There is some dingyness to the area and exterior walls, fence and neighbors. It wasn't uncomfortable for me, but I could see how some folks might be uncomfortable. I would go back to this place without a problem, but I am not going to be making any special trips to eat there.

We didn't want to keep asking our server for things since she was so busy, so we held off from asking for the last two dishes. But when the rest of us were close to finishing our meals, we finally brought it up -- to three people. One person said she'd check since she was heading to the kitchen; she came back out a minute later and walked right past our table. Finally the third person we asked said the kitchen was JUST starting to make the dishes, "because the restaurant has been so busy," she said. Odd, given that we got all our other dishes 30-40 minutes prior, and other people who came later were being served. There was no apology at all. One dish came out and 15 minutes later, our server asked if we still wanted the last dish. We said no. Meanwhile, we also needed more water. I watched a server giving refills at each table around ours. She made eye contact with me and then walked past our table to refill other tables. Same kind of treatment when we asked for the bill. I'm just appalled by the poor customer service, which was mentioned in a few other reviews. That experience overshadowed the good food and beautiful setting.
