    Pineapple margarita
    Jasmine R.

This place has been on my list for a while, and I'm so glad I got to check it out for happy hour. My friend and I started with the empanada and frites as appetizers then opted for the surf and turf as our entrees. The food was all very flavorful and fresh. The bread that is served with the surf and turf is tasty, and the portion size of the dish was large enough for me to take home and have leftovers. The special margarita was pineapple flavored and refreshing. Service was wonderful, and the restaurant itself was very cute. I've been looking for a regular happy hour spot, and this might be it!

What a great spot! We grabbed seats at the bar and had such a wonderful dinner paired with delicious drinks. Our service was quick and attentive . We started with the Caesar salad topped with anchovies and perfectly sized, crispy croutons. Then came the chicken skewers and the steak with shrimp in tomato sauce, served with sourdough wedges -- everything was flavorful, satisfying, and beautifully prepared. We ordered one of the drink specials along with an Arnold Palmer, and both were spot-on. If you're looking for Argentinian food at its best in Tacoma, this is a must-try restaurant. Parking can be a bit challenging, but honestly, that's the only downside. We'll definitely be back for this great vibe of a restaurant!!

First off, all of the staff was incredible. From the valet outside to the waitstaff and host. Elijah was an incredible waiter! He gave great recommendations and was very attentive to our needs. The ribeye will have us drooling for weeks to come. Fantastic flavors and super juicy and tender. All of the food was delicious, we will definitely be back soon. Don't forget to get the crème brûlée!

So I'm not from the area but a local recommended this place. Grateful we made reservations since they book out in advance. Our servers name was Kate and she was superb! The way she described all the food with such passion and detail made us want to order everything! Aside from that she was beyond kind and patient while we chose our drinks and food. Never once made us feel rushed. I ordered the Inside Job and loved it! Great take on an old fashioned. My pregnant sister ordered a secret garden which she said was incredibly refreshing. We shared everything and started off with the chicken empanadas. Loved these! They had this incredible hint of cinnamon and I love how they had a generous amount of filling, a light crunchy crust and the sauce on the side only made them that much better. My sister ordered the ribeye with the purple potatoes and I got the branzino. She said her steak was good but she'd had a better one at Seattle City Grill. I thought it had a great crust on it. The branzino was perfection! Hope it sticks around as a permanent option. Definitely a pricy place though. Luckily we were celebrating that night!

Everything knocked it out of the park! Pricing was not cheap but the quality was there! I also thought the restaurant interior was upscale and interesting. Service was fast and the bartenders (Colin and one other gentleman) were knowledgeable of the menu and amicable. I ordered 2 steak skewers and frites from the happy hour menu. I also ordered the secret garden which was a delightful non-A option. I will definitely be back for happy hour again or for a special occasion.

Dark, rustic venue nice for date night. Pretty full even on a Tuesday. Probably should have a reservation but we were lucky and were able to walk in. Service was good. I loved the tender lamb shank and enjoyed the smoky polenta it was served over even more. My partner thought it was too rich. Used the nice toast to soak up some sauce. Gnocchi was light and tasty with different mushrooms. Menu says pasta is fresh and it tastes it. Would go again!

Made reservations here for my Fiancé's birthday awhile back. Found parking fairly easy (Street Parking Only) and was immediately greeted by the server right when we walked in. Was a beautiful day out so the big doors were open letting in some fresh air. Ordered the Rib Eye, which I'm typically not a fan of Rib Eye steak. Delicious. Perfectly seasoned where no additional sauce was needed and it practically melted in my mouth. Be prepared to spend a bit of coin but also be prepared to have plenty of left overs. I believe my steak was 14oz and I know I have plenty for lunch and breakfast this coming weekend. As long as I don't screw it up while reheating it.

Food was great. Our server Elijah was super helpful & had great food recommendations. First time here but wont be our last. We sat in the lounge, lots of laughter but music is low so you can head and enjoy conversation easily.

Last minute decision to go out for a birthday. Too late to get a reservation so the 3 of us opted to sit in the bar. Bar offers full menu service. We decided to get cocktails and shareable foods to eat, as we ventured out rather late in the evening. The crafted cocktails were really good, as well as the menu items we chose. They ran out of glasses for the Pom drop cocktail, so it was served in a much smaller glass. Lil baby glass, but the remainder that didn't fit in the baby glass came to us in another basic glass. Aesthetically kinda weird. We had the street corn empanadas, skirt steak skewer, and a caesar salad. Would've been nice to have more than just 2 empanadas though. Lively atmosphere, would love to come back and try other menu items. Happy hour menu had some good offerings too.

Cozy atmosphere and excellent server! Had a reservation so we were seated immediately. Excellent wine selection, although I got their red sangria. A bit tart, less fruity than most I've had. Will skip it next time and do wine or a cocktail. Mocktail was delicious, tasted like a fancy Hawaiian Punch, so kiddo loved it. Started with calamari and wedge salad. We thought the salad was a perfect light starter to go with the heavier mains. Everyone liked the calamari, although we all preferred the original aioli to the cilantro one. Mains: Kiddo had steak frites. Didn't love the butter (was very rich) but finished her steak and there were loads of fries. I had the mixed grill. Chorizo was dry, but shrimp and steak was good. Couldn't finish the potatoes. Hubs got the lamb ragú (red sauce) and it was very good. Home made ricotta was the perfect touch. Had a comped chocolate dessert for hubbys birthday and also got alfajores because why not! Cake was decadent and rich, and the cookies were light and the dulche de leche was also a mild caramel flavor, which kiddo and I both enjoyed.

My brother was a chef du cuisine, not a cook. He taught me decades ago how to make a dining experience worthy of people's spending. This was not it. The food was amazing but left the experience me feeling as if I wasted my money. The grumpiness of the individual behind the bar where we sat and ate was showmanship beyond unprofessionalism. When he dropped off drinks...no eye contact, no acknowledgement of our thank yous to him. Utterly embarrassing for the establishment, and for us to support it. If you are that miserable, you should not be outward facing to represent a business. Bartending is an art rooted in many aspects beyond drink making, especially if you are representing a business in service. No offers of drinks with empty drink glasses after rounds 1 and 2. No acknowledgement of empty dishes with wishes of subsequent courses that we were interested in. Yikes, this was bad.

We arrived around 9pm-ish on a Saturday where they had live music playing at the bar. We asked to be seated away from the bar as we wanted to have conversations and felt the music was too loud to do that and our hostess was more than happy to accommodate that. Our server Wizz was absolutely the highlight of our visit as he ensured everything we ordered was brought out, checked in us at appropriate times and had a great sense of humor. Unfortunately, they were out of the pink crowns which seems like it is a popular choice as our server shared they only had the yellow and blue one. My brother got the sausage pasta, my boyfriend got their beef fried rice, my mom and I shared the Just the Basics seafood boil, and we got onion rings to share. I know last time I did the birthday package, I was only allowed to use from the alcohol options of a margherita or a Blue Hawaiian but I prefer fruity drinks and the Blue Hawaiian is a slushie drink. Luckily it seems you can choose a Roy Roger or Shirley Temple (used to be for kids' birthdays) and I went with the Shirley Temple. It was okay, I feel like it was more Sprite tasting and not much of the grenadine. The food arrived and everything tasted great. We were really impressed with the seafood boil and everyone got to try it out even though it is suited for one person. The yum yum sauce that comes with the fried rice is heavenly and my boyfriend who doesn't use too much sauce doused his fried rice with it but it was absolutely the best. My brother enjoyed his sausage pasta as well. We got our ice cream which was refreshing after all the food we devoured. They even brought out the magic candle which they say is reserved for parties of 6 and more but it just shows that Wizz wanted to make my birthday memorable. Two employees came over with Wizz to sing me happy birthday which felt genuine and not forced like at other restaurants. We got our photo which also came in this cute green frame to take home, that's a huge set up as I was just given the photo when I last celebrated my birthday. Definitely looking forward to come back to use the $10 gift certificate and for an amazing time.

I asked for extra Coke which they gave me with no problem. The appetizer plate had hush puppies, onion rings, celery, mozzarella sticks, and the infamous wings. The wings lived up to the expectations and we will definitely be back to have wings here again. Also ordered a feeling crabby, seafood boil with snow, crab, head, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes in the house special sauce, and it was very good. Almost as good as Captain crab. And the crab here was done perfectly. Definitely coming back to try more things on the menu Our total with two drinks, appetizer platter and feeling crabby with tax and tip for 3 people was $110 (& we did have some leftovers) Was so busy eating that I forgot to take pictures (next time)

We arrived early, and were seated at about our reservation time. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. So far so good. I had the 12oz prime rib. Our guest had the seafood with scallops. My wife had sirloin and shrimp. For the salad/appetizer I had the lobster bisque. The ladies each had the Caesar salad. The prime rib was supposed to be medium, but had zero pink and about 4oz of a big slab of fat on the end. It was a bit tough. The knife given to me probably would not cut butter as there were no serrations left on the blade. I would say the cut of beef was choice at the most, still a bit tough when I asked for a knife that would cut the meat. My lobster bisque had very little lobster in it. I finally found a couple of small pieces at the bottom of the bowl. The Caesar salads had little to no flavor according to the ladies. The scallops appeared to be breaded and were well overcooked. The shrimp on my wife's plate were overcooked and tough. So much for the not so good stuff.... Our Yukon gold potato mash servings were good. My wife's sirloin steak was well seasoned and perfectly cooked for her. The best part of our meals were the deserts. Cheese cake, Key Lime pie, and the cream boule. The business was very busy and the staff members were working hard. The view today was as exceptional as we remembered from previous visits. Two of us are mobility impaired. I only saw one DP parking spot at the entrance drive up area. There were none in the parking garage. The garage is under the business. There was no elevator for those who are mobility impaired. There may have been parking across the street, but I had not paid attention to that lot when we drove up from the east. I had to take the steps one at a time, using the hand rail, hanging my cane from my opposite arm. I would give the food today two stars, and the service four stars. With that I settled on three stars for the overall experience. No, I did not complain about the food today to the staff, just asked for a knife that would actually cut the "prime rib". I did not find out about how the ladies felt until we were in the car leaving. We should have gone to "Texas Roadhouse" on Joint Base Lewis McChord. My wife and I had great steaks there on Monday. I wanted to take the ladies someplace very special for Mother's Day, thus the reservations a this establishment. Enough said!
