    Chicken Fried Steak

Absolutely amazing! We had a party of 7 at 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday morning, and every single one of us was in awe about how good the food was. I was with 6 hungry men, so I wasn't fast enough to capture photos of all the food before they dug in. I had the Big Foot Burrito: scrambled eggs, cottage potatoes, bacon and sausage, cheddar cheese, all wrapped in a tortilla a grilled up to perfection. I don't want to exaggerate, but it was probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've had in awhile. The Chicken Fried steak, which my friend devoured without sharing with me, said it was just heavenly. They also had "day old" baked goods for $1, and I bought a Lemon Poppyseed scone to snack on later. Oh my gosh. I wish I had bought everything they had left in the basket. It was so moist and delicious. I'm definitely coming back here next year when we're back in the area again!

What a fun little spot with nice owners. They have limited hours and days they are open so either plan your trip accordingly or hope you are traveling by at the right time because they have excellent baked goods. We had their cinnamon roll and chocolate croissant. I can't wait to return for breakfast in a few days.

They quickly made space for us and welcomed us like we'd been coming there for years. The food? Incredible. My mom and dad ordered the Bunkhouse French Toast platter, my brother and husband went for the Wondering Burrito, I had the chicken bacon provolone melt, and my sister-in-law had a bagel sandwich. Every single plate came out generous, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The portions were big enough to make you consider loosening your belt, and worth every bite. But honestly, what made this place special wasn't just the food, it was the feeling. The staff served us with such genuine warmth, it felt more like being in someone's home than a restaurant. The café itself is charming, with a cute rustic vibe that adds to the whole experience. You can tell this is a true local favorite. People greeted each other, shared smiles, and even struck up friendly conversations with us. It's one of those rare places where you walk in as a stranger and leave feeling like part of the community. Would I recommend Patty Cake? That's an easy one. Absolutely, without a doubt.

The menu has a variety of entrees, sandwiches, salads, sides, and desserts to choose from. The exterior has great signage, and you can find a 24hr pie vending machine out front. The interior is cozy, with that typical diner feel. Half of the space is a shop where you can take home frozen meals, buy candles, jams, and a variety of other things Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. She walked us through some favorites, and explained a couple other dishes The Rueben looked less than impressive when it arrived, but I must say it was once of the best tasting Rueben's I've ever had. And the pies... are a must try. Some tips: Definitely order a slice of pie. There are roughly 10 flavors to choose from and you can add cream or ice cream (a-la-mode). Try one of the many Marion berry offerings. This is a local berry similar to the blackberry, and you can order pies, lemonades, shakes, and there's even a Marion berry mustard on the table to enjoy. Visit the shop and take home some frozen meals for later like pot pie. Cheers!!

We stopped in on a lazy Wednesday afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all. The waitress was friendly and quick. She brought water and menus, and came back to take our order in timely fashion. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Swiss special with tater tots, my husband got the Patty Melt with tots. The food came quickly and was nice and hot. The sandwiches were grilled perfectly and chock full of meat! I could only eat half of my sandwich, it was filling. The tots were crisp and crunchy, but soft in the middle, as tots should be! My husband said the Patty Melt was delicious. He was pleased with the quality of the burger inside. We were both well pleased! The bathrooms were also very spacious and clean! That's always a good sign, if you ask me! There is also a nice parking area right out in front of the restaurant. Don't hesitate to swing on into the Duck Inn if you happen to be going by. It's mostly fried food. We ordered prime rib and it was thin, very little fat on it so minimal flavor and way overcooked. They said they basically cooked it in the au jus which is not a good way to cook prime rib. It was clearly not a high grade cut. I want this place to be good so bad! I really wish they would seek some guidance to make this place a success. It could really be a destination if they put a little effort into it

Lots of things... * Staff is REMARKABLY friendly and personable * They are equally attentive and professional * The patrons were awesome, seriously. I came here alone, and no fewer than three people, each in completely different parties, approached and engaged me in conversation. This seemed like a bunch of regulars who welcome newcomers as family. The menu is much larger than expected for a bar. I opted for the pulled pork sliders, and they were FAR better than expected. The rolls were the most surprising part, they were fantastic! I don't know if they're baked on-site, but they're definitely not typical "get the job done" fare, they were superb. "Slider" also seemed to be a bit misleading because they're so generously stuffed with pork and cole slaw that they're closer to a full-sized sandwich. Prices belie the quality and portion sizes (much lower prices than I'd expect). The only minor gripe is that there are not a lot of good seats for seeing bands perform. The bar area is narrow and long, which doesn't lend itself well to seeing performances, but I was still able to do so, and the friendliness of the staff and other patrons (again, AMAZING surprise) really seemed to make up for this.

Do not let those comments and the low star rating discourage you from trying Jeremy's. Our experience was wonderful. Not sure if we ever met the manager, but the wait staff was great! It is a large, clean restaurant with plenty of seating. This would be a great place to have a large gathering. The bathrooms were also very clean. Both of those factors are signs of a promising dining experience, imho! I ordered the bacon ranch chicken burger with fries, ranch and honey mustard on the side. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger with onions rings and a cup of their soup of the day: Tuscan Italian Sausage soup. We also got the cheese curds for an appetizer. The curds were yummy. Crisp, light, chewy with a side of garlic aioli. the flavor combo was delish! My only complaint was the portion size. For $15.00 appetizer, i was hoping it would have been larger...or possibly keep the same portion size but lower the price point. Other than that, we did enjoy them. The soup was delicious, too! It was thick and creamy with large chunks of potato and sausage. It had a nice spicy kick to it. My husband enjoyed it very much. Our sandwiches came out hot, and again: delicious! Good portions, too. The onion rings were really unique. Large, thick slices of onion and a unique breading. Not your typical beer batter, but a lighter coating that tasted like it could have been cornmeal based? They were good! My fries weren't bad, either. They weren't heavy and greasy, like a lot of fries. I liked that. The burger was cooked medium as requested by my husband. My chicken burger was a delicious grilled chicken breast...a real breast and not some gross pressed chicken patty. The ranch and honey mustard were both house made. Sooooo good. The ranch was really dilly and I loved that! Did Jeremy's pass the test? Absolutely! When my husband announced "I'd eat here again", I knew we made a good restaurant choice! I agree. We will eat there again! **They also offer a 10% discount on senior, military and first responder meals. THAT was cool! Two thumbs up for Jeremy's!
