Hash browns were perfect. Nice smaller omelette. I had bacon mushroom and spinach and as is my favourite sour cream on the side I can put on the omelette! Daughter didn't love her "hash" but I tried it and thought it was yummy . It's hard to find but it was busy and jumbled with people at almost closing time. Good pleasant service. Great find! Breakfast was served all day, lovely patio, great service. Food was excellent. My party had the tuna melt, a salad and eggs with spicy sausage and pancakes. It was all delicious! The pancakes are one of the ways I distinguish a good cafe from a so-so one. The pancakes here are fluffy, Golden brown, a bit on the sweet side, but overall very good. Love this restaurant!! My favorite place to eat, especially Fridays... LASAGNA SOUP is the best! I use their Homemade bread for ever sandwich I get. I was hoping for better after hearing how good this place was from my kids. My husband and I went here over the weekend and what a disappointment. I ordered the Shrimp Louie salad. This salad was smaller than a side salad. The lettuce was obviously from a bag that had cabbage, carrots and iceberg lettuce. There was about a cup of that, they added a few slices of peppers and tomatoes, and about 8 shrimp. All for 8 bucks...when you offer a salad as a meal, it better be a big salad. With many types of lettuce. And if you have to use bag lettuce at least make it tasty. Red leaf, arugula, butter lettuce, baby kale...that would have been worth the 8+ bucks... read more

Very nice staff and fast service. We got the pancake combo with eggs over medium (done perfectly), sausage patty, and pancakes. The pancakes were the worst part of the meal- flat and rubbery. The side of hash browns were under seasoned. The biscuits and gravy had great flavor but the large chunks of sausage in the gravy were quite chewy. The classic breakfast petite size was a little too petite for the price. Bacon was very tasty. Would go again because in general the prices were good but pass on the pancakes. read more

We stopped by around noon on a Saturday completely based off of Yelp ratings. We chose this restaurant over a Chinese restaurant and Mexican one up the road... we wanted something that all four of us would enjoy. Never stepped into the actual building yet chose a shady table outside. We received immediate service by a friendly server. We were also asked by a couple of other employees if we'd been helped. Service was exceptional. Food was awesome. My 9 yr olds ordered chocolate chip pancakes off the kids menu and my husband ordered oatmeal.(for my 9 year olds they could have received a little more food as they are very active and avid soccer players with bigger appetites. They could have served two pancakes instead of one but the oatmeal was sufficient for my husband.) Both of which met expectations. I ordered the reuben sandwich and also ordered an extra one to go for our older son who was at home. The sandwich seems small but was very delicious. I ordered the chicken noodle soup for myself which was awesome and the potato salad for my son. The potato salad was very bland and lacked pickles and mustard for our liking. With the oatmeal, my husband ordered homemade bread. It was fantastic! A white bread but so delicious. There were three other tables outside that had customers. We don't know how many inside. Assuming they were moderately busy, this restaurant was courteous and prompt. Amazing customer service as every employee greeted us courteously. I'm giving 5 stars because of service first. Food was similar to what I would have made ourselves at home, and probably the most important to me and my family is that someone had a DREAM in a small town and created a wonderful place to eat. read more

What a wonderful little oasis in Longview! They offered comfortable outdoor seating and was super sweet to our dog. The service was attentive and friendly. I ordered the breakfast special, California Benedict, and it was delicious. The poached eggs were correctly poached (and not overcooked) and the hash browns were obviously fresh and homemade. My husband and my son both ordered the French toast combos. The eggs were perfectly cooked to order and it came with a large portion of bacon, which was quite tasty. They also ordered the strawberries and cream sweet cream pancakes - super sweet and perfect for desert. We all also tried their smoothies. I highly recommend the strawberry banana. Overall, the portions were huge, but the price was small, and with such exceptional service, this place really earned five stars. As a side note: watch out for their biscuits. According to their sign out front, they're a bit possessive over the gravy! read more

Food is very bland. They only offer ketchup and Tabasco. Server who took our order couldn't remember who ordered what and there was only two of us. We waited for a while for refills on our water and finally had to ask for a refill and even then we got warm water, only the first initial fill was cold. Meanwhile, it's a small place and the servers are too busy gossiping about Dylan and Cole Sprouse from the Disney channel to be concerned about customers needs. This place was.... WONDERFUL! They had a Belgian Waffle with mixed berries on top complimented with a heavenly homemade whipped cream. The potatoes my spouse had were very tasty as well. We had my 2 nephews with us who are 11 and 5 years of age, and the staff was very patient with them. The food was amazing and service was great. I had the breakfast burrito and it was the best I have had in a long time. My wife had the eggs Benedict with sausage and avocado and she devoured it. Their side of fruit wasn't the usual cantaloupe mix; it had apples, bananas, grapes, and strawberries. The staff was really friendly and the space was nice.
