I learned about Grounds for Change a few months ago when a friend sent me a bag of Agate Pass blend. The coffee was the best! Since then I've ordered online three times. The Grounds for Change website is easy to use, and it describes the different coffee blends in very persuasive terms. The coffee selection is outstanding, and the orders ship quickly; I've received every one in just a few days, even though I live across the country! I also like the effort Grounds for Change makes to be both environmentally- and humanly-conscious. Visit the website to learn more about what the company does to sustain natural resources and collaborate with the small farmers (often women) who grow the coffee.

Our creperie customers love these blends.

Grounds For Change is the coffee that got me off lattes and onto drinking drip coffee. Every variety I've tried has been great.

We popped into Caffe Cocina at the perfect time and just about beat the crowd. However, the line piled up quick and made it feel crowded inside. There is a lot of indoor seating, but it's more of a sit down cafe than a quick latte to go. We both ordered a matcha latte, delicious. The staff were friendly and fast once we ordered. They also have milk alternatives which is nice.

So if it's a mocha and 12 ounces it's $.62 for the cup and if it's a latte and 12 ounces it's 54. Same size cup, which is very odd to be charging If someone's looking at their receipt and asking questions, it's gonna slow the line down and probably add stress for the cashier as well as possible negative energy Just sharing the data points I think they should streamline this. I like that they don't want to waste, but at least almost everybody even who's drinking inside has plastic so it's a little confusing. If you ask for a glass of water, they will charge you a dollar but if you get it in glass and drink while you're on site, there is no charge Again, I appreciate that they are trying to reduce plastic for the to go water, but doesn't make any sense to me because I'm seeing plastic drinks inside the restaurant Also, I asked if I got a ice latte if it came in a bigger cup because otherwise you're getting less of a latte. A lot of places give you a bigger cup for 12 ounce latte since they're adding an ice but they don't do that here. Mocha was not hot. Coffee was so so. Barista was great. Cashier a bit annoyed with the questions. But I can understand her position especially as line begins.

I tried the gluten-free trailblazer cookie, and it was absolutely delicious. Loved all the additions to it to make it a more robust cookie. I also had the lavender latte which was tasty and not too strong a lavender taste.

In short Great roaster with the deepest imaginable local…read moreroots. In long There are tons of warehouses along Bickford these days, and if you turn down in and zigzag around a bit, you find a fantastic local coffee wholesaler with a retail outlet right here. They have a big lineup and unbelievable prices. Just the nicest people, too. I have been hearing good things about them for a while and meaning to stop in. I was finally able to combine this with some other errands yesterday. It's a small storefront with a few shelves and a big counter area. Not a coffee shop to sip a mug--a place to buy beans. There's a big sign on the wall explaining the exact roast level for each bag of beans they offer. You can order online and pick up, or you can walk in to buy. They have a bunch of blends that do really well. I avoid blends; I want the different flavors of single-origin stuff. I'm thinking now I should have realized that the rave reviews I see for this place are for the blends. I tried the Kenya, which the owner was proud to explain is their highest-rated offering. It's a good coffee, but not single-origin in the sense that they note how it was processed and where it was grown. They just give you the country. That's still an enormous step up from where coffee was when I was a kid, and it's an impressive effort for coffee that's a mere $11/lb. The big sign on the wall said this was a medium roast, and what's in the mug is very smoky and dark. Too much for my tastes, but I'm glad to have finally tried this place. I'm looking forward to trying the other beans and finishing all this up.

They have a very helpful staff and they have decades of experience. Their coffee is fantastic and the only coffee we buy. It's a big step up from anything at the grocery store or big box retailer. It's easy to get to off the north end of Bickford Road near Sound to Summit Brewery.
