We enjoyed the pork skewers, deliciously flavored, moist and yet grilled with a nice crustiness. What a neat place. It is a bar and a restaurant with good food and beer. Many things on tap but I came for lunch so just had the food and a sample of a dark beer. Their Corner 99 wings are the bomb as well as Skewers. We got the Skewer Flight with beef, pork and chicken. All were very tasty. The spring rolls were also very fresh. I decided to leave out the meatballs. The bowl is pretty big and definitely generous with the noodles. The broth itself wasn't too hot for my liking. Their prices are a little high compared to other spots. I also tried their pork potstickers. Definitely was a 10/10. It's a cute little joint and the atmosphere is a chill vibe. Now, onto the food. I got the weekly special Com Thit Nuong or in english, Char Grilled Pork with Rice. I never get the egg add-on cause I could make one at home for less than a $1 but if you're dining in and you want one, go for it. Meat is thinly sliced, veggies weren't pickled which is traditionally pickled carrots and daikon and cucumbers. Meat doesn't have usual charring and yet you taste it. We called in to order take out here. We ordered the family special of four entrees for $38. We ordered the shaking beef (bo luc lac), shaking tofu, stir fried noodles with beef, and combination fried rice. Both shaking dishes came with your choice of fried rice or steamed. So glad we choose fried. Their fried rice dishes were delicious!! The best we've had in a long, long while. The other dishes were really good, too, but the crispyness of the tofu couldn't last by the time we arrived home (our fault for living so far away). I would order again but maybe eat it in the car so that we don't miss out on the yummy, crispy tofu. The portions are very big and we had plenty left over to eat for dinner.
