My husband and I have been regulars here for a while but we will never be back after last night. We love the bartenders but the owner who's only there about twice a year is highly disrespectful to her customers when she is there. There's tons of drunk people who actually need to be cut off but singles out the quiet ones and cut them off. First time writing a review here but feel compelled in the hopes of saving one our favorite places to have steak here in Enumclaw. In general I feel there has been a decline in the service. The last three times my wife and I have gone there for her fav "Steak Salad", we ended up just leaving due to lack of service having sat waiting for 10 minutes without so much of an acknowledgement of our presence. This place has good food but the service has been slipping badly lately where most of the attention is toward the regulars at the bar and counting out pull tabs. If you're gong to serve food, dedicate someone to watch the floor instead of flauntering around on the stage behind the bar. read more

Out of town for a work project and looking for a restaurant within walking distance of the hotel and gave this place a shot. The service is ok, the waitress was robotic taking our drink and food order. Bar has a rustic feel to it with wooden floors, chairs, wire wheel tables and open space. A young passionate cook with a eye for flavor and detail to presentation. I ordered the ribeye steak with a baked potato loaded . Every part of the meal was delicious. Salad was fresh and exactly as I ordered the Steak cooked perfectly with a handsome amount of seasoning. Baked potato was just as advertised " loaded " The vegetables had a rub with a cinnamon flavor that elevated the simple side dish to something that was arguably the second best part of the dish . I just wonder why it's ok for Seedars bar staff to harass the customer. I have been nothing but kind to bar manager Lexi and she has made it her quest to be rude and very unkind it's called professionalism I don't like the B but always say please and thank you. Last night I never started a tab I ordered with Dave used cash then at end of night Lexi said I had ordered a shot my gf was gonna pay and Lexi wouldn't let her saying I had to pay I was confused but just paid cash for the drink left her a whopping 50 cent tip because she alway talks crap and is rude. Came in around 6 pm new years eve night. Was not happy or impressed. There were two girls "working" the bar. I work in a bar, that is the biggest pull tab bar in the state of Washington. I get it, they had pull tab players. However, they had two girls working. One should have been taking care of tables while the other the bar rail and pull tabs. But one literally never smiled the whole time or even seemed to care about other guests. And the other poor girl was trying to do everything. Food took about 40 minutes to come out. And was not great. The menu is a joke. Nothing describing the dishes or any sort of organization to it. I will not be back. read more

They have truly turned this place around, the new manager has had many years of experience and it shows!! Its a total 180 and the team they have now is the best of the best bartenders and chefs on the platue. HORRIBLE service. We came to Enumclaw on business, decided to get food in this place after. The bartender was nice but the food took over an hour to arrive, and it wasn't even busy. Only one other table ahead of us, some locals that seemed to get their food PDQ. After about 30 minutes we started asking where our food was, they told us it would be out soon and blamed it on that table of 4 that apparently caused the kitchen to grind to a halt, LOL. At about 50 mintues we were furious and ready to give up on the food ever arriving and asked to cash out so we could go to McDonalds instead, and the bartender again promised the food would be right out. About ten minutes later we got our burgers and mine was very undercooked, more or less raw in the middle. My associate did like his though. I'm a gentleman and I worked as a line cook and bartender for 10 years, so I tipped well in spite of infuriatingly bad service. We got home very late thanks to this screwball, amateur diner and my other associate was furious for having wasted so much time in this place. NEVER AGAIN. Whoever owns this place needs to fire the cook and get someone who doesn't hate out of towners so much they would ruin their night with awful service. The nastiness from the locals was evident in the way a couple of them rudely took our condiments when we were in the middle of using them. There's some major prejudice in this place. We really wanted to like this place but it was just a horrible experience. They brought the appetizers with the meal which was a bummer because we waited so long for the food to come out the appetizers would have made the wait seem not so long. When the food did come it all came separately, no joke they brought the meals out 2 at a time and by the time they brought out the next 2 the pervious people had already finished their meal. I ordered a B.O.A burger (A for avocado) my avocado was rock hard because it was so green. The burger with very very dry. Service was bad, no one ever acknowledged us during our long wait as we sat with empty drinks on the table. Only thing that was good were the bacon wrapped peppers. You can tell this bar wants to be a hip dive bar with good food but they fall short. Huge disappointment. If you can only handle a typical bar food menu that's what you should stick to, don't try to put out a menu with creative menus items. read more
