We went for dinner last night to celebrate my daughter's birthday - her choice of restaurants. The server was great - very attentive and nice about discounting or crediting items we did not enjoy. Unfortunately those things were my dinner - pasta bolognese and my second daughter's drink - Mary Pickford. The smutty fries - appetizer- was good. Both my boyfriend and I ended up with stomach aches after dinner unfortunately. We will not be going back. (We had tried this when it was Wine Down and didn't enjoy it then either.) read more

Food was very good-we had burger and fish tacos. They made me a lemon/basil martini that was very good! Husband tried several small pours of wine. Nice atmosphere inside, next to minor league ballpark, and several hotels. Glad we stopped by read more

Amazing service on what will most likely be one of their busiest days of the year! Our waiter was helpful and very energetic. Even on a vary busy day we didn't feel rushed to get out of there. Food was wonderful as always and loved trying some new wines. Thanks Wine Down for always having impeccable service. read more

Made reservations before Mannheim Steamroller concert at The Embassy last weekend. The location and food was great - I had the pan roasted chicken breast and my wife had the filet mignon. Both were prepared to perfection. The atmosphere was very inviting and the staff very friendly and helpful with selections. We finished by splitting the chocolate torte. Next time I think we may each order our own! HIGHLY recommend! We will be back! read more

Loved the atmosphere, although our table right next to the smoker door got a tad chilly on occasion . Menu was varied and our options from the tapas selections were fantastic. Service was friendly and helpful without being hovering. Wine pours were a bit in the small side. Overall we will certainly be back! read more

Rebranding from Wine Down was a great idea. New chef with incredible food, and great cocktails as always. Parking lot behind King Gyros typically free in the evening and right across the street. read more

Amazing place. Great people, wonderful atmosphere, and the food is always delicious. You cant go without ordering a drink from the bartenders, they are super tasty. read more

Wonderful people, best place in town for a cocktail, and now my favorite place for late night food on the weekends. (Plus their normal menu is dope too. Get the carbonara.) read more

We don't come here near enough! Love the wine and food! Thank you for a fun, different and delicious option in downtown Fort Wayne! We loved the Sidecar last summer, and will be back soon! read more

Wine Down is a unique gem to downtown Fort Wayne! They have multiple self-serve wine machines that allow you to try as many varietals as possible! I have dined at Wine Down multiple times and even after having fun with the wine machines, I always go back to their cocktail menu. As a fan of ginger, I love a good mule. They also have a bourbon version! Who wouldn't love that?! Their cocktails are all original recipes. They make all of their syrups, no artificial ingredients. When it comes to food, Wine Down's staple is tapas styled plates (small, shareable portions). However, they also have large plates for more of a dinner feel. I love the bison meatballs, asparagus spears, and the pulled pork wontons. The avocado she'll salad is also the perfect portion for one person. So refreshing! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. Perfect for date night or girls night out. The bar area is spacious and there is also an outside patio used for seating in the late spring, summer, and early fall. read more

The charcuterie platter was excellent, but just about everything else we ordered off the menu was mediocre at best. It's a real bummer because the atmosphere is great. Also the wine choices are predictable, boring, and not rotated frequently enough. read more

We went on a Wednesday night, and we were able to be seated immediately. Our waiter was one of the bartenders, and he was very knowledgeable regarding their wines and mixed drinks. In fact he was one of the originals who helped put the drink recipes together. I asked him to put together a wine flight for me. After asking me several questions, he came back with a flight that was spot on. He had pulled samples from different price points, so it was fun to try wines that would usually not be in my price range. The Old World board was good, with plenty to share. It had pate, olive tamponade, assorted meats and cheeses, and was served with a broken up flatbread and crostinis. We also sampled a cocktail, and the Smoked Old Fashioned is a must. The glass is filled with smoke before your cocktail is made, and it really adds to the drink. Service was good, but fell off a bit as it got closer to closing time. All in all, a pretty good experience. We will definitely be back. read more

loved it! the decor was amazing. the food, wine and service were excellent. it was a perfect place for our anniversary dinner..

Great time at wine down. Excellent place to hold yelp's event. The service was excellent the food was amazing. We enjoyed great drinks and tapas. Met some new friends. Looking forward to returning for a romantic evening. read more

Took clients of mine to Wine Down this evening. Wine Down has a great atmosphere, great food, and great drinks. My clients were already talking about coming back the next time they are in town. Menu has plenty to chose from for starters, small plates, and large plates. Wide variety of drink options from wine, cocktails, spirits, and beer. Looking forward to going back in the spring / summer to sit outside. Great addition for downtown Ft. Wayne, IN. Service was very good. read more

This last Saturday was my first time at Wine Down and all I can say is what an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the presentation of the food was very elegant, and the management and staff were very kind and helpful! Great view of Parkview field and a extremely relaxing environment. I would recommend this place anyone. Looking for a relaxing evening, this is the place to go! Looking forward to going back! read more

A must if you go to Fort Wayne. Off the hook food and great selection of wines. Great atmosphere too. Owner is a great guy

Great concept, location, staff, food, drinks, and atmosphere. Nice addition to the Fort Wayne area.

Been waiting to try this place with the wife. We were not disappointed. Waitress was knowledgable and engaging. Think her name was Autumn, it's been a couple weeks since our visit. We normally drink wine but went with her recommendations on a couple of special drinks and were not disappointed. Shared three different tapas, caprese skewers, fish tacos and asparagus. All were excellent. Wife ordered a Napa Cabernet of the servers choice after dinner and was not disappointed with the Glass of Atalon that arrived. Only reason we are not 5 starring was the price. Not used to paying so much, but also not used to such a level of product in the fort. We can get used to that and Will return. read more

Never been downtown Fort Wayne before and came here! Great experience, my boyfriend and I had Jerry William as our server for a quick drink and a few tapas. It was such a great time! He was fun, entertaining and the food was amazing. The wine is great and they have a ton of cocktails to choose from. The crab shrimp tapa is the best!! read more

We never got to try the food that we were specifically there to eat. This 'establishment' was unable to honor a promotion they were participating in. This would have led to our meal being off of the much higher menu and this smacked of a bait and switch type of management style. I do wonder if they had offered reservations before 9 pm, whether we would have been able to participate in the promotion. As I have numerous allergies, I put much research and planning into every meal eaten outside the house. It's particularly sad then, that an overpriced restaurant was less prepared than a potential patron. The extremely unfortunate part for them is that my wedding venue was going to be close to this restaurant, and the Copper Spoon will not be considered for any of my wedding related activities. My fiance and I will no longer consider this establishment as a fine dining option, nor will we consider it for any special occasion going forward. read more

Great place for a drink (& dessert)! We went Halloween night and the staff was totally decked out, which made the atmosphere more fun. The bartender gave great recommendations based on our preferred liquors and the drinks lived up to the descriptions. Wish we had had more time to try more on the menu. read more

This is my favorite place in Ft. Wayne!! Excellent food and cocktails! Check this place out. You won't regret it!

I had friends in from Chicago and we wanted to pick a nice spot to have Cocktails and Dinner. I had taken them to Club Soda last year and they loved it so I needed to keep the bar high in impressing them in Fort Wayne. the Wine Down did not disappoint. We ordered from the Tapas Menu and everything was fantastic. We had the purple heart wine along with many of the specialty cocktails. I would highly recommend for anyone to stop and try this place. I am anxious to come back in the summer time when the patio area is open. The space at the table as well as the nice leather chairs made for a nice comfortable evening. We even stayed past closing and no one made us feel like we needed to leave. A big Thank you to Gary, Jerry and Tyler, who all waiting on us and made us feel at home! read more

We made reservations for two at 5 PM on a Friday. The service was great the wine was phenomenal the Pulled pork taco and the fillet over horseradish mashed potatoes were out of this world. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The ambience was unbelievable as well. read more

Went on a Thursday night to avoid the crowds. Restaurant only open two weeks so we expected some glitches. First the good: food was excellent, the bison burger was to die for. Tapas means small and these portions ARE small. Now the bad: the wine station(s) were all together so if the restaurant gets crowded, it will be hard to maneuver. They really need a second set of stations on the second floor. Also the wait staff had a fancy new wireless order taking system which is all well and good because the order could go to the kitchen before the waiter was even finished with the whole table. BUT the waiter was unfamiliar or the wireless connection was bad because some of the orders were missed and getting a correct check was impossible. The waiter didn't know who had what at the end of the meal (we had to tell him) then we were double charged on some items. We couldn't even go over the bill because the waiter had to run to a printer on the first floor everytime he corrected it. It was ridiculous. read more

What an amazing experience. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The service was impeccable. The decor, elegant and cozy. The bartenders had great suggestions when I was trying to chose from their huge selection of cocktail creations. I met the owners and I must say it was so refreshing to see them so engaged with their staff and to hear the staff speak so highly about their boss. The location is perfect and although the outdoor dining wasn't open yet, it looked incredible. Huge patio, trendy lighting and just a beautiful atmosphere. Big shout out to my favorite bartender Jordyn! read more

The reason I gave one star is because the drink I got was good, and the bartender seemed to really care about making a drink right. Unfortunately, everything else about my experience was negative. Very very slow service. Everyone in our group of four got their food separately. I was done eating before anyone else got their food, and we all ordered tapas. Our server never apologized, the manager did but didn't have any explanation of why the service was so bad. He also didn't offer to do anything to make it right. We were very disappointed. The crab stuffed deviled eggs were small and had not much crab. The papas fritas were overcooked. The pate was a very small amount and one of the baguettes had just a stem of the herb, no actual herb on it. The bison burger was the only non tapas item, and it was cooked correctly and looked good, but it took a very long time. I would go back for a drink, but never again for dinner. read more

Came here for dinner with a very large group and they weren't well equipped to handle it. The interior is well done and the lounge seating is awesome! Food and drinks were very good, although service was slow but with a big group that happens. Would definitely go back for date night. read more

I really enjoyed Wine Down. The atmosphere was probably the most notable. I loved the wine dispensary, the selection of wines, and the food! Definitely a place we will return to. read more

It was our first time here and the atmosphere was amazing. You feel like you're walking straight into a wine cellar. Our waitress was also very good. The major disappointment was the food. It did not match the atmosphere. Our pulled pork tacos were nothing but pork and onions and very bland. Our pita chips in our crap artichoke dip were stale. The only savior here was the self serve wine and our raspberry cheesecake. read more

Beautiful restaurant! Great concept of wine tasting independently. Our server said he didn't know anything about wine which took me really off guard. I ordered moscato, swear it was Chardonnay that I received. A mixed drink tasted purely like alcohol which could be a plus for some! Food was amazing! read more

Amazing ambience. Great tasting and unique food. Interesting wine solution. But the craft cocktails are to DIE FOR! Location is pretty cool too! read more

My wife and I were first rime diners at Wine Down at our experience was great. Our server Jerry was very helpful in guiding us through our Tapas and drink selections. The food was very good, with our only negative being the value for the portions you received. None the less, we will return soon. read more

I found it overpriced and gimmicky. So you get to pour your own wine at an average $10 for a whopping 3 ounce pour. And Tapas....we got alligator and got 4 little pieces of fried alligator for $19???? Not to mention they said you had to sit at the bar if you didn't have reservations but the majority of the tables sat empty the whole night. Better options in Fort Wayne such as Chops to enjoy a glass of wine and a Tapas at reasonable prices read more

Spent over $40 on 4 (2.5 ounce) pours of wine. Enough said.

First visit to Wine Down. Great atmosphere and even greater concept. Tapas were ok. French onion soup served in shallow bowl. There was little to no broth in the onion soup...just beef broth flavored onion petals. Pate was very tasty but was not served as described. Pate delicious but presentation horrible. Described as pate served with baguette and cornichons. Pate was served on a mediocre toasted baguette topped with cornichons! Such a poor presentation. Remember...we eat with our eyes!! The bison burger was good. However, described as served open face on a waffle with sweet potato fries and blue cheese cole slaw. When served the slaw was on the waffle (which made the waffle soggy) topped by the burger. Although tasty..,waffle needed to be crisper and slaw served on the side as described in the menu. Sweet potato fries were awesome and will definitely give Wine Down another try. read more

I had been dying to try Wine Down and my husband and I decided it would be a great place to celebrate our Anniversary. The atmosphere was great, the food was tasty with lots of choices. Our server was awful, which was a real disappointment, the other servers around appeared to enjoy there job and were very knowledgeable. I ordered a flight and received 3 out of the 4 I ordered because the 4th wasn't in stock. Which was fine, but the server offered no other choice or even gave me an option to order something else. I would have like to try some additional wine but, never was I asked if I would like something else to drink or were we asked if we wanted dessert. We had to request after dinner drinks, which the drink I ordered they were not able to make but she did not tell us that until I asked, I then ordered the same thing my husband did and it took over 15 minutes to receive it. I am assuming that the gentleman that came out to apologize for the wait was the manager. When the serve finally did bring us our chocolate martini's they consisted of baileys and vodka, and she appeared very put out. Wine Down has a very extensive alcohol selection, but I was very surprised that they really didn't offer much in the way of after dinner drinks. I had previously discussed with some out of town family members of having dinner there, but I don't know if we will try it again or not. I know I would defiantly request a different server read more

This was our first time and you were recommended by a our neighbour at Wawasee. It was a fine dining experience without the hoopla.Excellent, my wife had the bourbon meatballs, my daughter the filet and I had the lamb lollipops. Everything was delicious, best we've had in a long time. The ambience perfect as was the decor, the place settings and the comfort of the booth. Our server was Michelle, very pleasant and knowledgeable a good representative of a fine restaurant. I might mention my wife and I have dined al over the world and I would say Wine Down was certainly onr of the best. Thank you for bringing this fine venue to Fort Wayne. Just one more thing, you had a long list of available gins but none I'd ever heard of. I drink either Sapphire or Tanqueray but I settled for Fords which was fine (it was the bartenders suggestion). Keep up the great work and we'll be back when we get back from Florida Peter D. Smith read more
