Stopped by this place while walking around Chinatown. The shop was a little hard to locate since it's located inside a little food court. I actually missed it at first until my husband pointed it out to me. The shop is located at the end of the food court area and it was a little cramped there since everyone was waiting for their orders. I also did not notice any seating area so we ordered and ate outside. As someone who had authentic egg waffles from Hong Kong, this place isn't bad but it isn't as good as the ones in Hong Kong. The egg puffs were not consistent and some pieces were crispier compared to others. However, the batter was pretty good though.

Very yummy red bean bubble waffle. Red bean filling is made from real red beans, not paste. Bubble waffle is made fresh and tastes super good, especially when still hot. Bubble shape allows for easy snacking piece by piece, or you can chomp down on it. Very convenient to hold in bag as you stroll around. The woman who runs the stand is very nice. She has a small stand in the back of a tiny food court/hall, more of a takeout spot. It might get a bit cramped during more popular times just because of the other food stands next to it.

If you're looking to go for brunch be advised that you should make a reservation ahead of time. I did a walk-in and had to sit at the bar. The bar isn't too bad. But if you're someone like me, (6'2 280lbs) it could be a little tight. At the bar, Dillon and Ricardo were amazing! They were very attentive as soon as I sat down. I was handed the menu with a glass of water. After looking over the menu they took my order. I ordered the New Orleans coffee. Good drink. A little on the sweet side but had a lot of alcohol! To start I had the tater tots. Pretty basic but it had a good seasoning to you! Not just salt and pepper! For the main dishes we had the Southern fried chicken sliders. It was a nice sweet and spicy blend. Not too spicy, just the right amount of kick to you! Also we got the chicken and waffles. As soon as we gave the menu back to them, not even 10 minutes later the food was at our spots. Piping hot and fresh. Mind you, the place was packed! So I'm not mad at that! The chicken thighs were seasoned well and juicy! The only thing I didn't like, was the waffle was kind of soggy and thin. Not like a Belgium waffle that is thick and crispy. But still, not bad. I would recommend trying them out but make reservations for a table.

Not sure the of the part of the city it's in maybe Beacon Hill as I'm a New Yorker ! The restaurant was cozy in a lower space of a brownstone building . We ordered tapas and had everything (almost !) on the Tapas menu . They did have full entrees but we were full off the Tapas . There were 4 of us and there was plenty of food . The Louisiana Crawfish Arancini , cast iron baked Brie with homemade potato chips , broccoli , Cajun catfish bites ( which has the most amazing sauce !!), Tuna Tartare and the steak tips were amazing!! The table next to us had the Buttermilk fried chicken which I wanted but after all the tapas we were done ! Dessert was the Beignets that were delish !! I honestly don't remember what we drank because the food was so good ! I'd go back if I'm in Boston . Pack your patience looking for a park because it's like Brooklyn trying to find spots . Started with the charcuterie board, and that first combo of cheese + jam + warm bread - one of those ratatouille moments. Simple, but exactly right. Then the salad - a little sweetness from the pecans, and somehow going back and forth between that and the charcuterie felt like the right strategy. Service was super solid and attentive without hovering, always around when you needed something. Ordered a Kronenbourg 1664 mid-meal - crisp, slightly sweet, easy to keep sipping. Then the seared salmon came out, topped with shrimp. More seafood with my seafood? Absolutely. Left completely full, finishing off the extra jam as a low-effort dessert. Could've ordered something sweet, but sometimes it's better to switch locations and convince yourself you're being active on the way to the next spot. indoor = warm and cozy outside = sun and dogs

Boston's Back Bay already does a solid Paris impression--Café Sauvage just completes the picture. This place feels every bit like a proper Parisian bistro, and thankfully the food backs it up. The Sauvage Burger absolutely hits the spot. Juicy, well-seasoned, no unnecessary nonsense--and yes, every burger on earth deserves the aioli treatment. This one gets it right. And the fries... let's talk about them. Golden, crisp, perfectly salted. Possibly the best fries I've had in Boston, and that's not a statement I throw around lightly. Atmosphere, execution, flavor--Café Sauvage is a gem. The kind of place you stumble into once and then quietly start recommending to people you trust.
