Strawberry lemonade and a boozy slushie

Fun to eat outside with the kids in a low key atmosphere! My children and husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the vibe. I had a boozy slushy, my husband's blackberry Italian ice looked legit. Ate my whole entire hot honey chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by the purple cabbage slaw on board. Service was great, not intrusive and available as needed. Will likely return soon!

Good experience at Dusty's! Not much inside seating but a lot outside. Great cocktail menu and juicy burgers full of flavor. Waitstaff was fairly attentive although the order runner kept getting confused on what tables were which.

Checked out Dusty's Hideaway for a girls lunch. Our server was nice and quick with getting everything out to us. We loved our boozy slushies. The menu had a variety of food options including some veggie/vegan options to choose from. I got the hot honey chicken sandwich and tater tots. My friends got the build your own burger and chicken strips. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasty. The servings were large and we ended up taking food home. We went on a cold winter day after a snow storm, so we ate inside. The interior is colorful and cozy. I'd love to go back on a sunny day to eat outside and try another rotating slushy flavor. It looks like they have a lot of outside seating available in the warmer months.

Hot honey chicken sandwich, tater tots - IG @bougiefoodieboi

Not sure what's with the negative reviews but I had a really delicious sandwich here. Ahead of time we ordered on DoorDash as we were on a time crunch and had extra DoorDash credits to use. Under $20 for the sandwich and tater tots is okay price but the portions are good and the quality is up there. We got the hot honey chicken sandwich, and the chicken batter is so crispy while the chicken held the juiciness. The hot honey is apparent with the sweetness but it was truthfully not too spicy for me. They were generous with the tater tots and one order is enough for 2 people to enjoy a satisfying meal.

Amazing menu and service. Hidden lunch restaurant. What great food choices. Stack hamburgers and peanut butter and siracha beef patties.

I never use the word "queer," but I feel it's really apt here. Just a super, super funky restaurant inside of a modified Craftsman home decorated with all of the gender identity flags. I was the first to arrive for the day and was greeted fairly promptly. He told me to sit anywhere and he'd bring the menus shortly. Other people started coming in very quickly after and service really slowed down. If I had to guess there was one person in the front and one in the kitchen. While slow, service was friendly. They had several seasonal drinks and I went with Santa's Slay, which was overall pretty a-okay. For food I got the Grit City Griller, which is veggie, with some tots and the entire reason I ended up at Dusty's in the first place: ranch dressing. Yes. As odd as it sounds, I heard the ranch dressing was really good and I came here mostly just to check out a condiment. Overall brunch was perfectly fine. The ranch was good. The tots were hot and crispy, and the burger was pretty good as well. I'd give this experience a 3.5 stars. This is one of those places I probably won't come to again on my own, but if someone suggested it I'd be down.

Love the atmosphere, service was great even though they were super busy. The food was amazing.

Well had a good burger at Dusty's. I basically had a mushroom Swiss burger with two patties and onion rings. It was nice. I think having the second Patty was a mistake on my part. More isn't always better. It was almost too much ground beef at that point, but that's on me. Everything was seasoned. Well, good flavor. The service was exceptional And they actually gave me an additional cider for free, when they had an extra one poured. They were very friendly, thoughtful. We also ordered the chicken wings. If you like sauced up wings you will definitely enjoy these. They're decent sized, again. Good flavor. I can't remember what the sauce was but I think it was a mango something or other. I enjoyed the atmosphere that is located in a house. They're pro lgbtq which was nice. It feels friendly, and inviting to any and all. If you're cruising through Tacoma, I certainly recommend these folks.

A friendly neighborhood burger joint with tasty unique menu options! My family and I have been in the works of coming here for a while. The place is mellow and has indoor and outdoor seating. Dusty's is a residence, most likely someone's previous home once upon a time, but it's spacious and the owners made it work! We ordered The Dusty's, which has bacon, egg over easy, grilled onions with American cheese, lettuce and tomato. Then, there was The Murf which is a double patty with grilled onions and mushrooms, cheddar, steak sauce, and horseradish mayo. Lastly, we ordered their BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato). You can choose your side such as fries, a side salad, onion rings, or tots. Don't worry, if you're not a red meat eater, they also have chicken and salad options, which also look great. Service was average and laid back. Definitely a great business to support. You'll leave satisfied and stuffed!

Can't find anything wrong with their food or service or seating. I don't get why this place has lower rating.

The food is my favorite part. I can have a beer anywhere, but the food is actually pretty on point minus the nachos, sad to say. Always overcooked, cheese is hardened and well beyond melted, but a massive portion in size. The sandwiches are amazing, the quesadillas are amazing, have yet to make it there before breakfast ends but I'm betting it's probably pretty good. Staff are friendly, efficient, and do well on checking to make sure you're not waiting too long for service without being too bothersome. It gets a little loud, busy and crowded on nights especially on the weekends, but that's typical bar atmosphere. Then he started adding something from the gun into it. I said mid-shoot,"what is that???" Comes back with club soda, turned around after a bit and said oh hey I think that's club soda. I said yeah, he interrupts me to say well it's just water with bubbles in it. Like we are idiots and should just keep it. We both said he can't do it, throat cancer, etc. so he acquiesces. So weird. Recently stopped in here for a date night with the wife…read more We've been looking for a decent replacement ever since Tacoma lost the Rhein Haus. Since my wife is of German heritage, brats and kraut are a thing in our life. The menu here looked really good, so we stopped in our 29th anniversary. I will say, there is a parking lot across the street. For those who've been in the area for a while and remember past times, it used to be a used car lot Luckily I found an empty spot on the street right out front, so I grabbed it. But yeah, parking in this area can be tricky. Just be aware that there is the lot across the street on Puyallup Avenue, the entrance is from "Court A", which looks like an alley but is technically a road. Tacoma is fun like that. So let's talk food. We ordered the Brätzel, because my wife loves a good soft pretzel with some beer cheese. This one states that it's a beer cheese soup, and it was a bit thinner than a typical beer cheese. But it had a really good flavor. It was not gritty at all like some beer cheese can be (I'm looking at you Hops&Drops). I'm not a huge pretzel fan, but I will say that I tried a portion of it and enjoyed this one. The pretzel had a good flavor and the beer cheese soup was great. We also split the Landjäger / Käse Platte. Let's get one thing clear, this thing is bigger than it looks on the menu. There's a lot here. I'm really not sure exactly which of the four cheese were which. If you go by the description on the Käse Platte then it should be Bavaria Bleu Crème, Raclette, Emmentaler and Butterkäse. The Bleu Crème is easy to spot. The rest look similar really. But each had a unique flavor and all tasted absolutely wonderful. The cured beef and pork sausages were good, but the cheese stole the show here. We also shared the Berliner Platte for a main. Again, I can not stress this enough, there is A LOT of food here. the two of us had no chance of eating all this. This plate comes with the following sausages; Berliner Bratwurst, Smoked Cheese, Spicy Cheese, Chicken Andouille & Bockwurst as well as being served with sauerkraut and you get to pick two sides. We chose the Spätzle and Pommes (fries). All of this was amazing. The spicy sausage and the andouille were too spicy for my wife, but we knew that going in. If you have a group and are wanting to sample the many wursts here, I would highly recommend this plate. Now, let's talk service. I don't remember our server's name, but she was so great. Very friendly, very tentative, very good at her job. This was exactly the kind of service I look for when I go out to a restaurant. I don't want some tablet where I'm interacting with a faceless machine, I don't want a kiosk, I want a real person who engages with us and helps make our experience the best it can be, and this place gets it. The staff here is on point, they are good, they take good care of you and the experience made s want to come back. This place is for sure at the top of our list for German food here in Tacoma. If you have not been, you need to stop by. It's not big, it's not fancy, you'll drive right by it if you aren't paying attention. But this place is by far the perfect replacement for our missing sausage haus. We are so glad we stopped in.

As we arrived, we weren't sure if needed to seat ourselves but by the time we were about to look at a sign, a kind waitress let us know that we can seat ourselves anywhere and brought us menus. I saw that they had tables with fires which was really cool but unfortunately there were a lot of people sitting there so we just sat at the longer tables. The interior of this place is huge and bright! They have plenty of seating inside and it looks like they do outdoor seating which is dog friendly. We were told that they will have days where they have musicians playing German music and that it attracts quite a large crowd. Our waitress Sara was hilarious, personable and did a great job of taking care of us. She really made the visit all the more memorable and fun! We did order a lot: Berliner Platter with chips and spatzle, Berliner Sliders with fries and a bratzel. We did not realize just how huge the portions were for everything, like the platter was going to be big but we weren't expecting the amount of food for other order. Everything tasted absolutely amazing though! We really enjoyed everything and they do not mess around with flavors cause you taste exactly what they advertised. The house made chips were also fantastic and probably some of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend and I are excited to return and definitely will be sharing this spot to others as we thought we had to drive to Leavenworth for good German food but it is closer to home than we thought!
