This place is the vibe! Great coffee and tasty food. The staff is welcoming. Every coffee shop complaint I have is this.. people there solo should consolidate tables so others can enjoy the space as well. read more

My friends who live in Bonney Lake took me here for breakfast this morning. Very cute interior with more seating/space than I initially realized, as it goes further back than the front room that you enter in. Ordered a sugar free hazelnut latte and the pesto breakfast sandwich, and I thoroughly enjoyed both! My only complaint is not seeing prices listed on the menu. Staff were kind and friendly! Would come here again when visiting my friends! read more

What a great little coffee house! It's absolutely adorable inside, it has a lot of seating and even a little private room for maybe working or studying. I ordered the Vermont latte (1/2 sweet) and my sister and I shared a raspberry roll. They ended up giving us 2 of the raspberry rolls because they were small (how nice) and oh man were they good! They had the perfect ratio of the raspberry flavor and the icing and they were nice and soft! The Vermont coffee was delicious and I will be ordering that again! I already can't wait to visit Washington again just to go to Anchor House. read more

First time visiting. Very quaint coffee house, literally converted house. Service is friendly. Plenty of open communal seating, plan on sharing a table if you're solo. However great for meeting others and engaging in conversation. Coffee is good and they are supporting a good cause. read more

This is my local coffee shop, it's my go to when I hang out with friends. I am very happy to have a specialty coffee shop in this little farmer-esque town. they have pretty fun seasonal drinks as well as a few regular specialty drinks. Their pastries aren't limited per say, but the variety isn't too huge. However, they have a lot of cookie options and bun options. They're not the most aesthetic pastries but they're pretty good, which is all you could really ask for. I've tried their salted bourbon latte and wasn't the biggest fan. But most of the other drinks that I've tried I've liked. I wouldn't say that the flavors pop out at you but the atmosphere and homey vibe keeps me coming back. It could've been a bit more cozy, the all white aesthetic isn't for me, but regardless it's nice and someone else's vision so I respect it. It's not too loud so you can still study here, but it's also not so quiet where you feel awkward to chat. The seating is a little limited, in the sense that single tables are scarce. It's mainly long community tables, which can be a little nerve wrecking for introverts but at least there is a decent amount of seating. They also sell plants from a separate vendor. There are plants, vases, and little trinkets. This coffee shop has a great purpose and mission statement, a lot of proceeds go to end human trafficking. This is a great shop to visit if you want a funky flavor of coffee (or a basic one), if you want to sit in and chat, or if you want to buy a plant; all while supporting a good cause. read more

Such a cool place! Came here with some buds, as we found a little gem of a place to grab a bite for breakfast, but didn't offer much by way of coffee, so on a local search we went... and this had some good reviews so why not? An absolute gem of a place. The coffee was superb, the atmosphere was perfect, and you can tell it was a trendy local spot. It gave me and the buds a chance to sit out of the cold and shoot the breeze. Seen people sitting in corners reading books (they have a small library), folks pecking away at their keyboards, and others gathered around tables conversing. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures, maybe next time. Either way, doesn't change the recommendation of this place and hope to be back! Until then, as always, Enjoy & Happy Sipping! read more

LUVV this place, we exclusively buy beans from them and always meet here when friends wanna meet, there's a lot of options and variety for seating with a bigger area and two smaller rooms. The baristas are super kind and knowledgeable except one lol. Overall def recommend if you're in town read more

I am in love with this coffee shop!! Everything about it was great. Looks like it was established in an old house, and it really gives it that homey-feel. Delicious coffee and breakfast food. The smoked bacon burrito was FIRE - so flavorful and filling. Salsa was the perfect compliment. Enough to eat for one person or to share between two. Great drinks. Their special cold brew (I believe it was a blueberry?) was great. Their bourbon mocha was also good - definitely heavy on the bourbon flavor. Lots of great seating options. Since it's a house, multiple different rooms. Front room has some super comfy couches, there's a tiny library area with comfy chairs, and a back area good for groups. Everyone here is super friendly and efficient. Hands down recommend coming here. You won't be disappointed! read more

Love the ambiance here and the service is always so great! The coffee is amazing quality and the pastries are delicious. Been on a blueberry kick lately, and this blueberry cold brew really hit the spot. Love their bacon breakfast burrito. Was a little disappointed at first glance because it seemed small, but it packed to the brim with all the goodies. Quality definitely made up for it, and it was super filling. A very pleasant and peaceful coffee shop with lots of seating nooks and space to sit, study and work. Came to work for the afternoon and I enjoyed my visit, coffee was a bit too sweet for my preference, but nevertheless a good experience. I tried the seasonal Honey Ginger latte and got a croissant. read more

I love this spot! Not only is it the most beautiful space, the people are so warm and friendly AND the drinks/eats are top notch. They're a wonderful addition to the Buckley community and they're committed to being of service, with a portion of their proceeds going to Love Justice Intl; a non-profit with the goal to end slavery. I love me a versatile coffee shop space, and there aren't many in this area so Anchor House is a sanctuary for me. Whether it's a first date, business meet up, catching up with a friend or family member, this cozy spot is perfect. And I love that it's a roastery as well, so you can actually see where the coffee is made. They carry a lot of really amazing products besides coffee, like loose leaf tea and even fresh flowers. The best part is that the baristas truly care about putting effort into every cup of coffee they serve . This is a coffee shop game at its finest. If you are going for a hike in the area, stop here first for your caffeine fix, you will not regret it! read more

Came here after a recommendation from a friend and am so thankful I did! Gorgeous location perfect for a quick stop or to stay and work or spend time with loved ones. The menu is simple and easy, plus they have irresistible seasonal options. So many pastries to accompany your drinks. Loved the alternative milk options-- I think there were four? I got the salted bourbon maple latte with oat milk, and took a pumpkin cheesecake loaf (gluten-free!) to go. I can't get over the flavors in the latte. Typically seasonal lattes are so sweet, but this has the perfect amount of bold flavor and just a touch of sweetness. It's perfect. I'm just passing through but will definitely be back next time I'm in the area! read more

Oooh boy! Was this coffee shop a real treat! Situated in downtown Buckley this very charming coffee shop offers some great coffee drinks and pastries! They had holiday coffee drink menu that Steve and I ordered from. Steve had a fantastic eggnog coffee drink that I loved! I had a latte I believe with bourbon and maple in it which was excellent as well! And of course the pastries are always my favorite! I had a great pecan roll that I took home to enjoy the next day but while I was there the cookie I had was very good and so very moist and chewey! If they aren't made on site then they don't travel very far before the reach the coffee shop! We also bought a bag of coffee to take home. It's good quality and wonderful to wake up to! read more

If I could give 15 stars I would. We drive out of the way to come. Our family loves this coffee shop. Anchor House is bright, cheerful and welcoming. It's beautifully decorated. The employees are top notch, make an excellent Americano (my favorite), friendly and kind. The gluten free offerings are the best I've had. My children love the non-gluten free options as well. Did I mention chips and salsa? Simply delicious. Give Anchor House a try you won't be disappointed. read more

Awesome new shop in Buckley! Grew up in this town and this neighborhood gathering place has been missing for awhile. Stopped in after work to read for a bit and the staff was super knowledgeable about everything they sell. The roast their own coffee in the back and have a good selection of local pastries with the best gluten free options on the plateau. Really hope this place thrives. When I was in on a Wednesday morning there was a large group of moms with kids, a few couples, and some business people working in the quieter back room. Very clean bathrooms too. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town or headed up to the mountain. read more

Cute place and the service was good. Downside is they were very busy, and I was forced to sit at a table that is actually meant as a side table. Looks cute but not functional for a tall gal like myself. read more

I will say first the building & inside has a really great feel. On the other hand I didn't feel very welcomed some of the employees were kind of cold, one was very sweet I wish I got her name she asked a male worker recommendations & he acted like he couldn't be bothered. I was also skipped over in line like I wasn't even standing there but I wasn't in a rush so I didn't think it was that big of a deal.I did get a chai because of the reviews but it wasn't my thing while it sat there for a bit some of the employees kept looking at me until finally someone said it was mine. I ended up getting a coco which didn't get the difference back from the chai to coco not a big deal. I just wish my experience was a little better seeing how some of us are locals not just a one time thing & this will leave an off putting impression on me that makes me think of probably not coming back. read more
