I love that I can order my beans for pick-up at their headquarters or have it delivered to my doorstep and no in-store beans will ever be able to compare to Dillanos! But I quickly became frustrated with the results; even after a week trying different doses, tamping pressure, extraction length, etc., I couldn't get something that wasn't bitter or watery. Then I read that it was important to use freshly roasted beans. After checking the reviews on Yelp, I decided to drive over to Caffè Lusso. The person there was very friendly, and recommended one of their coffee beans which were roasted the day prior. After purchasing the beans, I immediately drove home to try them out. And the results I got, first time, were fantasic! It turns out my prior issues were due to the 4+ month old beans from that big name coffee shop!
