Soup and entree brought out within minutes. I had to enjoy my soup from my lap vs the table cause there was no room
Mary R.

Came here for Father's Day brunch with a reservation and were seated outside on a beautiful day. We were greeted and seated fairly quickly, and our server was initially attentive when taking our drink and food orders. However, the dining experience quickly went downhill. Although we specifically asked for our soups to come out first, they were brought to the table just minutes before our entrées, making it hard to enjoy either properly. What stood out even more was watching several tables, all seated after us, receive their food well before we did. It's hard to ignore the pattern, especially when none of those tables looked like ours. To make matters worse, I found a hair embedded in my burger patty. While the server was apologetic and took it back right away, it was understandably off-putting. The food had potential, but that, combined with the service dynamic, left a bad impression. It's disappointing, especially since this isn't the first time I've heard similar experiences from other friends who have dined here. It gives the unfortunate impression that not all guests are treated equally, and that's not something I can overlook. I won't be returning.

Bay Burger was dry. Sweet potato fries were good though.

The food was meh, but the view almost makes up for it. Food was not made with love, but again the view was breathtaking

We got done after a 7 seas sponsored event and ordered food to go. It took them until 9:45pm; exactly 48 minutes after we ordered, to tell us that the kitchen/cooks didn't get our order we placed at 8:56pm and it would be another 20 minutes for our food; the food we ordered, to go... (tee time at 6:10pm, ended at 8:45pm). We made it clear that we wanted our food to go as we weren't looking to stay. and I honestly think they just didn't want to give us the 15% discount that came w/ the event. So I would rate this place a zero out of ten. The bartender was a little too friendly, and the hostess wasn't friendly enough. All in all I'd call it a professional course w/ amateur employees, as even the shuttle bus was not "to par". Even the guy who was supposed to give us swing tips (included w/ event) fell short of our expectation. I honestly get better service from metro park golf course down the road; then these shmucks at this "establishment" Yikes! I'm sure people who "look like" golfers have a great time...........

Avocado Toast.

I had Chambers Bay Grill on my bookmarks and it wasn't really because I heard good things about it but it was more of a draw and an excuse (not that one was needed) to go to Chambers Bay itself which is just so very beautiful so that association alone is what prompted me to add this place. And the hope that a lot of gophers that go here the restaurant just may be getting a bad rap for no reason. But alas the reviews and overall average didn't exactly lead me wrong at all. Some of the complaints that people indicated in their reviews I didn't detect but my own disappointment was with the food. I am not a huge breakfast eater anyway but I do like Avocado Toast around the morning hours and that is what I got. The avocado itself was made into a spread on my toast which is normal for this dish but unfortunately avocado and how it tastes can be a tricky one. The avocado on my toast didn't taste fresh at all but more something that was less on the natural side and loaded with preservatives. There was also an odd olive or oily flavor to the avocado which was totally out of place for this dish. I ate it all but it was not all that impressive. Steve got a breakfast burrito and we both decided we liked that dish was one we liked better over mine. But rather than having salsa to go with the burrito it was accompanied by ketchup? Another head scratching moment. Despite the placement of the restaurant you don't get much view of Chambers Bay at all if you sit inside but it looks like in the summer you can sit outside and get the view in then. But perhaps just get drinks... there are better restaurant options not far away from the park.

We went for my Human's birthday weekend! It was gorgeous despite having to sit inside. The service was quick, the Bloody Mary was really yummy. We order 2 entrees, Bloody Mary, and a cider. I think our favorite part was the service as well as the PoTaToeS!!! It was a tri-mix of purple, regular, and yams! They were roasted to perfection with the perfect amount of salt and seasoning! We enjoyed it thoroughly! Definitely will be back when outdoor seating is open!

Underwhelming in every way. Small square room with regular sized windows- shame because it's such a beautiful spot. Food was mediocre at best. Bartender was very nice and was the best part of the visit. Too bad.

Should say closes at 4:30pm
Donna K.

Came around 4:45pm, sun was not set yet, and just wanted a quick appetizer & drink and they didn't seat us. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth when a restaurant does that to me and will not be coming back. They need to change their times to "closes at 4:30pm".

We came in at a good time as there were two tables with two chairs available so we were immediately seated and given waters and menus. The staff here are great about checking in often and being pleasant. The bathroom here is clean and they even have a changing station inside. The restaurant is clean and the staff come to refill or grab dirty plates quite often. My boyfriend got the lavender latte and two eggs and sausages while I got the smoked honey ham eggs benedict and a rose lemonade. I forgot that the specialty lemonades are not free refill but they do give you a lot. The lavender latte was soothing and the rose lemonade was light. The food came not too long after and the portions here are huge. My boyfriend's order came with a side of blackberry jam that was fantastic. I believe it is housemade and I need to see if they sell it because it is some of the best jams ever. Even has actual pieces of blackberry! They gave me so much ham and the hollandaise here paired well with everything, I even had a bit of jam with it and the flavors were simply divine.

They made it, accommodated it, and it all flowed and tasted wonderful. I had the drip coffee, which was fine not too strong and had good flavor. The service was impeccable and friendly. The kitchen was clean and well kept, and the coffee areas were clean and well maintained. It was just a wonderful breakfast. I will return.

It was the fluffiest inside with a nice crisp outside. They had a salsa between the waffle and chorizo, amazing. 10/10. My friends also enjoyed their food. They didn't have a caramel iced coffee on their menu but they said they could make it and they sure could. Top 3 coffees of my life. I tried it, finished it, and ordered another one to go. 20/10. The staff was really nice, it wasn't too busy so the vibes were what I was hoping from the pnw. The chef brought out our food, very nice guy. Everything was sooo good. I'm not sure what they put in the food here, but it's addictive. The food is extremely flavorful and filling. I typically eat half of the sandwich for breakfast and the second half for lunch and am still full for the majority of the day. My sister and I had a great time here. It's in a little gas station strip mall parking lot area…read more There's no big signs. Let's say what it is until you get to the restaurant. Once you walk in, it's like a step back in time where you get a bunch of 60s and 70s memorabilia that was just fun We got greeted by the person who was running the cashier and really set the tone for the visit, which was very friendly on a lot of fun We told him that we never been there before and he explained the whole menu and said that they're really good at cheesecake and breakfast items We had to order our food and then find out where we wanted to sit. The chairs were like old school chairs from like the early 80s, which was kind of cool to sit in. They called your name over an intercom, which means you have to come up to the register to pick up your food. I ordered a bloody Mary as you can see by the pictures and it was absolutely phenomenal spicy and picklely all the same time I highly recommend this place. We even took cheesecakes to go home later on with which we've already tried and they were absolutely phenomenal. The biscuits/muffins are very fluffy and they are probably some of the best in Washington state

So.........restaurant business is hard! We love this place but the food is I feel barely hanging on…read moreand it is more of a community comfort food place. Which there is nothing wrong with that. The service is ways excellent here!!!! The vibe of this place is amazing. The jambalaya and cornbread is so mouth watering it would make you not share it with your one family. But here is the tea!!! I can see where some of the food needs improvement but most restaurants these days are in the same situation. There are items I would not order again but others I love and a person must pick and choose their own individual items based on their preferences. I appreciate the restaurant being in busy and please get your food rating back to Great! Because Fair had me a bit side ways. Has always thank you all for your support and please continue to stay safe and healthy out there! See you at my next bite :0)

I ordered PAC SOUTH omelette. No green onions, chose hash browns instead of toast and had side biscuit and gravy. Unfortunately the hash browns were really crackly dry. Maybe I should've had the red potatoes instead. The Omelette was surprisingly good. The sweetness of the pork with the bbq sauce was fascinating and tasty. If I had it again I'd ask to add a squirt of bbq inside or ask for more sauce on top. Hubby ordered the Shrimp and Grits. They were great and better than most places we've had them out. Hubby crumbled his side of bacon on top. They were Creamy, savory, cheesy and served piping hot. Jenny said sometimes people ask to add andouille sausage or catfish on top. Last - OMG that was a THICK biscuit! It was super dense. The gravy was delicious. But the biscuit takes up most the room on the plate. So my gravy to biscuit ratio was off. I still took half my omelet and half my biscuit in a to go box. Left the hash browns. They have BIG portions. Amazing atmosphere and service. If you come in from the front door there is a small counter seating area as well as booths and tables. Beyond that main room there is more space in the back. Keeping this place on the list for sure!!!
