We stopped here after strolling Paradise, and were so grateful for it. I got a decaf white mocha that was delicious and my husband got a mocha that he also liked. I got a yogurt parfait, my daughter got a bowl of cold cereal, my husband got a croissant, and my son got biscuits and gravy. All were delicious. We were impressed by the biscuits and gravy! The website said it didn't open til 9 or 10, but the sign on the door said 6:30. There are a few tables inside, many outside, and it was easy to find a spot to sit. read more

Small little grab-and-go shop in the Paradise Inn. A lot of prepackaged stuff - sandwiches, salads. Also canned drinks and alcohol. Food is definitely overpriced. For a pre-packaged sandwich with no sides, it was $15. Sandwich was decent, but maybe worth $8 or $9, not $15. Understand that you're paying for demand as there aren't many options, but still overpriced. Only worth it if you're super hungry and don't have any other food options. read more

Ordered a scone and regular 12oz latte. Service was slow and full of miscommunication BUT eventually accomplished the goal. However, Scone was good but cold/stale, and coffee was surprisingly made with half and half... unprompted and unwarned.. should be a crime to feed someone so much fat without a warning.. i feel sorry for the people on the car ride home with me. my friend also ordered an iced chai latte and received it hot. read more

The pastries were good, glad they offer hot oatmeal. The hours are great 6am to 10pm. Only took off a star because it's warm in there and felt the line for waiting could have been more efficiently organized. There was at least one instance where customers cut the line because they weren't aware there was a single line being split between 2 registers. read more

It's a small café in the back right corner of the Lodge. We grab whatever food with drinks we want to pay at the cash register and go. We were not able to charge our food to our room. They have a captive audience here this is the only food place opened in the park and the prices reflect this Very nice selection of sandwiches, breakfast items, salads, drinks, cheese and desserts. They are opened from six in the morning until nine in the evening. You can take your food to go or enjoy it in the lodge or on tables on the patio. It wasn't inexpensive, the portions were small, but everything was tasty. We shared a chicken chipotle sandwich with a Mediterranean plate and a cheese plate. The Mediterranean plate had an oz of feta, oz of eggplant & 1/4 pita. The cheese plate had 4 crackers, 4 grapes, 1/4 apple, oz Brie & oz of cheddar. Very nice $30 dinner. Nothing has prices, I have no idea how the 3 items totaled $30. Many brought their own wine & picnic baskets, commenting on the prices & small portions. read more

Tatoosh cafe was a nice find in a little Americana haven of lakeside culture from the mid century. Pretty setting. Generous portions of salmon we couldn't finish. Cute town. The entire rainforest offered much more than we were expecting. Nothing wrong but nothing outstanding there either. read more

Decent place to grab a quick bite when you are in Mt. Rainier. The food was all pre-packaged so you can grab and go. Food was OK, service was good, prices were expensive. You can sit outside, eat while enjoying the fresh air. They have a limited menu, and when they run out of an item, they are out. read more

I'd eat here over the inn restaurant for sure! They do a fantastic iced mocha and an average vanilla latte and London fog. They have prepackaged sandwiches, salads, cereals, chips, candy, bars, and drinks. They have several vegan options (sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, and salads) which is really nice. They can sell out of things so your best bet for a large selection is to go in between meal times. Lunch things here are expensive (like $12-$16 salads and sandwiches). They have a pretty large selection of pastries (we thought the best thing of a cinnamon roll, maple donut, cruller donut, and almond croissant was the maple donut and least favorite was the cinnamon roll). There is a lot of seating outside the cafe and everyone working there is really nice. read more

During our stay at Paradise, the main dining room was closed so this is really the only place to eat at the Inn. They are only open a few hours in the morning. They have a variety of pre-packaged food and drink, plus a coffee bar. Prices are outrageous for the quality of food. Coffee prices are slightly higher than Starbucks. We got lattes two days in a row, which were lukewarm. Staff were friendly, but it seemed a bit understaffed since most everyone staying at the Inn is frequenting the Cafe as the only place to go. Is it better than nothing? Yes. But it's disappointing to be the only option at Paradise, with limited selection and not very unique foods. read more

Don't take apple pay, chick at the register was extremely rude, with zero people skills. All i got was the total and no acknowledgement to anything I ordered. Busy as heck I get it's stressful but atleast have some manners 0/10. overpriced as shit. read more

It's the only game in town right in this area and you're subject to the desires and time taking of all the other guests. We were stuck behind a daily that took 15 minutes to order, which wasn't ideal. But they have decent baked goods, if a small selection, and my latte was pretty good, if a bit too foamy and more of a cappuccino. The staff is friendly and helpful and VeRY patient under the circumstances. The lunch stuff is pre-prepared, so wouldn't be my first choice if I'm going and eating in, although it's good for taking on the trail. read more

I bought a cup of Americano coffee this morning. It tasted hardly coffee. I would call it coffee flavored water. 6 oz for $3 after tax. I am not a regular coffee drinker, which means I normally prefer light coffee. I would give their service 3 stars. read more

So they apparently have a veggie wrap but they won't give it to you because they have to get it from inside. They tell you this after you waited 30 mins in the long line. I tell them I am vegetarian and they say you can pick the cesar salad, which had fish. Also their salad only had lettuce and cheese, what kind of salad is that!! I know my review won't matter, coz it their monopoly. No matter how much it sucks, people have no option but to eat here. The service is very friendly and fast and menu items are great for a quick snack. They also have small outdoor patio where you can enjoy your meal. read more

I'm giving this little nook five stars bc it is the only game in town at the top of Mt Rainer. It is what it is. There is a decent breakfast and lunch sandwich selection and most importantly, they are open early for coffee. The staff are nice and there is more than enough here to get by at the top of this snowy mountain in June with tons of snow on the ground!'n read more

I had a bowl of buffalo chili and a peanut butter chocolate bar. The chili was good and the chocolate bar was tasty. We took our food and sat in the big room near the cafe next to some windows, which was quite nice. The chocolate bar was a bit pricey at around $7.00 including tax but I suppose that's the price you pay for good food in a remote setting. Rating this place at 3.5 stars would be more accurate since my husband's sandwich was just OK, but I've decided to round up since I'm the first one to review this place. The other baked goods looked yummy as well. I would definitely try another type of baked good next time I'm in the area. read more

I ordered 2 Tatoosh Club sandwiches off the menu but was told all that is available is currently in the cooler. I asked for a large Sierra Mist and was told that the soda machine was broken. So I picked up a turkey sandwich and two cream cheese filled bagels instead. We sat down and ate the turkey sandwich which was pretty good.
