So glad to have found this hole in the wall gem! Their strawberry lemonade is so dang good!! Like take me back to the south good. I love the homey feel inside and the food is always yummy and fresh. Their sandwiches are perfect sizes, the bread is always perfectly toasted and everything on the sandwich tastes fresh. I had several family members in town for a trip to the Oregon coast. On our way back to Washington, we checked Yelp to help us pick a place to eat. So glad we found Corner Cafe! Chelsea was our server and she could not have been any kinder or more helpful! We were a little difficult at first - large party, with a dog (sat outside as he was very welcome here!), had to try to get us all in the shade since it was in the 90s, then the woman at the next table told us she was allergic to dogs so we had to rearrange the tables and then use one single table further away with the dog AND THEN that customer finished and paid her bill about 10 minutes later so we then moved AGAIN and took over her table since we could all fit in the shade that way. lol! I was very apologetic for this and she was absolutely joyful and sweet! The food was FANTASTIC! The lavender lemonade was fabulous as well! Very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Several servers helped us since we were a larger party and all were top notch! We make this drive often so we will definitely be back again and again! Thank you! read more

From the moment you walk into the cafe you're welcomed with its friendly staff and clean dining area! I ordered the biscuits and gravy and my partner went with the Chicken Fried Steak. I had to sub out allergens for fruit and she didn't charge me extra, I had two hefty sausage links, hash-browns, and FRESH fruit for $9, he had chicken-fried steak, two eggs, toast, and fruit for $9.50 and we shared a large french press of french roast (a little weak) for $4.99. Very reasonable prices for perfect amounts of food. All staff wore masks and there are plastic sheets between tables. Short wait during busy breakfast hours but no pressure at the table. After discovering Corner Cafe on Yelp (you definitely don't just drive by; you have to KNOW about this place in the new Fibre Federal Administrative bldg), and reading the reviews, decided we had to give it a try. And so very glad we did! The prices are great, the food and menu is amazing. I ordered the Uptown Benedict, he ordered the Country Benedict. I never order Benedict bec it always seems so bland and I hate poached eggs. These weren't poached and both of ours were delicious! I can't believe I ate the whole thing but it was so delicious! We were hiking Mt.St.Helens and were looking for a breakfast place in the area. I am so happy I found this place. It gets 5 stars on everything: service, food, menu, etc. It was the best hash I have ever had that was made from scratch. All recipes were authentic and tasted so good. The portions are good and they always have specials. The food and coffee were exceptional. Found our new favorite place to eat in Longview! We needed to find a place close to where we were, but also somewhere that would hopefully accommodate some dietary restrictions. I looked on Yelp and couldn't pass up this place with such great reviews! I didn't even know this place was here but I'm glad I do now. They had a special of corned beef and cabbage that looked really good, we were told it was scratch made in-house, as well as their pies which also looked delicious. We ended up with a club house and side salad (which passed the dressing test successfully lol), and a bacon mushroom omelet with grilled red potatoes (no cheese, no milk, no butter--yay!). The server was awesome didn't even bat an eye at my potentially irritating food requirements and questions. A great place, cozy and welcoming. We'll definitely be back! read more

We were optimistic given the reviews but... - showed up and were told there was a 20 minute wait (understandable) - got seated to be told there was a 35 minute wait for things from the kitchen - coffee was awful! I ordered a latte to sip on while we waited for food and it came out SO HOT the food came before it cooled to a reasonable temperature. We are new to Longview, Washington. Have discovered a true gem, Corner Cafe. Consistantly, clean, Covid aware, Fresh yummy tasting Breakfast and lunch. Had the best potato salad I have ever had and I am 59. Good selection on menu. Soup is homemade. Highly recommend if your looking for solid good tasting fresh meal and friendly service. Hash browns were perfect. Nice smaller omelette. I had bacon mushroom and spinach and as is my favourite sour cream on the side I can put on the omelette! Daughter didn't love her "hash" but I tried it and thought it was yummy . It's hard to find but it was busy and jumbled with people at almost closing time. Good pleasant service.
