sadly a deeply mediocre experience. took absolutely forever (in part because there was only one guy working the whole shop, which isn't feasible when you are trying to serve hot food AND make drinks) and the food/coffee was mid and overpriced. i had an avocado toast (and even asked if they use fresh avocado, to which they said yes)...it was ice cold pre-packaged avocado atop cold bread. for $7.50!! my husband ordered the ham breakfast sandwich which came lukewarm. all this after we waited about 15 minutes. and again, i feel for the guy who was clearly running this place by himself. but they're just trying to do too much. coffee was also pretty mid, another $5 latte prepared without much care or attention. just fizzy oat milk dumped into a cup. when it's $30 + tip for breakfast and coffee for two to-go, i'd just expect a lot more. also, i see a lot of other people like the ambiance?? very confused by this, it's just another textbook standard gentrified coffee shop with an expensive letterboard, industrial lighting, and metal chairs. read more

I found this place via inKind rewards. The space itself is very cute with lots of great seating options. Parking was easy to find out front. I tried the gluten-free trailblazer cookie, and it was absolutely delicious. Loved all the additions to it to make it a more robust cookie. The place is a gem I found on my twice a month trip for my skincare. I treat myself to coffee and toast I need a treat. I got the Deluxe avocado toast and an americano and both were fantastic. The baristas Kierra & Jonathan are personable and remember me each time I come in. This coffee spot has private work spaces for the residents that live in the building, plenty of seating, clean bathrooms and a cozy fireplace corner. I went here for a quick coffee break on Tuesday morning and ordered the winter spiced latte. The flavors are subtle but still pretty good, and not much more expensive than the regular latte. It is a bit on the sweeter side due to the white chocolate but makes it up in the flavor. Latte art here is excellent. Lots of space to enjoy the coffee and/or do some work as there is an adjacent seating area of an apartment lobby that people seem to take their coffee there to enjoy. read more

Friendly, efficient staff and yummy coffee beans! Came in during a weekday and it wasn't busy, and there was one spot available for parking on the street. Lots of seating, hard chairs, couch, leather chairs, and barstools. They have coffee, non-coffee options for drinks. They have some food to order from menu and a pastry case. They have 1-2 gluten free options in their bakery case. The music is a little loud for my preference but I saw folks were still able to visit during their stay. The orange hazelnut pinwheel warmed up was beyond delicious and I would definitely come back for their pastries and coffee. They have merchandise to purchase. read more

I came here with my granddaughter. Curious to see how the morning drinks and coffee are, as we walk by the Shoreline sculptures here. As we arrive, there is no counter help. Since it is slow, it appears the barista goes in the back to wait for customers. In the past, they refused my order because I was paying cash. A small handwritten note on the register showed they are now accepting cash. I ordered a chai latte and a ham breakfast sandwich. They also offer a number of unique custom drinks and pastries. But food and drinks to me, are not their strong point. I had a mediocre tall chai for 5.00. and a sad breakfast sandwich. However, many strong points. This is really an office space where you come to work. There is no loud music here. There is a meeting room, with a door that closes in the back. Numerous Small areas closed off for working. Two Clean, spacious bathrooms. One with baby changing Station. Potted plants throughout. A lovely fireplace corner. One of the best office working areas I have seen. Looks like they encourage lingering and working. If I was working remotely, this would be an ideal place to spend extended hours here, with my computer. They do close at 3 pm, so be sure to get in here early. read more

I stayed at the apartments right across the street from Pilgrim Coffee for a week while working remotely, and let me just say--was so grateful that this spot was there. There is just nothing better than waking up, breathing in that fresh Seattle air, and strolling over for a morning latte that just sets the tone for the day. Will never take the simple things for granted, especially before a hectic work day. The coffee shop in Shoreline itself is spacious and fairly empty, which I appreciate when I'm on a morning work grind--the peace and quiet is appreciated. The lattes? Delicious. The coffee is rich, smooth, and clearly made with care. The people behind the counter are even better, love being able to chat and get to know one another--exactly the kind of vibe you want to start your day. One of the best parts is the built-in work space with private rooms attached. The space is pretty new and tucked inside a housing development, so it feels like a hidden VIP space. If you are looking for a quieter coffee shop in the area where you can take meetings or actually be able to work at a table, this place is it. Keep in mind that parking is very limited as the apartment complex is quite tight, there is street parking right across the space but can be slightly hard to look for parking.
