First, I'd like to apologize for my initial review 4 years ago, because I've been recently going here and the food and experience has definitely changed! The Longonisa burger and homemade chips is my favorite, and my kids love their tasty pansit. Everything tastes fresh and authentic. Hard to believe we live literally up the street from this place and drive by at least five times a week going some place and finally today stopped in for lunch. Walk up to the counter and order, take a seat and they'll bring your food. So many choices that I know I'll have to come back for another couple of meals. I decided on eggplant torta which was a slice of eggplant, smashed flat and fried with a scrambled egg. absolutely delicious and came with a side of rice. My friend got a turkey sandwich that came with a super thick slice of turkey, lettuce, tomato and avocado as well as a huge pile of chips. Needless to say she took half home. Overall, this was pretty good. Probably the few things that made this review less than five stars; The French toast was bland, overall needed salt, and the price. I like the Pancit, thought it was good and what I would expect. I like that they mix the type of noodles. But this needed soy sauce badly. Everything we ordered here was so satisfying, but the pork sisig with rice was the standout for me super flavorful, perfectly savory, and just hits all the right notes. I also tried the garlic fried rice with longanisa and eggs, which was really good too. For food, we got the adobo pork belly (comes with macaroni salad, rice, and vegetables on the side) and the pandan fried chicken (comes with rice and veggies on the side). Pandan was super crispy and rice was soft, not mushy. Adobo was rich in garlic and in smoky and sweet flavor. Love they kept the fat on some adobo pieces. Each dish was just enough for us to finish for breakfast. For drinks, we ordered the calamansi juice and calamansi iced tea. Both taste great. Side notes: You order up front, bring your table number, and sit wherever you like. They will bring you your food. Once youre done, please put your food away in the back, which is located on the left hand side of the deli if youre facing the deli at the entryway. It was busy on a Sunday around noon. A few were available but was filled quickly after about half an hour of us arriving. People tend to spend time here. About an hour if youre just there to have a quick meal, but families were gathering and spending time with no rush which i loved. No waitress or waiter to check on you, just only to bring you your food which took a reasonable 2 minutes for drinks and about 10 - 15 for food. Overall, we definitely recommend! read more

This place is a must try. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. The vibe is low key, lots of people just getting up and getting there to eat. Ample seating. One of my favorite Filipino food spots. I always get the Adobo Fried Rice with Egg. You get to choose your style of egg but I go with scrambled. The nice rich flavor of the Adobe is delicious. I also get the Toasted Coconut Waffles. One i love is their nice and crunchy with a great coconut flavor. Such good food, good vibes, and a fun time whenever I come here, I usually would order their lumpia, adobo fried rice & eggs, taho, etc. me and my family go here from time to time since it's somewhat nearby and almost had tried half the things in the menu and honestly a great comfort food especially if you love Filipino food. They were super quick with getting your order and getting your food out, they'll personally hand you your items which is nice and then you get to put them away afterwards. I've been here several times since they've opened. This is a great spot to hit if you're heading to Carpinito bros for fall! Today we got the crispy pork belly bowl, arrozcaldo, small side of ube pancakes and beef tapa. I didn't try the pork bowl, however it was very crispy looking. The arrozcaldo was good. The tapas were okay, I think they use similar bases for their meat marinades (a touch sweet orange). The pancakes come with ube butter and ube syrup. Overall everything is okay, I think the price points are affordable. Nothing stood out to me personally. The service is direct and limited interactions with staff (go up, order, sit and wait). There's windows all along one side of the restaurant so there's a good amount of natural lighting and you can look out into the street. Had brunch here today. The food was ok and is quite pricey for the portion that you get. We ordered a side of plain sinigang soup which came in a small bowl and was charged $5. We don't mind paying extra but $5 for a small bowl of plain soup, which by the way was really salty, is ridiculous. The dinakdakan also did not taste like dinakdakan at all. It was so bland. These are 2 Filipino staples that are hard to mess up but the pancit lacked flavor and the lumpia wrapper was a different taste & texture than a typical lumpia wrapper. I really enjoyed my dish! The chicken was tender - I was pleasantly surprised considering chicken tenderloin cuts usually end up being pretty dry. The waffles were good - just a little dry and crunchy for my taste. Adding the ube dip did help though! Out of all the ube things we ordered, I think the best was the pancakes! You could really taste the ube flavor, and adding the ube syrup/dip made the flavor come through even more. In second place would be the ube french toast and third would be the ube waffles. Great addition to have in Auburn! Took my little brother and son here for breakfast on a Saturday morning at 10:00am, surprisingly the restaurant was pretty empty. For the food we ordered the Benedict and the chicken and waffle - the Benedict was decent and the waffles and chicken the kids enjoyed. The price is average, however what left me feeling underwhelming was the ordering cafe style with options to tip 18%+ at the counter for "bus your own table" while staff were not busy. The ube smoothie is something I have to get EVERY SINGLE TIME so make sure to try it out! I literally have gone into the store for just the smoothie before. It's that good! I have been craving for some good Filipino breakfast food so decided to come here for brunch. As my partner and I entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the friendly ladies behind the counter. Ube iced coffee: It was good and not overly sweet. You can taste the ube syrup was homemade. Wish the coffee was a tad bid stronger. Can't complain since it's less than $6. Tocino plate: I thought the meat was sweetly marinated well and packed with flavors. It goes so well with the fried egg and garlic rice. I will definitely order this again. Sisig plate: I love eating sisig but sometimes you just can't finish the whole plate since it is a heavy dish. I like how the portion size was enough to keep you full and not feel bloated in the end. I really enjoyed this dish just so I can try other dishes. Ube pancakes: This was by far the best ube pancakes I've ever had! It comes with whipped ube butter and ube syrup. This is such an underrated spot! I discovered this place from my brother and friend. I was so excited to try it when I first heard about it! When you enter, you order at the counter then they give you a number and you find your seat. This place is self buss, you have to buss your own table after you've finished eating. As a Filipina I'm picky about Filipino food and everything was SO YUMMY! Perfectly seasoned, love the additions of the sauces. Definitely not traditional Filipino but great additions like mac salad. Loved the mang Tomas for the pork belly. Ube pancakes weren't overly sweet. I'm pretty sure the meatloaf was imputido which i LOVE, never had it breaded and fried but will need to do that now. Ube latte you could taste the powdered milk/creamer but i didn't mind it. Halo halo was refreshing with mango ice cream since they ran out of ube. Service was great!
