    Outside Patio with Live Music

I had a great time staying here in Packwood. I didn't know anything about this place before coming here. So my way of getting to know a new town is to find the local brewery. Packwood Brewing not only makes a great beer, they have good food, live music and a nice outdoor patio area. I was staying at a hotel within walking distance and came over here to grab a bite one evening. The crowd outside was chill and there was a live band playing some music. I ordered a Mountain Goat Coffee Porter and some food while listening to some tunes. Packwood Brewing Co. has some great options on their food menu. The tacos sounded really good, so I ordered some. I ended up ordering different protein choices for each of my tacos. Most of the food here is rice bowls and Mexican food. Packwood Brewing has both an indoor and outdoor bar for ordering beers. There are a number of picnic tables outside to sit on which brings a community feel to this place. If you like ice cream, Packwood Brewing has an Airstream that sells ice cream in the beer garden. I ordered a Salted Caramel Swirl to cap off my night here.

Great stop is you're exploring the Rainier area. I just don't know why they aren't open for lunch more days than weekends! The inside is really cool, service is quick and food is excellent. There is also an ice cream trailer on the patio that was a good ending to an excellent lunch.

I ordered a steak bowl. Food was decent but seems a little overpriced for the portions I received. Small bowl and not very much steak. I also had to order my food at bar. Pick up my food when it was ready. And throw my bowl away and put glass in a tub. Not sure what I tipped for. The atmosphere was nice. Cute rustic building. There was a woman playing a guitar and singing. Place was busy seemed clean.

Solid spot coming off or going up the mountain. Great beer selection. Love the nacho platters Enjoyed having the growler later on that evening. Quick service, with a smile!

All things considered...pretty good place for simple fare and good beer. It is expensive for what you get, but it's one of only a few places in town. We stopped here for a bite while on our way out to camp. Had nachos and a few pints, nice outside area where pups are welcome. I'll be back for sure!

An absolute gem in downtown Packwood! I love the atmosphere, beer, and food. The views of Mt. Rainier from the beer garden are great. The beer garden has a fire pit and ice cream trailer. The Poblano Chicken Quesadillas and Steak Rice Bowls came in clutch after long days of hiking. I can't recommend enough!!

Love this place! Have been here a handful of times now. The place is really nice inside, plus the patio when it's nice out! With a bar outside too I have seen open in the summer times. Food was great both times I've ate there. This last time we got tacos and quesadilla which were great portions. Service was great, asking questions about what beer to choose they were very helpful.

Very disappointed. Good beer. Bad food. We expected a burgers & pulled pork lunch menu with this environment. Their white person's attempt at the unexpected Mexican food menu was a bland miserable failure especially when you realize there's actually a real Mexican restaurant a few doors down.

Great beer, friendly staff, beautiful rustic cabin feel. We loved the hazy ipa. Outside food was welcomed.

This place is awesome! Especially when there is live music on the patio! Love the view, the beer, and the feel of this place. Really awesome service. Willing to get several sizes of shirts and sweatshirts. Fast knowledge of drinks and food. Recommend visiting if in town.

Their food is mostly Mexican food. You are better off going to the Mexican restaurant next door, Nachos Restaurant. Avoid. Not worth it.

You order at the counter, then they will call your name when the food is ready. It appears that, except for the beans and rice, everything is cooked to order. Seating is limited to a handful of booths. In addition, if the weather's good, there are several tables outside. We ordered the #9 shrimp combo and the #16 Carne Asada Plate. It took about ten minutes for our food. It came in Styrofoam containers with foil-wrapped tortillas. Everything was hot and fresh. The food was very good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. The skirt steak was tender. The beans were a bit thin but delicious. The portion sizes appeared a bit small for the price. More rice and beans would have been nice. Overall, we enjoyed the food and would eat there again when in the area.

It's a gas station diner so you'll expect nothing but poor quality but, I was surprised when I decided to leave instead of buying another one. The portion is fair and the price is what caught me off guard. A breakfast burrito has rarely cost more then eight dollars in my recent purchases but, today I was inspired to pay for quality. The service is still just a local gas station so no velvet rope's here.
