    Filipino spaghetti

Super delicious Filipino food just across from Westfield Southcenter. I was craving some Filipino BBQ but got tires of the dry BBQ pork at Grill City (they used to be super good but gotten worse and worse) and saw this restaurant recommended by Google and decided to give it a try and it was so good. Everything we ordered was crazy delish. You bis and clean your own table afterwards and utensils and water are self-serve. Plenty of parking when we dined there. A lot of takeout orders too. Two thumbs up!

Dinugs with rice-$6.50. It is delicious and savory. So good!

I love coming here when I can. I usually come here with my brother. This is our thing to do for fun. Everything on the menu looks very tempting. However, our favorite is always the "diniguan". If you know, you just know! Service is fast and always good. We live the halo-halo and the Gilman with sago. Anyway, prices are good as well. It's a drive from Edmonds but worth it. We just can't resist the temptation of yummy Filipino foods we grew up with. Have you tried Filipino food? If you haven't, start with some basics and find them here. Go! Plenty of parking space. Friendly and very yummy foods.

Okay okay. You mught be thinking "Why go to a Filipino restaurant and get kbbq???" well lemme say, pasensya na po. I honestly came here more for the soup because i was craving it more!!! You can come to this restaurant and order the moment you get in. Yes, there is a little wait-however, this is the kind of place where the WAIT IS WORTH IT. Everything is cook to perfection and everything here never fails to make me dance! They also cater! I had some desserts and a fee other items from here to be catered on my 18th debut back in November-everything came fresh as expected! The service is quick and polite! The ambiance is very family oriented and chill-with favorites of classic filipino music!

I was disappointed, most of the things we wanted are out and service was slow and you have to buss your on table. If I wanted to do all that, I'd get fast food instead. Let's just say I wouldn't come back! Food was nothing special in my opinion.

Spring roll with sautéed veggies topped with peanut sauce and diced eggs

We are here for lunch; ordered lechon Kawali, fresh lumpia roll, and halo halo. Restaurant located at strip mall by Westfield mall. There menu consists of a lot of BBQ and meat dishes. No fresh veggies. The lumpia /spring roll was with sautéed veggies covered with peanut sauce and diced hard boiled eggs. It was a fairly big portion. My date ordered the lechon, came with 1.5 cup white rice and sautéed veggies (cabbage/carrots) and soup. The lechon is crispy and moderate portion size. The soup was vinegary,I thought it was a bit too sour for my liking, but my date enjoyed it. Halo halo was refreshing, wished they had more fixings than ice. Topped with ice cream, ube and jackfruit. I felt it needed more flavor. Would come again to try other dishes and desserts when I crave a home cooked meal. Wished they had more vegetable dishes or healthier dishes. The person that helped us was new and was not familiar with the register and the menu

Manila Sunset recommended to us for their Halo Halo. And my friends, this indeed the best place to come for Halo Halo in the Southern part of King County. Their halo halo is filled with jellies, beans, flan, ube ice cream and lots of goodness. You can never go wrong with the Halo Halo here. Highly recommend the Lumpia Shanghai here too. The inside is never dry and just the right flavorings. There are not too many filipino places I have been where I crave their lumpia or would go out of my way to get. But I would from Manila Sunset. And that says a lot as someone who always has homemade lumpia in her freezer. I really enjoy the Arroz Caldo. It is everything I yearn for in a comforting bowl of rice soup fiiled with aromatics like ginger, juicy pieces of chicken and topped with fried garlic and hard boiled egg. All you need is a squeeze of fresh lime or lemon, & no matter who cooks mine - I always want a splash of patis (fish sauce) in my bowl. This is my favorite place for filipino bbq. Manila Sunset is hands down much better than anything else in the area (aka those places in SouthCenter). Their bbq sticks (both pork and chicken) are tender, moist and perfectly marinated. Honestly, I haven't had a bad dish here. Some I definitely love more than others but overall, this is a place where I can come and feel like I am getting a home cooked meal without having to do the cooking and cleaning myself. Filipino Food is hard to replicate, because so many of us were taught by our mom and aunties who never had a recipe and only cook by sight, touch, taste and love. Dishes can vary so much from one cook to another. But Manila Sunset just hits all the notes for me. Service here is always spot on. The employees are friendly and never miss a beat with great service. The prices are very reasonable and some of the best you will find in the area. Call ahead for take out. It will ensure that you are not waiting a long time for your order. Some days it can be a 20 minute wait or so.

We stopped by for lunch and were pleased with what we ordered. They have a decent selection of Filipino favorites. You order at the window and they bring it out to your table. We were satisfied and would eat there again.

I've been to a few locations of Manila Sunset and this location is by far the worst. Stopped by for lunch since I saw it was close to where I was and I miss eating at Manila Sunset in National City and Mira Mesa locations. Food: Goto Tokwat Baboy Longsilog (Tupac liked i After tasting my dishes, I was highly disappointed that I ordered another plate to go, Liempo (grilled pork.) The TokWat Baboy is the WORST dish I've ever eaten at Manila Sunset (all locations.) Goldilocks is much better. The Goto was ok. Not a fan of the meat. I wish I stuck with the Aroz Caldo that I originally wanted to order. With that said, I hated the dishes I ordered for myself that I ordered the Liempo. That too was just ok. TIP: I wanted Lechon Kawali but was told it's on certain days. Did I miss a sign stating that? Bummer that this experience was a negative one.

This was the first time I tried this place as I saw on IG that the food was rated highly. Yep never believe IG again. The service was not good. I informed the cashier it was our first time and asked for recommendations. So we got the Manila pork bbq plate, pancit and fried lumpia. They charge you 3.5% to pay by CC. Shocking! When the food came the Filipino fried lumpia was a Chinese veggie egg roll. The pancit looks like Mac n cheese. The pork bbq plate was the only thing that taste decent. Even tho it's like bacon strips pork. Worst experience ever. The restaurant is a whole in the wall. Granted some are good but not this place. The bathroom had no paper or air to dry your hands. Mismatch decoration. It's definitely a fast food place. AVOID AT ALL COST

Friendly service and phenomenal food! We had the BBQ Chicken and Pork, as well as the fresh lumpia. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I'll definitely be coming back.

We've been here several times, in every occasion food and service are great! The owners are very courteous and friendly. The place is small compared to other Filipino restaurants. I love the fresh lumpia, taho and bibingka. Will definitely recommend this place.

The BBQ skewers here are good and that's what my boyfriend's mom gets for us whenever she is in the area. The kare kare here was pretty meh and definitely not worth the price. The pancit was decent but I definitely make it better so not worth getting. Located in the Renton Shopping Center near Fred Meyer, this buffet has really surpassed the test of time. I remember coming here when I was a kid during important family events, however I think the last time I came was around 10 years ago! I think it's pretty safe to say that things have remained consistent over the past many years. To be honest, I'm not a big buffet person - I feel like the quality of the food is often traded for quantity and at my big age I really cannot force myself to eat more than like 2-3 plates of food anymore. But I will say, Feast definitely exceeded my expectations! It has a lot of great asian choices, as well as options for children/people with different palates! I've was a huge fan of the sushi/seafood options, especially the salmon sashimi they had. It was SO fatty I had so many bowls of it. There wasn't really anything that disappointed me, though the crab/lobster line was long (as expected). Staff were kind, and were pretty consistent in clearing out my table and I thought everything was pretty clean! Honestly I'm tempted to return (maybe for lunch since it's cheaper) but I do think that Feast Buffet is definitely a gem of Renton.

Feast Buffet or East (not King lol) Buffet?! IYKYK…read more I was on travel to work with a team up in Renton, WA, and they went out for a lunch buffet here during my time up there. I was intrigued at the name Feast Buffet, but moreso because I had been to an East Buffet the previous year close to where I live, hence the first line of this review. Feast Buffet is located in Renton Shopping Center on the west side of Rainier south of Sunset. If you know where the Fred Meyer is here, Feast Buffet is on the opposite end of the plaza. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a rather spacious lobby where you can see a TV that shows the pricing for both lunch and dinner. We went on a weekday at lunchtime, which is the cheapest option at $24.99 per adult. Weekend lunches are almost 50% higher, but the same price as dinner on Mondays thru Thursdays. If our team had gone for dinner on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, we'd be spending an additional $20 more per adult! The lobby also had some nice decor. Even though I posted this review in January (I was on a brief review hiatus), our visit was back in November, and they had some snowmen decor by the right wall as well as a Christmas tree by the check-in counter. The selection is incredible! Much more than what I was expecting that I circumnavigated the buffet area like a labyrinth. I was hoping to start off with salad, but accidentally started off with some cold seafood before I was able to find the salad bar. Don't forget to grab some utensils! They're located by the salad bar. Our team sat at a side dining area akin to a banquet hall with a huge TV on the end closer to the front door. We were on the far corner, and one of the TVs was not functioning, unfortunately. There are three drink dispensers in the beverage section, but I made the mistake of getting a coffee cup for a Pepsi Zero Sugar LOL. There are taller blue cups that I should have gotten instead, but one of my tablemates noticed a leak in her cup and informed a staff member about it. As with any buffet, one of my grievances is that they spread themselves too thin that the quality of some of the foods is sacrificed, and that is the case here, though not nearly as much, fortunately enough. Only the Mac & Cheese was the most forgettable after my first two plates; I probably would have preferred the macaroni sitting on the top layer of the heating well. The fruits were also not fresh, though I can't say I was expecting them to be. Otherwise, most other food items were good enough for buffet standards. As I was getting some sushi, I got some wasabi, but didn't see soy sauce. When I asked a sushi chef where the soy sauce was, he replied that it was on the tables albeit in a rather condescending manner. Okay, so my bad on neglecting to notice the first time, but this is how I get treated as a visitor from out of state?! I got some cuts of meat at the same time, but one of them was full of fat and/or gristle! The noodle bar stood out to me most because I don't ever recall seeing a noodle bar at any other buffet! It's kind of similar to the Mongolian BBQ station where you select your raw toppings and hand them to the chef, who cooks them for you. In the case of this noodle bar, you select from one of four broths: Wonton, Udon, Beef Brisket, and Tonkotsu. Just let the chef know which of these four broths you'd like, and they'll cook it for you! One drawback with this station is that if there are multiple customers' ramen bowls being cooked simultaneously, you may end up grabbing someone other customer's bowl. I also got to try some cotton candy, and that's only because as I was walking by the desserts section, there was an employee finishing up a cotton candy. Since there was no other customer nearby, I simply waited until she handed me the cotton candy. Otherwise, there will be a stand with holes that will hold the cotton candies. And for the (real) dessert, I went with a small bowl of cookies & cream ice cream. I made the mistake of attempting to open a stationary glass panel, thinking it was a sliding door of an ice cream chest LOL. An employee noticed, and I had to tell her which ice cream I wanted, though I also had to ask her what the flavors were since I didn't see any flavor labels. Ice cream was pretty good! Good way to round out a decent lunch buffet! One thing I didn't like was how inconsistently non-punctual they were at picking up plates. I know I shouldn't be comparing, but there was a time when I had three empty plates next to me that weren't picked up! Yet after my first plate, I saw it was taken away when I came back for seconds. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Feast Buffet, and I would prefer Feast Buffet over East Buffet even though I actually gave both the same rating. However, East Buffet is lower than a 4.0, but I'd rate Feast Buffet higher than a 4.0, though not that much higher to earn the 5th star. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a feast of a buffet, look no further than Feast Buffet!
