    The delicious meatball sub
    Scott S.

A wonderful bar and restaurant just a few minutes off the I-5 traveling north from the Oregon border toward Olympia. Great ambiance and excellent sandwiches. Highly recommend the French dip and the meatball sub. Well worth the five minute drive off the freeway into the super quant town of Toledo. They also have an impressive pizza menu all made and roasted in house. Very kind folks and makes you feel like you're in America's favorite local spots. And their draft beef selection offers fun choices of local northern Oregon brews and Seattle based suds. The nautical theme is charming and the staff is friendly, warm and wonderful. So well worth the drive off the I-5.

I ordered the Allan's Chicken Swiss Melt with a side salad. Both were very good. It will be hard to order something different next time we visit, but, the menu has so many things on it that sound great, I will have to. Steve had the Walk the Plank Pizza and was also very happy with his choice. Comfortable atmosphere and really good service too!

Food is amazing and they're always friendly and it's conveniently right across the street from my doctor so if you're ever at Vally view in Toledo walk across the street for lunch when you're done , I had the cod for the first time the other day. Oh my goodness in their house Tatar Yum Yum Yum.

Really enjoyed my meal here. I drove 30 ish minutes to get here from Longview. You seat yourself. I came with my mom and two kids. Very well priced and food was excellent. Their milkshakes are amazing. I got the tidal wave blackberry cheesecake shake and my daughter got a basic chocolate shake. Shakes are easily big enough for 2 people. My mom got a burger which was huge and fresh! I got their club sandwiches and I could only eat a quarter of it. I personally didn't care for their pizza which my son had but he liked it. Service was great. We will be back.

The service was even better. Our server talked with us for a bit, and she explained everything to us. The manger came and asked us how it everything was, and we told him how good it was. We ended up having a really nice conversation. I highly recommend eating here. They are a chef-owned operation, and the food shows it. We travel up to the area often, so we definitely will be back!

Regardless, we all found something of interest; some of us were repeat diners. I ordered the chicken sandwich, as have read many reviews about their chicken being some of the best in town; my chosen side was fries. Despite our group of appx 8, service was quick both when ordering & food being brought out. Our server was good about asking specifics as we ordered, such as sauces for fries, salad dressing wanted etc. I recall always having great service when at this location, whether being seated in the lounge or the restaurant. My chicken sandwich was good, served on a hoagie style roll. The fries were good, but not as hot as I would've liked, similar to my last time there. I had asked for ranch sauce & ketchup for dipping my fries in, of which the latter was correctly served but seems as though I got some aioli instead of ranch. Whereas I agree the chicken was good: a deboned chicken breast butterflied, but for my tastes, the spices in the breading was a bit on the heavy side. The hoagie roll was good also, but with sourdough being the only white bread I prefer to eat, I may ask for other options if I order the same meal again. Overall, a very nice place to go: ambiance & decor, service & food!

Do not let those comments and the low star rating discourage you from trying Jeremy's. Our experience was wonderful. Not sure if we ever met the manager, but the wait staff was great! It is a large, clean restaurant with plenty of seating. This would be a great place to have a large gathering. The bathrooms were also very clean. Both of those factors are signs of a promising dining experience, imho! I ordered the bacon ranch chicken burger with fries, ranch and honey mustard on the side. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger with onions rings and a cup of their soup of the day: Tuscan Italian Sausage soup. We also got the cheese curds for an appetizer. The curds were yummy. Crisp, light, chewy with a side of garlic aioli. the flavor combo was delish! My only complaint was the portion size. For $15.00 appetizer, i was hoping it would have been larger...or possibly keep the same portion size but lower the price point. Other than that, we did enjoy them. The soup was delicious, too! It was thick and creamy with large chunks of potato and sausage. It had a nice spicy kick to it. My husband enjoyed it very much. Our sandwiches came out hot, and again: delicious! Good portions, too. The onion rings were really unique. Large, thick slices of onion and a unique breading. Not your typical beer batter, but a lighter coating that tasted like it could have been cornmeal based? They were good! My fries weren't bad, either. They weren't heavy and greasy, like a lot of fries. I liked that. The burger was cooked medium as requested by my husband. My chicken burger was a delicious grilled chicken breast...a real breast and not some gross pressed chicken patty. The ranch and honey mustard were both house made. Sooooo good. The ranch was really dilly and I loved that! Did Jeremy's pass the test? Absolutely! When my husband announced "I'd eat here again", I knew we made a good restaurant choice! I agree. We will eat there again! **They also offer a 10% discount on senior, military and first responder meals. THAT was cool! Two thumbs up for Jeremy's!

Rambling Jacks Rib Eye - Our Always-Stop Spot on the Way to Seattle…read more We stopped in for a late breakfast on our drive to Seattle and, as usual, it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and I went with the Ranch Hand scramble. We split both (highly recommend doing this if you can't decide), and the portions were so generous that more than half of my scramble came home with us. What's impressive is that with portions this big, you'd expect something to give on quality -- but not here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is part of what keeps us coming back. The restaurant has that cozy, rustic charm and there's a cute little gift shop up front that's impossible to walk past without browsing. This time we grabbed some Valentine's white chocolates to take on the road -- such a fun touch. This has become one of our must-stop traditions to and from Seattle, and it's consistently worth it every single time.
