Sign - they're out for the day!

Located at the corner, they have a lot of pastries, and they sell out closer to the end of the day on many selections. Had a great molten egg yolk bun which was different than other bakeries. The BBQ pork bun was just so-so, while beautiful on the outside, the inside lacked enough flavor and chinese BBQ sauce to make it savory- ended up being a rather dry bun. I think also associated with the Taiwan Bakery down the street (shared logos on the bags).

One of my go to bakeries in Chinatown! They consistently have great pastries, cakes, cookies, drinks, etc. Their cakes are beautifully decorated. I highly recommend their egg tarts and bbq pork buns, they're so fluffy and plentiful in filling. Workers are friendly and efficient

This place is a gem--very clean, well-stocked, and full of incredible treats. If you have a sweet tooth, you'll love their fridge section, packed with cakes, rolls, and other desserts. They also have a fantastic selection of traditional mooncakes, including Pandan, Red Bean, Sweet Potato, and Red Lotus Seed Paste. Wait till you see their wall of savory buns and rolls. Think hotdog buns, BBQ chicken, ham and cheese, bacon pork floss, and so much more--it's like a never-ending lineup of deliciousness. And the best part? Almost everything is under $5! Very important- here's a $10 minimum for credit card purchases or you can just pay cash! The staff is super friendly, and they're always happy to help if you're not sure what to try. My personal favorites? The cheesecake and the coffee cake roll--both are chef's kiss! Highly recommend stopping by when you're in Chinatown.

Corner Cafe & Bakery is a classic Asian bakery right in the middle of Chinatown. Like most bakeries of this style, it's self-serve, so there isn't much interaction with staff, though they were friendly when needed. There is a $10 minimum for credit cards, but it's not hard to reach if you're picking up a variety of pastries. The pastries themselves are about average compared to other Chinatown bakeries. The pineapple bun is a solid choice, and they carry plenty of other staples like roll cakes, hot dog bao, and more. It's a convenient stop if you're in the area and craving familiar favorites.

Great buns and deserts to choose from! Great for snacks on the go! My boyfriend grabbed a whole variety of buns and enjoyed all of them. I got the Pandan moon cake. It had great texture and flavor.

Only got the big fluffy white bao with meat filling inside. It was so soft and fluffy. Unfortunately there was just too much bread but it was still good over with the flavors.

Late night bakery in Chinatown. Thought the pastries were just average. The customer service was friendly. Wouldn't rush to go back - but wouldn't avoid going either. Okay late night when options are limited.

The largest roast pork steam bun I have ever seen- the other not sure but was not so sweet that made it fantastic

Cute bakery in downtown Boston's Chinatown district. The name of this spot is fitting because this Bakery is literally located at the corner of a relatively busy intersection entering Chinatown. We popped in on a Friday evening after grabbing a bite. There were sweet and savory options to choose from -- fresh baked breads, pastries, tarts, cakes, and a bunch of in betweens of what an Asian bakery has to offer. We spent $50 and walked out with a box of assorted treats, and some egg tarts to share. Cravings satisfied. Support local y'all!

Exceptionally good moon cakes one of the best I've ever had. No comparison to the ones you get in the can from the grocery. If you've never had a fresh one from the bakery, you're missing out big time. The sesame paste is so good and they are not overly sweet you can really taste the sesame filling. Yum yum yum.

Good bakery. It was packed but they had some really nice looking and tasting desserts. I got some tarts (not the egg tart but another one) and a couple mousse cakes (mango and lychee). The lychee was a bit bland, but the tart and the mango mousse cakes were excellent. We saw someone purchase some bread that looked like melon pan, and we returned later to buy some, but they were already sold out, so we will most definitely be back to try those.

I come here once a week for a dessert and lunch haul. There's always a consistent yet wide variety of baked goods. I always get a couple baozi to bring to work for lunch.

Top to bottom: red lotus cake, butter milk bun, coconut cream bun

First-timer at a Chinese bakery--Quite good! Though I'm often in Chinatown, I've always been intimidated by the Chinese bakeries because of their sheer variety of unfamiliar offerings. Everything looks a little too processed and you imagine that they are over-sweetened. But, gathering up my courage, I waltzed in and scooped up a few--I was planning on trying two but had to buy 3 pastries because they have a $10 credit card minimum. Overall they were very good-- --Butter milk bun: My favorite, a really soft and airy pastry, filled with a mild marzipan-like custardy filling. Reminded me of a really fresh almond croissant. --Coconut cream bun: Soft fluffy outer bun, a little chewy, with a white cream filling that tastes subtly of coconut and is only mildly sweet. Very good. --Red Lotus cake: The most challenging of the 3, this was a visually beautiful round pastry, and the top was imprinted with Chinese lettering and other designs, like a mandala. Most of the interior is a plum colored red lotus paste, dense, mildly sweet, but just not a flavor I enjoyed much--probably an acquired taste. Happily, I barely scratched the surface of Cafe Corner and there are lots of other things to try in the future!

I had ordered for pickup for a designated time, however finished my meetings sooner than expected and so arrived there around an hour early and asked if they could prepare the food at that time and they very kindly did. It was a 15-20 minute wait but that was totally fine! The space is cozy and quite crowded as always. Like that they added the extra doorway for winter to keep the inside warm. I ordered the chicken & vegetable soup - I think Tatte's version might be my favorite chicken soup - it's just right with the mix of tender chicken, veggies and has white beans- mild flavors- yummy!! I want to try and recreate it at home one day. The chicken pita sandwich is another favorite- really hearty with plenty of chicken and love the cucumbers and tomatoes and the sauce - perfect! I also ordered the salmon dish with the seasonal veggies- the crust was so crispy - it felt like the skin but didn't look like it very curious! Lots of food - had enough for leftovers for another lunch!!

The meal options are all on laminated pages instead of on a big board, but they did have a lot of good options. We started with regular drip coffee which was ready quickly and we could sweeten to our liking. We tried the house breakfast which was two eggs any style (got them fluffy and scrambled), crispy bacon, cheesy potato fritters with tomato jam (similar to ketchup), and sourdough bread (we asked for butter) it was all very filling and some nice spins on a traditional breakfast. The bakery selection is out of this world - from breakfast pastries to delicately crafted desserts. The cinnamon and pecan rose was just like the center of a cinnamon bun, which was fantastic. It was big enough for two people to indulge without overdoing it. There weren't a lot of outlets, so not ideal for long term laptop use, but the food came quickly, it wasn't too loud even with a ton of people coming in and out. The prices were reasonable, and everything tasted amazing.

Unfortunately there is a not a clear online menu that is up to date with all the restaurants and their individual menus on the main Time Out Market website. You have to go into each restaurant and look at their online ordering POS to get to the menu. It was hard to decide what to eat because I could not look at all the options all at once, i had to walk around and look at the individual restaurant menus one at a time. I ended up choosing the Italian food place POE-lenta. I had a very tasty Creamy Chicken Rigatoni. It came with spicy crushed red pepper and grilled lemon as well. It was a good choice and was enjoyable. I did not finish all the chicken but it was pretty good. I also ordered a very yummy mocktail from the bar. I got a Coco Pom, which the bartender described as kind of a pina colada without the rum and with a pomegranate twist. It was really good, I drank it all. They also have convenient cups and a water tap to fill your water by the the two bars. The restroom was huge and very nice, but the stalls are so dark inside, the lighting was so dim I could not really see anything. I think the building should really work on those light levels. There was some appearance of construction ongoing in the hallway to the restrooms. Time Out is a great place to stop and spend some time, with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. She had a really good vibe coming off her which I love. Five stars for her! So the mocha gets 3 stars, the girl who helped me gets five stars. I may get a cookie to go but haven't decided if I wanna spend $5.75 plus tax on a cookie. The mocha was $5.25 plus tax alone. And the cookies really aren't as big as people say they are.
