When I'm craving Filipino food for lunch or something, this has quickly become my go to spot. The line can get long and move a little slow so just having that expectation will really help you. They did recently increase some of their prices but no complaints here. I can get a solid meal and have more than enough for around $15. My favorites dishes are the following: Liempo, grilled pork belly. They chop it for you and if you get the meal it comes with one slice, two scoops of rice and one side. Don't forget to ask for the vinegar when paying. Palabok, rice noodles tossed in a seafood gravy topped with boiled egg & chicharron. I don't know what it is about their Palabok here but it's damn good. No fresh lemon but they do have lemon packets to squeeze on top. Just make sure to ask for it when paying if they don't give it to you. Dinuguan, blood stew with pork & pork innards and best eaten with rice. The dinuguan here is perfectly balanced and seasoned and love it. Ginisang Ampalaya, sautéed bittermelon is my man's fave. He loves bittermelon and sometimes they have it with eggs (his fave) or just with tomatoes and onions. But either way it's good. BBQ Sticks, you can't go wrong with either the pork or chicken but my preference is the pork. Especially when you get a nice fatty piece on your skewer to balance out the lean meat. They make this fresh all day, along with their other grilled meats. Sinigang na baboy, the sinigang is served with plenty of veggies and they definitely do not skimp on the meat either. Sometimes the meat can be a little tough because the pieces are more lean but I'm okay with that. The sabow more than makes up for it. I love my sinigang very sour and while this one is beyond sour it still has a nice flavor and balance to it to please many pallets. I love their lechon here. The skin is crispy, the meat is juicy but their bangnet is a pass for me. It's too crispy and tastes too fried if that is a thing. There are many tables in the open area to sit at if you want to dine in. And if you don't know the name of something that you want, it is okay to point. You can point with your mouth or your finger. There's no judging for that here. Just know that especially on the prepared food the names on the glass don't much line up with the actual dish. Only the names on the grilled section typically line up.

First off, the grilled chicken/pork skewer here is so good and savory! It has been quite sometime coming in here, and I ordered the value meal with the chicken skewer and another entree. I forgot the name of the other entree ordered, but it kind of looked like curry, and it had pork meat in it. That was pretty tasty, too. I mainly came here for the skewers though. But there is so many entrees you can choose and do not worry, they give you lots of rice too! So, nice of them to think of their customers. Grill city can be very busy in here, it'll be lucky if you can find a place to eat. Since, the place is located in the mall and directly in seafood city grocery stores. While you have customers coming to grab food or grocery shopping around you. So it can get very loud and crowded! I would say, give this place a try. There's many Filipino dishes you can try and you might just want to try them all!

A quite surprisingly good fast option for grocery store cafeteria food.. I was honestly really pleased with the quality of food here. We had originally wanted to get Jollibee, but after seeing the line we decided against it and went elsewhere. This was conveniently located inside the grocery store next door, so we decided to come try. I don't get Filipino food that often, so this was pretty exciting for me. We got the bbq pork skewer which came with a huge portion of rice, and chose the rice noodle stir fry as our side. They were super generous with the portion, although I was sad they were out of the chicken adobo. The food itself was great - the pork was tender and had such a yummy sauce, and the rice was somehow so amazingly fragrant and good. The noodles were just ok - a little too much pepper for our taste but not bad by any means. If you're looking for something quick, affordable, and tasty, this is a great spot for some Filipino food :)

I don't know why i just realized that if I'm craving Filipino food, I don't need to drive far and I don't even have to cook! Seafood City is already a must for my grocery needs so why not add Grill City as a stop when going grocery shopping or just whenever I'm hungry! I usually get their pork BBQ. Their pork sinigang (sour soup) is also good! My parents' version is my fave but the sinigang at GC is a close second. Their Bicol Express is surprisingly delicious as well! Their nilaga is just ok though. I'd love to go back over and over until I've tried almost every dish they have! Service is ok. I wouldn't expect anything special so just focus on the food! They mean well, but it's just how it is sometimes!

That's how much I was charged and I do not see any palabok on my order.

GRILL CITY AT SOUTH CENTER MALL I want exactly what's on the Ad posted on top of the counter and what she hand me over was totally different from what I ordered. I calmly repeated myself and politely ask her to give me what I want. She argued and with a high pitch saying " That's what's on the menu! You should've told me that you wanted a noodles!" She was rude and pushed the plate harshly towards me and said " it's already plated!" I was embarrassed. Everyone was looking at me and I was speechless. My friend who was standing next to me suggested to take what she serve and just pay for it. I was forced to order a noodle separately, also I wasn't given a portion or a side of pickle just like what their ad says. I learned from the cashier that the servers name was LORNA the cashier was even afraid to fix my order. Photos are attached so you can clearly see the difference. I was also charged for a palabok. There wasn't a manager around, unfortunately. It's a sad experience, I do not wish these to happen to anyone.

Every time we visit family near Seattle, we make it a point to drop by this area for Filipino food. Been here before but first time to dine for dinner. We ordered pinakbet and grilled mackerel with steamed rice. The pinakbet was good, not too salty, and the mackerel was delicious - moist and not overcooked. The minus stars is because: 1) tables need to be cleaned as soon as a customer is done so others can sit without waiting for an employee to clean it. 2) floors are dirty 3) it's always a long wait to stand in line and order food. Located inside Seafood City Market adjacent to the mall.

I was craving longanisa, and my bf brought me here since he said his parents always eats here and they like it. Well, they didn't have any longanisa... maybe only for breakfast? So, my bf and I both went with the 2-item combo. I got the Kare Kare and Pork Adobo, and he also got the Kare Kare and Pork Menudo. The Kare Kare was an additional $2 upgrade, and was actually my least favorite out of the dishes we got. It came with a little side of the shrimp paste, and I definitely needed that because it was bland without it. A lot of fatty pieces on the beef and pork, but the pork adobo and pork menudo was still decent. Long line; getting the food wasn't too bad, but waiting to pay was what took the most time. Staff is very friendly. Maybe next time I'll try the BBQ skewers.

This place is not bad. It's Filipino food in a supermarket. I gives me authentic vibes of how it would be like to order food in the Philippines, so that's what's drawn me here a few times. What I like here the most is the meat. I got the grilled chicken skewer this time and it was very tasty. Had a bbq grilled flavor. A previous time I got some crispy pork but they didn't have it this time. I also ordered this side dish and they said it was beef and vegetables. Upon closer inspection after I had a chance to sit down with my food, I'm not sure if this is regular beef or some kind of liver so I stopped eating it. If this was a normal restaurant I'd deduct a star. But this place seems to specifically cater towards Filipinos and those who know how to speak the language so I will give them a pass. Come for the meat!!

The line was super long but took even longer to get through. It was really difficult to find seating because the place was packed. The adobo and pork skewers were good. Everything else was pretty bad and didn't seem fresh. Especially the lumpia, pancit, and palabok. I'm Filipino and have eaten plenty of times at Grill City in San Francisco, but the food here just didn't taste right.

Inside seafood city, you will find a long line of Filipinos waiting for food at this restaurant. Great prices and lots of authentic eats. I had to get the pork skewers since they were being cooked as well as the chicken skewers. Halo halo overload had flan, jackfruit, coconut jelly, corn flakes, red bean and more topped with an ice cream scoop of ube with a spring roll filled with ube. So good! I also got to try their bibingka. Not too sweet at all. Pork belly was also good. Service was quick. There's a few tables to sit at. Ambiance is like at the Costco food court since you have to find a table for your group.

Very disappointed with this food joint. Wanted to get the BBQ chicken, though we waited for 30-45 mins, they were keep on preparing the Pork. Not sure whether they ran out of chicken or because of demand. In the end we gave up decide to try Bongus. It was just ok. No salt or flavors. Way overpriced. Service is decent.

Again, it's been years since I last came here, but I was in the area and knew that Manila Sunset was nearby. I suggested to my family that we eat there for lunch. I wish I didn't. The food was delicious, but it would have been nice to have more of it. The portions have been reduced, especially the BBQ dish. I was expecting 4 skewers of meat, but instead got a small pile of pork with 2 huge scoops of rice. The rice is a filler for the pork that they have reduced. We were still hungry, so I had to place another order of food to feed us all and order some additional items, causing me to spend more $ than I thought I would need to. What I do appreciate is their honesty. There is a sign posted at their register that discloses that they have had to go up 10 percent on their prices due to the economy. But they don' tell you that they have also shrunk their portions, so you are paying more for less. Totally get that all the tariffs are out of their control and that they are just trying to survive, but I can't continue to support a business that makes such drastic changes to their food. Conditions have also declined. The silverware in the back was all filthy. It had old food and stains on it and I had to pick carefully to find clean silverware. We had water which was in the dispenser by the silverware. It was gross because there was some kind of debris in all our water. We decided to not drink it. We had a small child with us so I ordered the spaghetti. The gal at the register clearly wasn't familiar with the menu, so she had to go to the back to ask. She quickly came back and told me that they don't do the spaghetti anymore. Ok well update Google and your menu on the board. Disappointed, I accepted the gal's recommendation of the pancit, but that too wasn't very good, and not enough to feed us all. I really hope that Manila Sunset can keep the doors open and I hope the community continues to support them. Unfortunately, I won't be returning for a while after the last experience.

Located in the Renton Shopping Center near Fred Meyer, this buffet has really surpassed the test of time. I remember coming here when I was a kid during important family events, however I think the last time I came was around 10 years ago! I think it's pretty safe to say that things have remained consistent over the past many years. To be honest, I'm not a big buffet person - I feel like the quality of the food is often traded for quantity and at my big age I really cannot force myself to eat more than like 2-3 plates of food anymore. But I will say, Feast definitely exceeded my expectations! It has a lot of great asian choices, as well as options for children/people with different palates! I've was a huge fan of the sushi/seafood options, especially the salmon sashimi they had. It was SO fatty I had so many bowls of it. There wasn't really anything that disappointed me, though the crab/lobster line was long (as expected). Staff were kind, and were pretty consistent in clearing out my table and I thought everything was pretty clean! Honestly I'm tempted to return (maybe for lunch since it's cheaper) but I do think that Feast Buffet is definitely a gem of Renton.

Feast Buffet or East (not King lol) Buffet?! IYKYK…read more I was on travel to work with a team up in Renton, WA, and they went out for a lunch buffet here during my time up there. I was intrigued at the name Feast Buffet, but moreso because I had been to an East Buffet the previous year close to where I live, hence the first line of this review. Feast Buffet is located in Renton Shopping Center on the west side of Rainier south of Sunset. If you know where the Fred Meyer is here, Feast Buffet is on the opposite end of the plaza. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a rather spacious lobby where you can see a TV that shows the pricing for both lunch and dinner. We went on a weekday at lunchtime, which is the cheapest option at $24.99 per adult. Weekend lunches are almost 50% higher, but the same price as dinner on Mondays thru Thursdays. If our team had gone for dinner on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, we'd be spending an additional $20 more per adult! The lobby also had some nice decor. Even though I posted this review in January (I was on a brief review hiatus), our visit was back in November, and they had some snowmen decor by the right wall as well as a Christmas tree by the check-in counter. The selection is incredible! Much more than what I was expecting that I circumnavigated the buffet area like a labyrinth. I was hoping to start off with salad, but accidentally started off with some cold seafood before I was able to find the salad bar. Don't forget to grab some utensils! They're located by the salad bar. Our team sat at a side dining area akin to a banquet hall with a huge TV on the end closer to the front door. We were on the far corner, and one of the TVs was not functioning, unfortunately. There are three drink dispensers in the beverage section, but I made the mistake of getting a coffee cup for a Pepsi Zero Sugar LOL. There are taller blue cups that I should have gotten instead, but one of my tablemates noticed a leak in her cup and informed a staff member about it. As with any buffet, one of my grievances is that they spread themselves too thin that the quality of some of the foods is sacrificed, and that is the case here, though not nearly as much, fortunately enough. Only the Mac & Cheese was the most forgettable after my first two plates; I probably would have preferred the macaroni sitting on the top layer of the heating well. The fruits were also not fresh, though I can't say I was expecting them to be. Otherwise, most other food items were good enough for buffet standards. As I was getting some sushi, I got some wasabi, but didn't see soy sauce. When I asked a sushi chef where the soy sauce was, he replied that it was on the tables albeit in a rather condescending manner. Okay, so my bad on neglecting to notice the first time, but this is how I get treated as a visitor from out of state?! I got some cuts of meat at the same time, but one of them was full of fat and/or gristle! The noodle bar stood out to me most because I don't ever recall seeing a noodle bar at any other buffet! It's kind of similar to the Mongolian BBQ station where you select your raw toppings and hand them to the chef, who cooks them for you. In the case of this noodle bar, you select from one of four broths: Wonton, Udon, Beef Brisket, and Tonkotsu. Just let the chef know which of these four broths you'd like, and they'll cook it for you! One drawback with this station is that if there are multiple customers' ramen bowls being cooked simultaneously, you may end up grabbing someone other customer's bowl. I also got to try some cotton candy, and that's only because as I was walking by the desserts section, there was an employee finishing up a cotton candy. Since there was no other customer nearby, I simply waited until she handed me the cotton candy. Otherwise, there will be a stand with holes that will hold the cotton candies. And for the (real) dessert, I went with a small bowl of cookies & cream ice cream. I made the mistake of attempting to open a stationary glass panel, thinking it was a sliding door of an ice cream chest LOL. An employee noticed, and I had to tell her which ice cream I wanted, though I also had to ask her what the flavors were since I didn't see any flavor labels. Ice cream was pretty good! Good way to round out a decent lunch buffet! One thing I didn't like was how inconsistently non-punctual they were at picking up plates. I know I shouldn't be comparing, but there was a time when I had three empty plates next to me that weren't picked up! Yet after my first plate, I saw it was taken away when I came back for seconds. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to Feast Buffet, and I would prefer Feast Buffet over East Buffet even though I actually gave both the same rating. However, East Buffet is lower than a 4.0, but I'd rate Feast Buffet higher than a 4.0, though not that much higher to earn the 5th star. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a feast of a buffet, look no further than Feast Buffet!
