views. We stopped here on a whim while heading to Rainier and quickly realized we came a across a hidden gem. To begin, the service was super friendly. We were helped out super quickly and they were so patient. They also had a lot of different food options. I tried the burger and it was solid, but I think what really stood out was the tater tots. We had received some frozen mozzarella sticks, she profusely apologized and then comped us for them. We stopped by around 830am-9am on a Sunday with our 2 kids. It's a small Cafe ,decorated in old Eatonville sports memorabilia. The ambiance was cute, cozy and quiet. We ordered apple juice ,coffee, the Cruiser Country Benedict, Cruiser Scrambler and a half order of biscuits and gravy. The portions were big, so I shared the scrambler with my 1.5yr and 5yr old. It was the perfect portion for all 3 of us. My husband enjoyed his country Benedict and we were given fresh homemade jam for our toast. This is diner food. Hands down, the best diner food in this lovely town of Eatonville... and possibly the surrounding area. The place looks like an old house, that was converted into a restaurant space, probably because it was, and that's okay, because the place is pumping out solid food for all the people coming back from, or going to Mount Rainier. We came here because we were hungry coming back from Paradise, and all we wanted was a darn good burger, crinkle cut fries, and milkshakes. They have all that and more... I had a well portioned and wonderful tasting sandwich, the kiddo had probably one of the best grilled cheese, and wife had a soup/salad. Everything was just delicious, and yes, as others have stated, it takes a while for the food to show up. That's okay, because you know they are taking their time, either because the kitchen is small, or they are making it to order... but who cares, when it gets delivered to your seat, it's hot and wonderful. The service is also exactly what you want, simple, no frills, and perfection. They do care about you being happy, and will do what they can to make sure you are delighted, which I felt like they came by exactly the number of times I would have wanted, and by the time we left, our bellies were ready for the long drive back to Seattle. We stopped here before a visit to NW trek and enjoyed our meal. I got a teriyaki hamburger with no bun and tater tots. The hamburger itself was seasoned nicely but the tots could have used some more seasoning and maybe a few minutes longer in the fryer. My mom got a French dip and said it was pretty standard but still good. She really enjoyed the au jus. We did originally come here for breakfast but they must only do that on the weekends or something because they weren't offering it at 11am on a weekday. After spending the morning climbing the mountain, a friend and I decided to stop here for a bite to eat. We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday and we were seated right away when we walked in. The Cafe is small and quaint, with approximately 10 tables or so. Our serve was kind and patient throughout the entire experience. I ordered The Coach burger and the Tomato Tortellini Soup; both items were made to perfection. Their crinkle cut fries are the best and their house made ranch is very good. We were in Ashford for the weekend for our anniversary and on our way home we were looking for somewhere good to eat so we looked up reviews and thought we'd try Cruisers. We came in and they have a little gift shop with candles, cups, and wax melts that are all made locally, which we love to be able to support someone local. The cups are tumbler type cups and some that are like mason jars. Great way to support a local business and get some good food. We had Andrew has our Waiter and he was kind, kept checking on us, was quick to get us anything we needed, and did a great job. We got the school burger and Ruben sandwich, both were great. We had a huckleberry and a banana shake to go with our meal and enjoyed everything. We will for sure come back and try some other yummy food. read more

Lots to choose from (burger, chicken strips, fish n chips, pasta with sauce, etc) kids ordered chicken strips and pasta with sauce (+meatball). Both kids enjoyed their meals! Adults each got a wrap, plenty of food! Cobb chicken wrap with green salad and chicken bacon ranch wrap with potato salad. Kid got a side of ranch, I ordered extra bleu cheese. Food was fresh and made to order and came out quick. Pleasant service with great hospitality! Kids enjoyed the 25 cent candy machine on the way out. I absolutely love to come here to eat, everyone is friendly. I have great service and I can't complain about that. The other day when I came in, to eat, I ordered the chopped steak dinner which claimed to have a half a pound of meat and other items included for $18.99. Unfortunately the hamburger patty was so thin, It looked like it had been incinerated. It looked like one of those preformed patties you buy in a frozen package at Walmart. It did not look like real meat and it did not taste like real meat and no way that was a half a pound of meat . There was no life left in it. No juice, It was dry and actually inedible. The green beans looked like the air had been let out of them and they were wrinkled up prunes on my plate. The baked potato was good. The garlic toast was good, the salad good. But at the end of the day, I spent $24 on a lifeless unsatisfying meal. I highly recommend you get real meat and hand form the Patty for the dinner... It's so obvious that those are package Frozen patties and they're not good. read more
