The price was very reasonable, I think about $12 (August 2026). There was plenty of parking and outdoor seating, I will plan to stop at the same place next time we visit the area!

They have fun little gifts as well as a good snack selection. You can also get ice cream here which is fun. We usually come by here to grab drinks for the cabin and that was the case again this time. We were able to grab milk and they have a nice selection of wine as well. All of the cashiers that we've encountered have also been really nice. Overall this is a great little market stop if you're in need of some odds and ends when in Ashford/Elbe!

They have everything from clothing to jewelry to chocolate to wine and lots of unique trinkets as well. I loved the trains inside, especially the one with the Dachshund. If you need a gift, you would be hard pressed not to find one here. We made sure to get a yummy ice cream cone and eat it on the Bigfoot benches out front. They also have a giant bigfoot statue that you can take a photo with. This is a definite must do if you're in the area.

If I had found the Happy Piggy earlier I probably would have stayed in the state an extra week. The loompiah (please forgive my spelling) is the best thing I've ever eaten in a roll. The Kahluah pork (again, sorry) is the most tender thing I've ever eaten. The spam musubi is the perfect pocket and road snack. Do yourself a favor and stop here.

Let's just say simple fast friendly service! A cozy little shack with two windows, the friendliest baristas you'll ever meet, and so many choices. I can't even list them all. From hot lattes to iced lattes, Italian sodas, and sweet treats ranging from muffin tops to cookies and even brownies too. They have complementary cards where after nine purchases you get a free drink. You can bring your own cup and they'll even wash it for you and fill it up with whatever drink they make for you. The prices are very reasonable and you'll be in and out very quickly. The baristas are always very happy and remember all of us on the first name basis and they even remember what drink you order if you're a regular like I am. They are usually open from 4:30 in the morning till 6 o clock at night except for the winter hours when they close earlier. So if you're ever hopping between Eatonville, and Puyallup on Meridian East.... Stop by and see them. They occupy the same parking lot as Barney's Corner. Oh.... and if you're a Pokémon GO fan... they are legit Pokémon Go Gym thanks to me making that happen.

I ventured off to the fruit stand to buy some cheap baskets of surprisingly amazing quality fruit. The food came out reasonably fast for what we ordered. I can't say much about the service, as it's a walk up window style establishment that doesn't have indoor dining. It's actually pretty small, with barely enough room for the workers and all their supplies. Hats off to those people for making it happen! So yeah, not much customer service besides the ordering and pickup. They all seemed fairly professional and pleasant, in my opinion. Was the food worth it? Yes. The prices were okay not cheap, but not pricey either. I got a decent amount of food for what I paid. My burger wasn't very pretty, but it had a nice balance of simple flavors. I devoured it about as fast as I could. The fries were super salty, crunchy, and mushy all at the same time, and I loved it. We devoured those also... what a meal. I'd recommend stopping here for food if you're in the area. We all enjoyed our time and our food. Hopefully, you do too!

I had to drive through Elbe today so I figured I'd treat myself to Scale Burgers on my way through…read more That was a sad mistake. I ordered a legal burger, onion rings and special sauce to dip them into. I paid $17.83 and rounded up to $20 for the tip. I got the bag and kept it closed to keep the heat in until I got to my destination. I got 6 onion rings ya'll. 6. The order is $5.99. So $1 per ring. And no sauce. Yes, nothing to dip these crusty rings that taste like burnt grease. I said please and thank you and was nice. Idk why they withheld my sauce and expected me to choke these things down with no lubrication. It's unfortunate. The burger was meh. I called them and explained not receiving the sauce and the burnt grease rings and that I just wanted my tip returned, as this experience was not above and beyond, and that's what tips are supposed to be for. The person who answered the phone told me that they don't do refunds over the phone, but I explained I just wanted my tip edited to zero, I didn't want a refund of the order, I want to pay for the food, just nothing extra. The person enunciated that if I want to call in and complain I should be prepared to drive back to the restaurant. I let them know that I was disappointed and that I'm not going to be driving back for the difference and that I wouldn't be returning back ever for food and thank you. As I pulled the phone from my face to end the call I could still hear them talking. I think the staff could benefit from some customer service training. I also think that if you have a restaurant in the middle of nowhere you should triple check the orders so that people get everything they paid for. Especially when your portion sizes are tiny. AND CHANGE YOUR DAMN GREASE. Lesson to me: Never stray from Out & About.
