Good food, attached to bar, good service, no complaints, good clean environment. Kinda priced high but I would come back for the food.

Solid 3.5 overall…read more We like this place but I probably ordered the wrong thing on the menu - the vermicelli bowl with peanut sauce and the nuac Cham sauce. While the salmon BLT and grilled turkey sandwiches were fine, the bowl was not. The nuac Cham sauce had no fish sauce or taste and the peanut sauce did not taste like peanut sauce and was super thick. It was a bit weird with pickles at the bottom. Normally, the dish has jalapeño and the cucumbers are cut in strips v. Slices. The noodles seemed overcooked. The Portions are decent. We give the sandwiches 4 stars but the bowl is a 3 for taste. Everything else is good- service, average noise. Street parking but fairly easy to find a spot close by.

The poutine is what we started with, the fries were piping hot, the gravy was rich and delicious, and did I mention there was bacon jam in there? Since we had the poutine as an appetizer, we opted to get salads instead of the side fries for our burgers and sandwiches. I have to admit this is one of the most impressive side salads I've ever had. The greens were so fresh! On special they had their homemade clam chowder which checked all the boxes, it had a great balance of meat to potato to herb. I will be dreaming about this for the rest of my life. If you see it on special you need to get it. My group ordered the mushroom burger, the the bacon jamburger, and the French dip which we split three ways. And when I tell you we fought over keeping our own. I am not lying. The burgers were juicy, the toppings were generous and well balanced. The French dip had roast beef that just melted in your mouth. For the first time. I don't think I needed the au jus. One of my party ordered the truffle gnocchi with wild mushrooms. I don't know how, but it was somehow light, not too rich, and the gnocchi soft pillows had the perfect fluffy texture. We did have to take most of our food home because the portions were generous. And somehow the gnocchi reheated. Well. I'm going to call that a miracle. All in all, if you're anywhere near Enumclaw you need to go here. We made the trip from Puyallup because my dad could not stop raving about the poutine. Next time I'm in town. I will be back!

We came here on a Saturday night to celebrate my sister's birthday and were very impressed overall…read more The warm bread with oil was a great start, and the loaded potato skins ($13) were delicious even without the ranch. Drinks were solid and fairly priced: a spruce tip golden ale ($6.75), Modelo ($6), margarita ($15), and two glasses of German Riesling ($23). Entrees included chicken Florentine (subbed with shrimp for +$3), chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and fettuccine primavera (with shrimp for +$7). Everything came out hot, seasoned well, and very tasty, though my Florentine was light on spinach. Desserts were a highlight--raspberry cheesecake that was fluffy and creamy with a good crust, and a rich crème brûlée that disappeared quickly. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, set in what feels like an old home. Inside has around 15 tables and can get loud; the staff accommodated our request to move outside to the porch, which turned out to be perfect. Service was friendly, though our server forgot small requests like bread and to-go boxes until later. Prices felt fair, portions were generous, and the menu is well-balanced. My only real nitpicks: no Pinot Noir on the wine list (surprising for the PNW), and the Florentine could use more spinach. Parking is limited to a few street spots or a dirt lot across the way that seemed fine. Bottom line: excellent food, cozy atmosphere, and a great value. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area--and even worth a little road trip.

During our visit it was 'seat yourself' and a waitress came right over with menus and took our drink order. As it was early, we ordered coffee and water. Coffee is good and hot. Cream on table with salt, pepper, hot sauce and ketchup. Our beverages were brought over by another staff member, Paula, who told us our waitress would be right with us. Except she wasn't. After ten minutes I was worried. After 20 minutes I was getting concerned. Our waitress showed up shortly there after and we placed our order. Paula came around a few times refilling coffees, clearing tables and bringing checks. I wandered into their bakery area while waiting for our food, took photos, read the info there and then out to the historic bar area to check it out. You can order cakes and cheese cakes from their bakery as well as take a slice to-go, or enjoy a slice in house. Our waitress saw me there on her way into the kitchen and asked if I needed something. "No, just looking". OK then. We think our waitress was working both the kitchen and the dining room which is why she was often out of sight. So two staff in FOH with one of them helping BOH. That's a lot. She brought our food when ready plus a selectiin of jams for our english muffin. We asked for silverware which she promotly brought. The marionberry jam, a hybrid blackberry from Oregon, is excellent. The food is quite good. Corned beef hash is without a doubt made fresh. Big pieces of shredded beef with potatoes and lots of fresh spices. This hash has a zing to it. We both ordered the small portion of their corned beef so it came with one egg (instead of two) and we chose english muffin (instead of toast) and got half each (vs. a whole each). With a side of their potatoes, which were also good and plentiful, we had enough left overs for breakfast the next day. Which we also enjoyed. All told, we were in and out in one hour. Food was very good. We always had coffee. We thought our waitress was unfriendly, but she's just super busy. So five stars for holding down the dining rooms with two staff members and serving tasty, well prepared food. Paula processed our card payment. Forgot to check out the restrooms. I think they are in the last dining area (where a big business meeting of some company was going on at the time) behind the bar room.

They also easily accommodated a table change due the air conditioner blowing directly on me. I ordered an omelette with sausage, spinach and cheese. Comes with toast and hash browns. If you have had Spanish Patatas Bravas, then you'll know that dish is primarily potatoes, and that's the experience you would expect. However, this is an American breakfast joint that probably is not trying to make Patatas Bravas. When the food came, it was cold. When my wife confronted the lead waitress about it, she said, "wow, you must be pissed. We've never had a complaint before." To credit the staff, they grudgingly refunded the amount of our meal, and were testy about our complaints. They seemed to not care because they said "if you ever decide to come back again" which shouldn't ever be said to any customer. We make the choice to come, and we felt like the restaurant is trying to cut costs through using cheaper ingredients. In this case, a lot of poorly cooked and soggy potatoes. We were not impressed. Maybe the other items on the menu are much better? Scrambles had their own box on the menu, and seemed to be their signature dishes. A lot less potatoes would be a major improvement. Better yet, hearing feedback from customers and acting on it, even better. Most of the fixes are simple. Adjust the ingredients. Everything needs to be served much hotter! The blueberry muffin arrived barely warmed, too dry and without any butter. I felt the whole dining experience could have been much better.
