Came here after hiking at Rainier on a Monday night. Got a hackberry fizz and it was delish. The burgers were so good. Mac n cheese was so good and the onion rings were as well. 10/10 burger. Waitress was nice and we did not wait long for our food. read more

We had an excellent meal at Shaken! We were here on a Wednesday night, had the artichoke dip which is a generous portion and piping hot, my husband had the steak with mushrooms and onions, and I had the cedar plank salmon - both were delicious and perfectly cooked to temp and came with a baked potato with all the fixings. The only negative was that the potato was not very warm. I also had a delicious cocktail (didn't come with everything stated in the menu but was good). Overall a great experience! The service was also super friendly and quick. The wine menu isn't great but the cocktail list is. read more

This is a great place to stop by after hiking. They have a variety of things on the menu and all three of us liked our meals. Our server, Kristin, was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a police officer theme and a thin blue line flag. Everyone was nice. read more

This place is very good. Had the salmon, fettuccine with chicken, spice mac, funnel fries. Everything is really good and presented in an upscale fashion. This place should be much busier just for the food. If you're within 30-40min, I'd say it's worth the drive. Yuuuuuum! read more

Excellent rib-eye steak here! Charcoal grilled and that flavor makes all the difference! That's also why I recommend this place if steak is on your mind to prepare for a day of Mt Rainier National Park! The Caesar's salad as a starter was fine, just nothing to write home about. So was the Dirty Martini, baked potato, broccoli, and the bourbon baked beans. For atmosphere, it's neither here nor there but probably one of the nicer places in the area. read more

Good service. The single serving apple pie "flower" is a great idea and totally hit the spot with apple pie filling in a flaky crispy crust and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This place has a fun drink menu too. The crab stuffed mushrooms were very cheesy, in fact, it was mostly a cheese stuffed mushroom. The baked crust tops were great and the drizzle of balsamic reduction helped cut through some of the creaminess. I didn't have an entree. The appetizer and dessert and cocktail was more than enough food. But there are lots of things to try on this menu. read more

We popped in to see what's shaken.....I cringed at myself writing that but hey..... Upon arrival there were no cars around and we thought maybe they were closed. We walked in and they were open, though we were the only customers. We started with the spinach artichoke dip. My worry really set in when we saw that juicy bowl of warm oil and shredded cheese mixed across the top. It was like no spinach artichoke dip I've ever seen! The girls barely touched it. Me and Mod went ahead and finished the whole bowl of oil, but I would not get that again ever! The plus side here is MOD had vacation constipation and this oil bowl really lubed up the old gut for him and got the bowels back to tip top shape....... After seeing the spinach artichoke dip I worried about the fettuccine Alfredo my GF ordered. To our chagrin it was BUSSIN. We were extremely surprised at this because we expected an oily mess like the app was, but it was anything but! Creamy and delicious! Highly Recommend! I got the fish Sammich and it was solid! If you want something with crispy fish but not traditional fish and chips, this is a good alternative! The house tartar sauce that came with was a great compliment to the sandwich, and though I'd probably explore the menu more if I returned, this was a pretty good option. Melissa, per our dinner usual got chowder, and then some clam and muscle steamers! The girl knows what she's doin in the chowder game because every time she got some it smacked! This one was no different, and we really like it! MOD was quiet after drinking a quart of oil for the appetizer but didn't stop him from finishing off his whole "Brisket Bi**h," Sandwich. He said it was okay. Overall I'd probably stop back in if I ever pass through Eatonville, but avoid the spinach artichoke dip. If you are feeling pasta definitely don't pass on the Fettuccine Alfredo, and if your feelin fishy then get hooked.....into that fish sammich! read more

I would not recommend this restaurant. At the most you will get a mediocre dining experience. The food is gross, service is slow and the staff members look dirty. I did not like anything about our experience and this is hard to say, because I normally at least like everyone's alcoholic beverages! Not here. They have their office set up on one of the tables for customers, complete eye sore. I decided that I did not want to eat here as soon as I walked in because it was dirty. However, I tried my son's steak once and that was my last bite. My husband said, "well this experience was a complete failure at least we know never to do date night here again." If you are looking for a quality experience I would highly recommend the steak house called 1889 for great food. read more

Friendly service. We were able to bring our dog and were seated outside. They brought a water bowl for our dog without us asking which was really nice. Food was great. Got the Ahi salad and the dressings were amazing. One was a wasabi dressing the other was a sweet and sour dressing. read more

Shaken is a town gem. They have had some staff issues, like so many businesses during the last couple years but they all work themselves out. The service is strong. The owners are wonderful. The staff and owners truly care about the customers. They remember your family, kids, favorites & go above and beyond. Kiddos love the treasure box, a special thing for the tiny diners. If kiddos finish their meals and mom and dad give the ok, the Icecream is a welcomed treat! I love their Rainier Dip but I have tried almost everything on the menu! I enjoy local cider options. We absolutely love when they have live music! The vibe when the community comes together the music is playing and the patio is full is a really wonderful and pleasant experience! Keep up the good work shaken! Their hours change for seasons and local town events, so always check the schedules. read more

Nice restaurant with a friendly staff serving good food in Downtown Eatonville area. No bar seating, but happy to put whichever game you want on while you sit at the Hi-Top Booth combos. Give this place a shot. Had some live music going on outside when I walked up around 7p on a Sunday. Ahi tuna salad was awesome, see pics! read more

Service did a great job and overall pretty good food. It did take quite a while to get our meal , roughly over 45minutes but we were not in a rush. The surf and turf skewer was delicious with the shrimp and scallops we just wish there would have been more than 2 shrimp and 1 scallop on the skewer. Overall we would return, it's a nice little place with kind staff and pretty good food. It had a fun atmosphere and the restaurant was quite clean. read more

Had a great dinner here! We made reservations to sit on the patio and had a pup with us. They brought a water bowl for her which was awesome. Our service was great! Our server checked on us often and was super nice. The cheesy-bacon bread with balsamic drizzle was AMAZING!. I turned my salad into a wrap and got their baked beans for my side. Food was good but service was horrible! If you're not white and straight don't bother stopping. We ordered salad, steak, and daily special, but it took them an hour to get us our food and the restaurant was about a third full. Another table came in 15 minutes after us and were served before we were. To make things worse, we were ignored the whole time we were waiting with the exception of our niece getting her sprite refilled. My wife had an empty glass when we finally got our meals but no refill was offered and we couldn't get their attention to get one. They wouldn't even look me in the eye when I went to the cashier to pay after requesting our check and getting ignored on that too. I haven't felt this unwelcome in an establishment in years, it was like they were trying to pretend we didn't exist. We've been here a couple of times before and liked the place, but we will NOT be back after tonight's experience. read more

Rude as all heck. Barely made it in to the restaurant. Just asked if they were open because there were no cars out front. Was looked at like I had horns growing out my head. And rolled eyes and said well my open signs are on. Like yeah sorry for asking a question. He's like well I have multiple signs and they are all on . Yup but you have no cars so again wanted to make sure before I grabbed my 3 kids out the car. There were fake plants and a column/pillar with mirrors on it, an Amazon Forrest mural on the wall with televisions up on a couple. Felt like a sports bar. The tables and chairs were your average styled booths, that light-colored wood. It was sooooo cold inside. When we walked in, we were greeted by a nice young lady. She seemed to have a puzzled look on her face as to why we were there. My husband stated we had reservations. So now we were seated. Time to order. Looking over the menu, I see the pricing and was like "ok, a lil higher priced type of menu" I was down to give it a try. We ordered the calamari and zucchini chips for apps and then the butternut squash risotto with scallops (approx $30) for me and the brined chicken ($28) for my husband as well as a side of broccolini ($14). The apps came out first and I was honestly shocked. The calamari were so tiny and the zucchini looked like what they would serve in a bowling alley. Both dishes had the "mama lil's peppers" in it. I'm okay with the portion size but how are you charging $20 for calamari and $14 for the zucchini? Then we received our entrees. Again, we were looking for an elevated dining experience with the pricing of the food, to include presentation and all. I was disappointed to see the cheap cafeteria-like silverware and dish ware it was served on. Now understand the food was good. Not OMG WE ARE COMING BACK kinda good. But mid. Nothing wrong with that but the way they advertise is as if you are about to have a romantic, chill and classy dining experience. It's okay to be mid tier. I won't be mad about it. My dish was not butternut squash risotto, it was a mushroom risotto with 4 mid sized scallops. My husband's chicken was nicely seasoned and flavored and the mashed potatoes it came with, delish. He had caramelized carrots but some were straight black. Maybe a bit much heat. The broccolini was drowning in a cream sauce with onions and mama lil's peppers, slightly overcooked. Needless to say, it wasn't the dinner I was expecting, especially paying almost $200 for it. We did have a couple drinks and those were good. Customer service was on point. The staff were accommodating and helpful. I would kinda expect that since there were only us and another table in the dining room area. I had high hopes but sadly, not the vibe I was looking for. I've been to a fair share of a lil more upscale restaurants and this didn't hit that point for me personally. I think with lower prices and refraining from calling it a speakeasy, it could do well. Just my opinion. Oh they had a lil area for taking selfies available. Thank you for a nice date night with my hubby. We had a chance to have some one on one time together.

We also ordered some appetizers, including chicken satay and beef ribs. The ribs were very flavorful and well cooked. The chicken was dry and disappointing, and all three fish dishes were overcooked. It was embarrassing for me to bring my friend there. We have been going to Roy's restaurants in Hawaii since he opened his first restaurant, and Woven was greatly under our expectations for a fine dining experience -- especially based on our past experiences with Roy's which were mostly very positive. I wrote to the restaurant about our experience and never heard back. The service was pretty good but not really to the level it should have been for this kind of restaurant.
