We actually had other restaurants in mind, but decided to try this place since a couple of the other ones were not open yet or food service was not happening. We were seated at a table very quickly, as the place was relatively empty. We were offered water or beverages very quickly. After that, it took a while to get the server to come back and take our order. From a casual observation perspective, there were people working, but did not seem to be proactive with clearing tables, pulling orders from the window and delivering them to tables without somebody else prompting them. Our server, seemed to be doing most everything in the Restaurant. Seemed very inefficient. Once we ordered and got our food, which was the Chicken Caesar salad, sweet potato fries, Carne Asada appetizer tacos. And a local beers, or close enough. Pleasantly pleased with the flavor, portion size, temperature. All good. My rating dropped, as it took a while to get our bill, close things out, as it started to get a little bit busier, and we had to be very proactive to try and get our server, who was running the restaurant, to bring us our bill.

The steady menu is always very consistent quality. The service is great, like you must be friendly to work there. The ambiance is drive-in with a slight touch of diner. The burgers remind me of a hybrid between Great State and Dick's Burgers. The shakes are uh-maz-ingggg. They also serve Dole whip, Whizzers (Blizzards), Sundaes, floats, and cones (including swirl! McDonald's doesnt even do that anymore). They also have fish, they make their own homemade chowder (yet to try), sandwiches, etc. My kids learned to like white fish by trying the fish here. Not my liking, but they enjoy it quite a bit. All the sides and extras are excellent. I wish the Mac and cheese bites were less zesty and more salty, but I'm a dreamer. Wally's has sold or is selling ownership, so I hope they remain the same general quality and taste they've had since I first started going here. Until quality, service, or something showstopping changes we'll continue to enjoy our meals there. Definitely recommend eating at Wally's.

Not wanting her to have a repeat, I asked her to think about a restaurant choice for dinner. Well guess what? She was so impressed with the restaurant, its vibe, and great food and service... We went back for dinner as well! Absolutely loved it! Haven't had such amazing Italian cuisine since our trip to Italy last year! We will be definitely returning soon!!!

This…read moreparticular restaurant is a food stand connected to a gas station with just a couple of seats outside. They're pretty efficient so we had our food within a couple of minutes. Pita Burrito, Carne Asada ($16.27) - Huge burrito incoming, probably over 2 lb. I would say similar to Mission-sized, but the interior ingredients are not quite up to standard. Still, very impressive for the region. There's a large tortilla, warm and pliable, absolutely filled with tons of stuff. Firstly, a very good portion of beef, not seasoned much other than salt, but giving a great beefy flavor. The beef chunks are crisped up on the flat top perfectly, giving plenty of texture. This does dry out the meat, so there's a tradeoff, but that's what the cheese, guac and sour cream are for. Enough moisture is included so that, while not nearly as messy to eat as a typical Mission burrito, it's enough for each bite. There's a well balanced portion of rice and beans as well. The construction is pretty good so the burrito can be eaten in the hand without issues. (5/5) Is this the best burrito in the world, as some people seem to think? No way, but I think it's very solid for being in Washington and is one of the best I've had since moving to the state. Note: Pita's charges a little extra for credit card usage. I'm not sure how much percentage (it was 27 cents for us), and I don't recall them having a sign up stating they charge for credit cards.
