We told her we were happy to wait and even asked to add a macaron from the self-serve fridge to our bill to enjoy in the meantime. Her response? An angry glare, prolonged eye contact, an eye roll, and walking away. We were perfectly understanding about the wait. What we weren't expecting was to be treated like an inconvenience for simply wanting to dine there. If the goal was to make customers feel unwelcome, Ysabelle absolutely delivered. The food is great, but the first interaction with your restaurant shouldn't make you regret walking through the door. Management seriously needs to address this.
