Croissant and sliced sandwich bread.

"I eat bread, therefore, I am." - Anthony Bourdain It's #ThankYouThursday and this review goes out to Copper State Bread. Having been avoiding refined cornstarch and flour, but still wanting a grilled cheese with some homemade tomato soup since it has been so rainy, seeing this place in the plaza of Sprouts was a gift. One our first visit, we got two Sycamore Buttermilk Biscuit Sandwiches ($12 ea), Hatch Green Chile Ham And Cheese Croissant ($7), and a sandwich classic loaf ($9). Let me tell you, that first bite of the Sycamore was amazing. Flaky biscuit, melty cheese, and the kind of breakfast that sticks to your ribs. As for the Hatch Green Chile Ham & Cheese Croissant, it was flaky and flavorful. No oils used except in mayo, no GMO, vegan (exceptfor green chile & cheddar), and all sourdough. They are open Wednesday through Friday from 7am - 4 pm and Saturdays from 7 am - 1 pm.

Shout out to Copper State bread. This bakery is just as delicious as the others in the valley. They are sourdough based. We tried cookies, bagels, bread. All delicious. Highly recommend checking out.

I just recently heard about this local bakery and decided to stop in after work. I picked up a few items around 6pm, and they were closing at 7pm. The chocolate chip cookie smelled good, but it was way too salty. This cookie has potential but needs less salt. It was also thick but not chewy, and I prefer chewy cookies. The round biscuit was not like a usual thick, crumbly biscuit, but rather soft. Flavor was pretty good, and I think it'd pair well with honey. I cut into the sourdough loaf, and it was perfectly cooked inside. I toasted a slice and enjoyed it with some creamy French butter. I saved the croissant to enjoy with breakfast the next morning. The top of the croissant got a bit hard overnight, but the inside was soft, buttery, and delicious. I imagine it'd be even better if eaten fresh the morning it was baked. Overall, I'd give this 4 stars and would come back for the sourdough loaf.

The food was good. I sat outside and ate my lunch. In addition to having lunch, I ordered a sourdough loaf to go.

Great quality home made sourdough bread! The croissants are so good- they have green chile ham and cheese, ham and cheese, chocolate, regular. They also have olive and rosemary bread. The lattes are amazing as well. Try this place, you won't be disappointed!

Bagels are tasty, but smaller in size and more expensive than average. Very small store and sparse on variety. Probably will not return.

The place was packed, and it was so heartwarming to see so many regulars greeting each other--it instantly gave the shop such a welcoming, community feel. I noticed they've been around since 1993, which is honestly so special to see. The woman at the front even joked that we're not as old as the coffee shop The menu is simple, with some really good specials. I ordered the Russian Twist latte, and wow... it was so good. I could honestly drink it every single day. The coffee was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable, the ambiance is cozy, and it's the kind of place where you can work, relax, or just sit and enjoy the vibe. The little fountain outside adds such a lovely touch too. This is definitely going to be my go-to spot whenever I have an appointment in the area.

This will likely deter me returning to this location in the later afternoon/evening, but I imagine parking is easier in the morning. Upon entering, I noticed lots of cozy seating and work stations as those are the most used reasons to visit a coffee shop. My boyfriend was nestled in a couch like seating with a coffee table. Definitely perfect for him waiting for me to pick him up when I finished work. He remarked about the records on the wall, and lots of the decor as it was a cutesy coffee shop. For my coffee beverage, I ordered a flat white as it's a good indicator of a decent coffee shop. Happy to report they passed the raw sugar test (put raw sugar on top and quality foam should hold up the sugar). They have great espresso and use one of the best espresso machines I've seen at coffee shops (La Marzocco). Loved the flavor and the foam was divine! Definitely return here for the coffee alone as it's worth braving the parking lot.

It was delightful and distinct with the date syrup and rose water. Next time I would choose almond milk because the oatmilk (+1. ) overpowered the delicate rose notes. To my surprise, gluten free food options were available at this non chain business. A chocolate chip almond cookie, peppermint bark cheesecake and an almond cake all tempted me. I went with the almond cake and enjoyed the fresh, moist, sweet treat that was topped with toasted slivered almonds. Winner. Even though I think the tab was a tad high for a morning coffee break ($16.36) I would return. I enjoyed my time here while observing the local patrons interact neighborly with each other. The homey community vibe oozed throughout this cafe which Starbucks doesn't provide. A charming cafe that seats 35 patrons inside and approximately 18 people outside. Stop on by.
