Super friendly barista and wonderfully welcoming vibe. Had a couple of lattes that were very well done.

My family was looking for a place to try for breakfast and this popped up on Google so we thought…read morewe'd give it a try. We ordered the following with ratings and overall feel: Earl's Mess 8/10: The gravy on this was BOMB! The only downside of this dish was that there were bell pepper seeds everywhere in the food so I got alot of crunchies. I also would have loved like a slice of toast or a biscuit to really push this dish over the edge. Benedict Bowl 6/10: Portion is a little small and the hollandaise sauce was alright. 34916 7/10: The biscuit and fruit jam was the best part! Everything else was overall good but not knock your shoes off. Deserts chocolate chip whoopie pies, snickerdoodle coffee cake bites and a chocolate cupcake 10/10: This is the bread and butter of it all. Their deserts are amazing! The service was good. We were greeted right away and all our questions were answered quickly. We will definitely be back to try more items.

There were not many yummy's to choose from...the tables were gone and 1/2 the restaurant has candy and crude food in it. We just discovered Gilhams a while ago and have stopped every time we go by. Wish you luck on your new endeavor but we will pass as cozy is our priority.

First of all, you must realize there's tons of coffee places in Washington, especially in Yelm I can count about 9 places that sell coffee on the main Street. I'm not even counting the half dozen gas stations either . Most of them are little drive-thru structures. This one is a brick and mortar in town. And unfortunately people are lazy and like to drive through and get their beverages. So that's sort of a negative for Kravins. You need to make that place a coffee house. Someone is willing to get out of their car for. The former business was really adorable. They had some really cute unique vintage stuff in there shop. They had a business that did Do-It-Yourself terrariums in the back. It was very unique and it was sad that they didn't make it due to lack of support of this town. The rule of thumb is when you take over a business you need to make it better and more interesting . I went in the other day, because I heard they had soup there a while back. They no longer sell soup. So that's strike one. Their baked goods looked like they had bought them from the grocery store instead of either sourcing them from someone unique or baking them themselves. There are plenty of bakers that are independent in this town that you could source some really amazing baked goods from if you don't want to do it yourself. You need something like that to bring people in. I don't know why you don't have a soup and salad bar that would take your business to the next level. The cute shop and vintage items are gone and have been replaced with boring gift store items. Tim's pharmacy has the most unique items and they're right across the street. Why are you trying to reinvent the wheel with some humdrum stuff? I'm giving you free advice if you want to make that business go. You have to make it shine and be so unique. Even the drinks have to be different. I purchased a small smoothie that cost me almost $8 and it wasn't good. It was extremely sweet and it had a strange taste to it. Based on that visit I would never come back and I wouldn't recommend you to anybody. You have a really nice shop there. You need to really bring it up to the next level. You need to serve some sort of soup and salad. Something unique. Forget the sandwiches. Those are everywhere or if you make sandwiches they have to be different. People are looking for something new. Also you want to make it a place people want to come and hang out. It's not charming anymore with the gift shop hanging there. Hopefully you fix it. Turn it into a little restaurant.

While I *am* a coffee enthusiast, I am not a coffee snob by any means. That being said, I don't like getting a milk based drink (eg. a latte) where you can't taste the espresso. That's not the case here! The espresso still has a rich and roasty flavour profile that isn't diminished by the milk. Woohoo! I'm looking forward to having this addition in Yelm. They have some great specials like free shot Friday and double stamp Tuesday, so get a rewards card and don't miss out on those!

We ordered two sausage bagels sandwiches, an iced milky way and a hot white chocolate mocha. The coffee was good but the food was not. We went to bite into the sandwich and the egg was still frozen on both. Luckily we were going home so we had the ability to heat it up but we did have to wait. The coffee had good flavor and I would try another drink again but for the price of everything I didn't really feel like it was worth it. When ordering as well I asked the Barista about the flavor and which she preferred and she couldn't really give me a straight answer, maybe she didn't really know their products? I had never been there before so I was hoping for some guidance but was left a little empty.

The raisin and walnut bread was especially good when toasted with some butter--just as the owner recommended. It was delicious. I usually enjoy the salt bread on its own, but this time I tried the salt bread with red bean. The buttery, salty bread paired with the sweet red bean created a really nice balance. The owner always kind and welcoming. I arrived a bit late on this visit, so I didn't order coffee. But next time I'll definitely come earlier to try their new ube latte.
