I've said it before , I'll say it again this is THE BEST TR location I've ever visited . Staff is excellent food is excellent . Keep up the good work and thank you for an amazing 36 yr anniversary dinner experience .

Decent looking restaurant-pretty middle of the road. The food was very salty. Fried pickles were almost unbearably seasoned. Limited draft menu. Expensive for quality. Service was good. Not very clean. Lots of parking.

This was an okay steak place for me. The steak was good, not bad at all, and the service was really friendly and cute at that time. Personally, the cinnamon butter wasn't my favorite, but I enjoyed saving the sweet potato fries as a little dessert. Overall, a decent spot to try!

cactus blossom yummy, but I like the sauce from Outback Stealhouse's onion blossom better. not overpowering with the seasoning, which is a very pleasant surprise. macaroni and cheese was plain and not a stand-out like the menu made it sound to be. not worth the $5 for that small, little, tiny, baby bowl! waitress was nice. I thought that the mandatory hourly dance that they do is super duper cute, too. they did mess up my order a few times, so that is why it is not toooo high. I understand that I came in with 4 guests, but too have my order of a cactus blossom with a side of macaroni and cheese mistaken is... hm. just interesting. handled professionally, but again, no check-ups or updates during the quite long waiting process about where our food was at. I love the bright neon lights with the caricatures of Texan celebrities. so much Texan pride that I am glad that those from that state have a spot on base that could remind them of home. maybe having a highlighted line of the step leading up to the elevated tables would be helpful because so many guests tripping on their way up and hitting themselves on the heightened table :/ again, I enjoyed my time here, but some minor inconveniences that could be easily addressed.

We arrived at 5:35 pm on a Saturday, and we waited about 1 hour and 15 minutes for a table-- longer than expected. Food: I appreciate that you can pick your own steak before being seated. We ordered the Texas combo with two sides each. The famous cinnamon butter rolls were freshly baked, and I get why they're so popular--absolutely delicious! Customer Service: The servers were busy with table turnovers, but ours made sure we had everything we needed and checked in regularly. Overall: While the food was enjoyable, the long wait and it not being my usual style make me feel mixed about a return visit.

We sat at the bar. DH got a cold beer and I got white wine. Bartender was nice, but lacked a sense of urgency. We ordered a mushroom and cheese chicken sandwich with green beans and a sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. Apparently they had run out of cheese, but didn't tell me until they brought out my meal giving me no option to change if I wanted. Steak was cooked well. Mashed potatoes were good but the gravy was not good. We know not to get it next time. Even with three star review, it's a national chain restaurant so you know what you're in for. There are plenty of taxidermy mounts to look at all over the restaurant.

Visited here on 9/17/2025, it's always been a go to spot for us when we visit Washington. Like always the food was prepared excellent, our server was excellent, and the place is always clean. Thank you again Texas Roadhouse for being our go to.

Service at the bar was extremely slow for us. We got seated and it took the staff 20 minutes to give us menus. They never gave us water, until the last 5-10 minutes when I finally asked for it. Food took extremely slow on top of it. I understand it was a busy Saturday night BUT everyone who sat after us got water, got menus right away, got their food before us. Can't help but feel mistreated when the level of service and care for everyone else was great and we were just sitting there while the waiters fought over who didn't want to help us...

I would say that the food was delicious especially with a good deal of including two sides. It definitely filled me all the way up until later in the day. The service was amazing with the waiter providing us fast service when we asked for rolls. The environment was pretty loud but a good setting given that it wasn't too busy.

California Chicken Dinner with a Baked Potato. Had ordered a Seasoned Rice with it, but never received even after requesting it twice...

We arrived around 9pm-ish on a Saturday where they had live music playing at the bar. We asked to be seated away from the bar as we wanted to have conversations and felt the music was too loud to do that and our hostess was more than happy to accommodate that. Our server Wizz was absolutely the highlight of our visit as he ensured everything we ordered was brought out, checked in us at appropriate times and had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, they were out of the pink crowns which seems like it is a popular choice as our server shared they only had the yellow and blue one. My brother got the sausage pasta, my boyfriend got their beef fried rice, my mom and I shared the Just the Basics seafood boil, and we got onion rings to share. I know last time I did the birthday package, I was only allowed to use from the alcohol options of a margherita or a Blue Hawaiian but I prefer fruity drinks and the Blue Hawaiian is a slushie drink. Luckily it seems you can choose a Roy Roger or Shirley Temple (used to be for kids' birthdays) and I went with the Shirley Temple. It was okay, I feel like it was more Sprite tasting and not much of the grenadine. The food arrived and everything tasted great. We were really impressed with the seafood boil and everyone got to try it out even though it is suited for one person. The yum yum sauce that comes with the fried rice is heavenly and my boyfriend who doesn't use too much sauce doused his fried rice with it but it was absolutely the best. My brother enjoyed his sausage pasta as well. We got our ice cream which was refreshing after all the food we devoured. They even brought out the magic candle which they say is reserved for parties of 6 and more but it just shows that Wizz wanted to make my birthday memorable. Two employees came over with Wizz to sing me happy birthday which felt genuine and not forced like at other restaurants. We got our photo which also came in this cute green frame to take home, that's a huge set up as I was just given the photo when I last celebrated my birthday. Definitely looking forward to come back to use the $10 gift certificate and for an amazing time.

It is definitely the old black Angus. The decor is almost the same. And on Sunday night, you could hear the jazz in the lounge, which was nice. Ordered Long Island iced teas and they were all alcohol so if you like alcohol, this is your place. I asked for extra Coke which they gave me with no problem. The appetizer plate had hush puppies, onion rings, celery, mozzarella sticks, and the infamous wings. The wings lived up to the expectations and we will definitely be back to have wings here again. Also ordered a feeling crabby, seafood boil with snow, crab, head, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes in the house special sauce, and it was very good. Almost as good as Captain crab. And the crab here was done perfectly. Definitely coming back to try more things on the menu Our total with two drinks, appetizer platter and feeling crabby with tax and tip for 3 people was $110 (& we did have some leftovers) Was so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures (next time)

First time visitor to Tacoma and holy heck this place was great... the vibe for Friday happy hour…read morewas off the charts... it made sense that there was no availability for tables so we opted for bar! Luckily we got there around 5 and were able to get 4 bar seats. Our server Colin was awesome! He happened to be from San Diego like the rest of us which made for great conversation and attentive service! The Happy hour was not just a good deal but the food was outstanding.... We ordered the oysters, chefs burger (OMG), empanadas (delicious) and the star of the show was the prawn and turf (that sauce and sourdough combo was amazing) Literally counting the days till I'm back, golfing at chambers bay and stopping by asado on the way back.

We got the Lomo ($68) and the Parilla Mixta ($50) with the mashed potatoes and the polenta. The last time we came here, they brought out a delicious complimentary bread but it seems like they don't do that anymore. My boyfriend liked his lomo (filet mignon) and it had a nice sear and the chimichurri and demi glace was delicious. My parilla mixta was yummy but the skirt steak was on the blander side and the sausage was nothing special but I really like the shrimp and the polenta was delicious. Overall everything was fresh and the food came out quick and our waitress was really nice. The restaurant wasn't too crowded when we were there but it looked like it was filling up and it is a cute spot for a date night or dinner with friends! It's definitely on the pricier side but we would come back to try their pastas or other dishes!

Hands Down the Best Spot in South Hill! I have been here a few times and always leave satisfied…read more If you're looking for the ultimate spot to celebrate a birthday, The Meridian is it! We came here for my friend's birthday and the vibe was absolutely immaculate!!!! Exactly the kind of energy you want for a special night out. Let's talk about the service: Brian and Jason are absolute legends. They took such good care of us and honestly made the whole experience 10x better. They're attentive, super friendly, and just know how to make you feel like a VIP. The bar has everything you need. Reanee is the sweetest and will customize to your hearts desire ensuring your whistle is wet Now, the food... wow. The chicken is straight-up fire, but the real game-changer is the Lemon Pepper SAUCE. I've only ever had the dry rub before at other spots, but having it as a wet sauce is a total revelation. It's zesty, peppery, and addictive... I'm never going back to dry rub again. Amazing food, killer service, and a great atmosphere. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out. Highly recommend!

I was extremely excited to try this new "speakeasy" that I heard about in Puyallup. In my mind it…read morewas gonna be dimly lit, old school, classy dark-colored furniture, easy listening jazzy music playing softly in the background and a warm ambiance that was inviting, once you stepped in. That's what I picture when I hear speakeasy. A very intimate setting. However, this was completely opposite. It was bright, with a mishmash of decor. I wasn't sure if there was a theme. There were fake plants and a column/pillar with mirrors on it, an Amazon Forrest mural on the wall with televisions up on a couple. Felt like a sports bar. The tables and chairs were your average styled booths, that light-colored wood. It was sooooo cold inside. When we walked in, we were greeted by a nice young lady. She seemed to have a puzzled look on her face as to why we were there. My husband stated we had reservations. So now we were seated. Time to order. Looking over the menu, I see the pricing and was like "ok, a lil higher priced type of menu" I was down to give it a try. We ordered the calamari and zucchini chips for apps and then the butternut squash risotto with scallops (approx $30) for me and the brined chicken ($28) for my husband as well as a side of broccolini ($14). The apps came out first and I was honestly shocked. The calamari were so tiny and the zucchini looked like what they would serve in a bowling alley. Both dishes had the "mama lil's peppers" in it. I'm okay with the portion size but how are you charging $20 for calamari and $14 for the zucchini? Then we received our entrees. Again, we were looking for an elevated dining experience with the pricing of the food, to include presentation and all. I was disappointed to see the cheap cafeteria-like silverware and dish ware it was served on. Now understand the food was good. Not OMG WE ARE COMING BACK kinda good. But mid. Nothing wrong with that but the way they advertise is as if you are about to have a romantic, chill and classy dining experience. It's okay to be mid tier. I won't be mad about it. My dish was not butternut squash risotto, it was a mushroom risotto with 4 mid sized scallops. My husband's chicken was nicely seasoned and flavored and the mashed potatoes it came with, delish. He had caramelized carrots but some were straight black. Maybe a bit much heat. The broccolini was drowning in a cream sauce with onions and mama lil's peppers, slightly overcooked. Needless to say, it wasn't the dinner I was expecting, especially paying almost $200 for it. We did have a couple drinks and those were good. Customer service was on point. The staff were accommodating and helpful. I would kinda expect that since there were only us and another table in the dining room area. I had high hopes but sadly, not the vibe I was looking for. I've been to a fair share of a lil more upscale restaurants and this didn't hit that point for me personally. I think with lower prices and refraining from calling it a speakeasy, it could do well. Just my opinion. Oh they had a lil area for taking selfies available. Thank you for a nice date night with my hubby. We had a chance to have some one on one time together.

The Vacio wagyu is always perfectly tender, and continually warmed on the hot stone with its accompanying salt and chimichurri. That item alone makes me go out of my way to fulfill a craving. An honorable mention goes to their complimentary refried bean tostadas, which is very underrated. The loaded Papa Loca potato is large for sharing, perfectly baked the first time, but underbaked/too starchy the second time. The mushrooms aren't special enough with just a coating of cheese and an unappetizing heavy hand of red pepper flake coating. My toddler honestly has a palate for good burgers, but his dislike was mutual; tasting it it out of curiosity, the wagyu cheeseburger needed more flavor, while the fries seemed over-cooked in old oil. The first time on a weekday, everything seemed great. The second time around for a busy Mother's Day weekend, it just seemed everything was rushed, especially the food preparation.
