Pork belly, chicken curry with rice and pancit!
    Jason L.

Every time when I visit the Auburn Collection mall. When it's time for some food, this is my go to place in the food court. I mean there are also other great restaurants at food court as well. Pepa's they are pretty authentic if you want to try like some of the basic Filipino food. Not to mention, that their lumpia is really. I usually get the combo 2 with Rice and pancit, and two entrees you choose. My favorite item is their stir fried pork belly with veggies. It's sooo good. Their chicken curry is pretty good too, as well as the chicken adobo. Overall, a great restaurant for a quick grab if you are hungry while shopping at the mall.

Turo turo combo with dinuguan (pork blood stew), igado (chopped pork creamy dish), and lentil soup. Delicious.

Flavorful, delicious dishes in their turo-turo. Every dish tastes unique, varied, and different (unlike some hot food bars where "all dishes taste the same"). E.g. having two soup options to choose from really elevate the meal. Portion sizes are generous; can feed two people with normal appetite. Friendly staff. Will always be eating here anytime I drive past Auburn at lunch time!

I was shopping at The Outlet Collection in Auburn, and wanted to get something quick to eat at the food court. And then I saw Pepa's Lumpia! Anytime I can get Filipino food I'm all about that life, and Pepa's turned out to be yummy! I saw on a sign at Pepa's that for all of December they have a breakfast special where you can get silog for less than 10 bucks, with your choosing of a protein. I decided to order the Chicken Adobo Silog and the cashier mentioned that there were a ton of other food items that weren't out in the display case because there isn't enough room. But they have every traditional Filipino item you can think of, so I jokingly-but-not-jokingly told her I'd be back for dinner to try the other items. From lumpia, to sisig, to halo halo, they have plenty of options for anyone who loves Filipino food! My Chicken Adobo Breakfast was delicious. The combo comes with garlic rice, fried egg and some pickled veggies on the side. The chicken adobo had good, vinegar flavor that makes adobo so yummy; and I especially loved when the garlic rice got some of the sauce, making it all the more delicious. The fried egg was overcooked, unfortunately, so couldn't eat much of it since it was pretty stiff; but the pickled tomato went well with the rice and chicken. It was an affordable and solid meal! Anytime I am back at The Outlet Collection, I'll definitely make a stop at Pepa's and work my way through the extensive menu. Oh, and did I mention they have SISIG FRIES? If only I could have two stomachs.

    Fresh vegetable lumpia.

I've been by here and looked before, but for whatever reason I never did order anything. Well, I finally changed that today. I ordered the Fresh Lumpia Vegetable...she said there was a lot of sauce and see was right! A little too much for me, but it tastes good. Maybe next time I'm in the mall I'll order something else.

Chicken adobo, 7 piece lumpia and BBQ pork.

Ordered Sisig and it reminded of bicol express and did not even taste like Sisig. Please tell your cook he or she is making it wrong .

The owner is delightful and engages you in conversation as she packs the food . The restaurant is showing its age, but remains one of the remaining soul food restaurants in South King County in Washington. I had the fried catfish, chicken, and fries. The thing about soul food is that it all about the seasonings. Now, I prefer the cornmeal/flour coating over batter; the owner does this well. The catfish was well seasoned and the fish was tender. This is the fine line between frying it until it's as dry as the desert or perfection as was done here. The same was for the chicken wings. Light coating, crunchy, and seasoned well. Now her cornbread is good, but she should throw her fires in the trash. They are overcooked and just a let down to an otherwise nice lunch experience. Since she only does take out or cater, the place looks more like a place of storage than a restaurant. It is quiet with mini refrigerators displaying desserts and soda. Surprisingly, the owner does not serve shrimp. A bit of a surprise and I would quickly get them for lunch if they were prepared as well as the catfish. I would rate higher, and keep in mind the the prices are higher than you would expect but happy to pay again if she smoothes out some of the edges of her space and sides that accompany such wonderful catfish and chicken.

My husband got the farmers breakfast and substituted the biscuits and gravy for the pancakes. He said the gravy was very good and ate most of that leaving the biscuits which he said were too many. I had a Yukon omelette which was absolutely huge and I brought plenty home to have later. It was pretty good but that was the extent of being good. The hash browns were not only over done so they were far to crispy, but so much salt I couldn't eat them. the server brought my toast which was burned and I had to ask for a new piece, she should never have even brought that to the table. Service was fine, they kept our beverage glasses full but the food was just so so. Not sure its worth at trip back.

We also ordered the half and half fried chicken (original and yangnyeom) and it was perfectly crispy and juicy on the inside! My friend enjoyed the spicy seafood stir fry which paired well with a bottle of soju but they also have lots of other drinks (nonalcoholic) to choose from! after a long night out or just for a casual lunch/dinner-- definitely a go to spot for me.

The chicken was satisfying, the rose udon was rich and comforting, and everything paired nicely with the soju. Is it the best Korean food I have ever had? No. But with decent food, good company, and a few drinks, it makes for a genuinely fun night. I would probably come back for the atmosphere and late-night experience, although I am not sure I would specifically crave any one dish.
