I ordered a 12 oz decaf latte. By the time I realized I drank caffeinated coffee it was too late. I don't drink coffee and even decaf is rather rare. Needless to say I had a very rough morning and the rest of the day due to the poor reaction to caffeine. I double checked my receipt and it confirmed that they charged me for caffeinated latte. This was so irresponsible of the baristas. Never coming back here again. read more

I've been looking for a local place to buy coffee beans and unfortunately, this will not be it. I was thrown off when I noticed the menu has no prices on anything. To me, this means items will be overpriced, and boy was I right. Almost $7 for two small coffees? Yikes. Took over priced coffees to the cart to add cream and sugar and found no cream. Odd. Asked barista for cream and was given a look like I had 3 heads. She held up carton of cream and offered to add cream. I had her pour some in and then she walked away without offering any to my husband even though he was standing right next to me with coffee in hand. Didn't feel comfortable calling after her for cream for his so we sat down. Coffee was awful, It was a bit better with cream. Overall an overpriced and uncomfortable experience. read more

OMG this place is my jam. Perfect spiced chai. Breakfast sandwiches are delectable. Everyone goes home happy here...even our Great Dane. He starts shaking as we approach the drive thru. They're kind to give him a big dog serving of a pup cup. Plenty of seating inside and spaces to enjoy coffee and work or do homework. Lots of parking. We always use their gift cards and refill for $35 and you get a free drink each time! Staff always greets us with a smile and service is efficient. read more

They have a Mayan mocha that has cayenne in it. I am eternally addicted to those things. If you are looking for a great place for coffee that gives a lot of options for milk and keto friendly coffee look no further. Delicious coffee with a lot of sugar free choices! The baristas are so friendly, fast and consistent. I like my coffee drink tasting as I expect day to day, and they mail it every time. Granola bar and sausage breakfast sandwich are my fav treats, but it's all tasty! read more

We love this coffee place we were looking for coffee driving out to Seattle and wow was this place good, we have stopped her several other time going that way yesterday we just drove from Beaverton all the way to Kelso, Wa just to get coffee from them worth the drive each time we even got some coffee beans to bring home as well very friendly customer service each time we have gone there. Great concept, great coffee and pastries, great staff, great locations ! My personal favorites are the Artic Gold Rush blended coffee and at Christmas time the owner makes a limited edition peppermint cookie that comes in a box with a fork and knife and when they are gone they are gone. It is the most delicious, non peppermint aggressive cookie that melts in your mouth. Wish they had it all year round!!! read more

Was loving their Holiday Blend this year and stopped by Kelso location on way to beach last weekend to buy more. They were done selling it but the owner (I presume) said she had a couple bags in her car so I said I would gladly take them! Very cool little coffee place just across the bridge in downtown Kelso. Worth the drive if you're on I-5. I would be grabbing breakfast sandwiches here a couple of times a week if I lived nearby. This is a blessed gem in the Kelso/Longview area. The coffee itself is decent. Is it the best coffee ever? No. Is it substantially better than Starbucks and most rural-ish espresso joints? Hell yeah. Where this place really shines is the sheer number of "specialty" drinks they offer and how veg-friendly they are. Hot or iced coffee, blended drinks, smoothies, flavored ice tea, the list goes on. For alternative milks they have hemp, almond, coconut, and macadamia nut. IN KELSO! Their smoothies are naturally vegan and they can sub vegan protein in their protein shakes. They've even got vegan pastries/light bites. They're also regularly featuring creative flavor combos for drinks. I'm not that adventurous or sugar deprived, but I appreciate the originality. My fave thing here, though, is the Arctic Matcha. I work in tea and their matcha is surprisingly yummy. Blended with hemp milk you've got a 100% vegan, low calorie, antioxidant-rich, super refreshing beverage for those hot summer days. Forget milkshakes and slurpees. 3x now I've been here for coffee and snacks and have tried one of their smoothies as well. While I think the coffee and goods are decent and the staff friendly enough, I've yet to identify the 5 star factor..? Perhaps like many, I've returned because of the accommodations for alternative dietary needs and convenient location. Organic is also a MAJOR plus. Still, I've tried a number of their espresso options including their popular "Gold Rush". Its good, but not magical. The coffee may be organic but does it taste 5 star? I guess that's all preference. Last week I went for breakfast and had one of their egg, bacon, and cheese sandwiches on sourdough. Really underwhelming, small, and the bread was not so great. Hmm. Having an organic coffee shop with alternative options in a convenient setting is a major benefit for the Longview community, so kudos to Red Leaf. For now they are the primary game in town (that I know of!). Still waiting for that magic though! read more

New to the area and PNW in general so I've been enjoying trying all the local places, especially coffee. I will say though, Red Leaf takes the cake!! Went through the drive thru and I'm pretty plain, vanilla latte, but the owner happened to be working and she was SO NICE!!! Told me how they get their vanilla from bend and welcomed me to community. I didn't get any food but judging by the menu I will. There are so many healthy options and things that just sound plain yummy. I'm looking forward to making this my regular spot! read more

Best option for coffee in Longview in my opinion. Staff are always super friendly and I've never had any issues with my order. The coffee overall is much better than Starbucks and any other local coffee shops I've been to in the past. A little more expensive but I feel it's worth it. read more
