Everything we ordered here was so satisfying, but the pork sisig with rice was the standout for me super flavorful, perfectly savory, and just hits all the right notes. I also tried the garlic fried rice with longanisa and eggs, which was really good too. For food, we got the adobo pork belly (comes with macaroni salad, rice, and vegetables on the side) and the pandan fried chicken (comes with rice and veggies on the side). Pandan was super crispy and rice was soft, not mushy. Adobo was rich in garlic and in smoky and sweet flavor. Love they kept the fat on some adobo pieces. Each dish was just enough for us to finish for breakfast. For drinks, we ordered the calamansi juice and calamansi iced tea. Both taste great. Side notes: You order up front, bring your table number, and sit wherever you like. They will bring you your food. Once youre done, please put your food away in the back, which is located on the left hand side of the deli if youre facing the deli at the entryway. It was busy on a Sunday around noon. A few were available but was filled quickly after about half an hour of us arriving. People tend to spend time here. About an hour if youre just there to have a quick meal, but families were gathering and spending time with no rush which i loved. No waitress or waiter to check on you, just only to bring you your food which took a reasonable 2 minutes for drinks and about 10 - 15 for food. Overall, we definitely recommend! read more

Gave it another try - still just okay! The customer service was friendly and accommodating but I was not a big fan of their pancit and lumpia. These are 2 Filipino staples that are hard to mess up but the pancit lacked flavor and the lumpia wrapper was a different taste & texture than a typical lumpia wrapper. One of my favorite Filipino food spots. I always get the Adobo Fried Rice with Egg. You get to choose your style of egg but I go with scrambled. The nice rich flavor of the Adobe is delicious. I also get the Toasted Coconut Waffles. One i love is their nice and crunchy with a great coconut flavor. I've been here several times since they've opened. This is a great spot to hit if you're heading to Carpinito bros for fall! Today we got the crispy pork belly bowl, arrozcaldo, small side of ube pancakes and beef tapa. I didn't try the pork bowl, however it was very crispy looking. The arrozcaldo was good. The tapas were okay, I think they use similar bases for their meat marinades (a touch sweet orange). The pancakes come with ube butter and ube syrup. Overall everything is okay, I think the price points are affordable. Nothing stood out to me personally. The service is direct and limited interactions with staff (go up, order, sit and wait). There's windows all along one side of the restaurant so there's a good amount of natural lighting and you can look out into the street. I really enjoyed my dish! The chicken was tender - I was pleasantly surprised considering chicken tenderloin cuts usually end up being pretty dry. The waffles were good - just a little dry and crunchy for my taste. Adding the ube dip did help though! Out of all the ube things we ordered, I think the best was the pancakes! The ube smoothie is something I have to get EVERY SINGLE TIME so make sure to try it out! I literally have gone into the store for just the smoothie before. It's that good! Ube iced coffee: It was good and not overly sweet. You can taste the ube syrup was homemade. Wish the coffee was a tad bid stronger. Can't complain since it's less than $6. Tocino plate: I thought the meat was sweetly marinated well and packed with flavors. It goes so well with the fried egg and garlic rice. I will definitely order this again. Sisig plate: I love eating sisig but sometimes you just can't finish the whole plate since it is a heavy dish. I like how the portion size was enough to keep you full and not feel bloated in the end. I really enjoyed this dish just so I can try other dishes. Ube pancakes: This was by far the best ube pancakes I've ever had! It comes with whipped ube butter and ube syrup. We ordered the pork sisig, beef nilaga, and kare kare. All these dishes had so much flavor! I do have to point out that they were prepared in a healthy way. The extra fat and oils were trimmed out.
