I checked out Yelp the other night for Air Conditioning places because my a/c wasn't getting cold, I found Cool Air Technologies under the 10 Best ones, and in my opinion, they are! Trish called me back to make an appointment and Mike (owner) came out the next day. He charged my a/c so now it is working great! We will be needing to replace it within a couple of years due to the fact they don't make the R22 refrigerant anymore, but when we do, we will be calling Mike to get one. Thanks again, I love small, honest business' read more

I found Cool Air Tech online thru yelp reviews, and contacted the company to repair my air conditioning. I left a message and I was called later that afternoon with an appointment time available, and Bill was there when he said he would be. He was fast and efficient even with a broken hand! He brought along a helper and stayed by his side instructing him what to do, and they even cleaned the filters for me! I will use this company again! read more

Bill and his crew came out and gave me a quote for new HVAC for our 1,400 sq. ft. condo. They came out and did a very thorough walkthrough and even went into the attic. I already had two other estimates and those guys just walked in my front door and throughout a ballpark number without out even going upstairs into my attic. Bill's quote was very fair, he is honest and there was no pressure. After mulling it over for a few weeks we decided to hire Cool Air Technologies. They showed up on time, they completed the entire install of our new HVAC and new ductwork in 1 day. They were very clean and you didn't even know they were there. We would definitely recommend Bill and his crew. read more

One fabulously HOT day in So Cal, my air went out. That's always a good start to a story right? Ughhh! Talk about a total inconvenience. I had no idea what to even do. Fortunately I found Cool Air, they were very prompt to my call and most important they could be out to me soon enough. Price seemed fair and at the end of the day, I'll pay whatever to get my air back on. Friendly guy arrived, he was proper and didn't seem sketch. All in all I would absolutely recommend this business to others. read more

Great service and excellent communication. I think prices may be a bit high but I truly believe you get what you pay for. The owner was sick on the original day we were scheduled to meet but he called and we rescheduled. My furnace is old and I know it. It was recommended that I need a new furnace. I just got new roof and solar so at this time cant afford the furnace but when I do I will have Cool Air Tech as one of the companies giving me a bid. read more

I'm not normally a review writer, but I'm compelled to write this review because I received excellent service and had a great experience with my air conditioner "situation". We had used Bill before, many years ago in our 1st property. I remember him being nice, genuine and very personable guy. All the service he provided was great, and affordable too. The other day in our current home, the AC, went out.....my wife remembered Bill, called him up, and he was here the next day. Same nice guy, who you can just tell, has his clients best interest at heart. He diagnosed the issue, and fixed it. Very affordable! Not only that, he checked my whole system and informed me of how everything looked. After he left, I had a problem working the AC....he was concerned, and promptly came right back, and made it right. No additional charges. I would absolutely recommend Bill and his team . They are real people, who treat you like real people. read more

I waited to write this review knowing that things may seem OK for a while, but then the problems start. Not this time! It's been almost two years and I'm very glad to report nothing! Nothing to say other than things are running perfect! No upselling, no trash, no course language, nothing but great attitudes, friendly people, a great product and a great job! Well done, my friends. read more

When my air conditioner broke down I panicked. My wife and I don't handle being hot well, so we needed someone to get the job done right. I remembered a friend of mine who had recently gotten a full air conditioning system installed in his house so I gave him a call. He said it had been installed by Bill McIntosh, owner of Cool Air Technologies. He had been very happy with the service and price, and his system worked great. I immediately got on the phone and gave them a call. They were a pleasure to deal with on the phone and the great service continued when Bill showed up at my door. He was friendly and professional, and it seemed like he had our air conditioning blowing cool air again in no time. I was also VERY pleased with the price. For great, affordable service, I don't think you can do any better. I have recommended Bill to all my friends and family, and those who have needed him have been as happy as I was with the service they received. Thanks, Bill!!! read more

I called Bill (owner) office to set an appointment because my Heater thermostat isnt working. He came in an instant and replace my corroded thermostat and did my heater tune up. Few minutes later, I have a perfect working Heating/AC unit. They did a fantastic job, at a fair charge. Bill is honest and nice. Thank you Cool Air Tech! Can I reccommend this company? Most definitely!!! read more

I had a 20 year old furnace that wouldn't lite up, it tried, but couldn't do it. I tried everything I could think of, but I couldn't figure out if it was my thermostat or the furnace itself. Of course, the nights were freezing to our thin California blood, and it was a holiday weekend to boot. I finally relented and got on Yelp to find a heater dude who would fix my fickle furnace. I called two top rated companies, and both said they would be available next week at the earliest. What? I was cold now. I kept looking, this time searching for more local companies. I found Cool Air Technologies, liked their rating on Yelp (they are on the other rating site too) even though there was only a couple of reviews, and I gave them a call. They said they were in the area, and could drop by within the next hour. And guess what, they actually did! The cost was explained to me over the phone a couple of times, so I knew what I was getting into before I got into it. The owner of the company showed up, took one look at my furnace, had his workman reach in and pull out the defective part in a matter of moments, and promptly went out to the truck for the replacement part. Yes, It was actually on his truck! I know, I was shocked too. It was all over quicker then a New England Patriot's game, and almost as fun to watch. The price was more than fair, with same day service included for free. I liked to do business with this company, they say what they do and do what they say, don't know how I could ask for more. Definitely going to keep this sticker on my furnace and use it when I have to! Call them, you need what they offer. read more

I I would've given them five star for the work but little disappointed about the price I was told that for a complicated install it will be 275 but I end up spending $400 ! read more

Larry and Richard have installed 2 units for me in the past 18 months at my rental properties. They are extremely knowledgeable technicians, very respectful, careful with their workmanship, and pleasant to talk to. Bill, the owner, met with me and gave me the initial quote. He arrived on time, gave me his recommendations, and told me what to expect. His prices were not the cheapest; they were fair. I wasn't looking for Pennysaver prices because I didn't want Pennysaver quality or service. Cool Air's products, service, knowledge was worth every penny. You will not go wrong with this company. They respond quickly, are competitive, and know the business thoroughly. Highly recommend Bill and his team to anyone. read more

I've worked with Bill before and he always gives a good, honest fair assessment and of the issues. Unfortunately, this time he was not able to repair/replace the unit as it was not something he worked on. But he was on time and took a look at the other bids we had and took the time to help me understand the repairs necessary. read more

Fixed our old a/c until it couldn't be fixed. Installed new unit. Workers very professional and careful of our home and yard. Got the job done in a timely manner. Highly recommend. read more

Recently had an issue with my furnace not firing up after having the summer off... Then we were freezing at night! Requested a quote through Yelp and got a response super quick that they would call me the next morning. We made an appointment for 4:30 later that day and Bill showed up at 4:30 on the button! He did a quick diagnosis and fixed it on the spot with parts he already had on him when he walked in. Super quick, super clean, he was in and out in a flash and now we can sleep in a warm house again. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Thanks Bill! read more

GREAT COMPANY. I am giving them five stars because I can't give them six stars. From Bill, the owner, to Larry and Jorge the technicians, I can't say enough great things about the company. Excellent technical service, prompt customer service, and fair pricing. Cool Air is one of the few companies I would recommend without reservation. read more

Cool Air Tech is the best! Bill's been my go to heating guy for over 10 years. I first contacted him years ago when the heater in my newly bought condo quit working in January. Bill is great at letting you know when he can come and how he can fix the problem. A new heater and then a few years later a new air conditioner... I'm still sold on this company and I've referred him to my friends. Everybody's still happy! I just needed to call for a little maintenance today... Same friendly service and it's nice and toasty inside. Thanks Bill! read more

Bill and Cool Air Technologies are great. I called and made an appointment with them to service my nearly 20 year old A/C unit at home. The unit was still working, just not very efficiently. I'll be honest, I've never had the unit serviced since the day I moved into the house so that's my bad and I was expecting the worst. Bill himself arrived and immediately went to work. He was efficient, thorough and after his initial evaluation, gave me options and approximate pricing for each. There was no pressure, just an honest, frank discussion regarding the expectations of an old unit. After discussing the options with Bill, he proceeded without hesitation or question and got the unit operating as well as it's probably ever been. I know I'm living on borrowed time with this unit and when the time comes, I'll be calling Cool Air Technologies for further help. read more

Bill and his partner came out to service/unclog our a/c line. This was the only company to answer my call and get back to me within in an hour on a hot day. They did a fantastic job and are very knowledge. They were honest and fair. I would highly recommend. read more

Cool Air Technologies is amazing! During the recent heat wave, I called 6 different companies looking for A/C repair, and Cool Air Technologies was the only company to call me back. They were out to fix the A/C in no time. Bill is awesome! Not only did he fix our problem, but he explained all he did and what we need to do to maintain our system. I highly recommend Cool Air Technologies!! read more

Bill and his team did an excellent job servicing our AC system, and identified a few problem areas. Prices were reasonable, and they were on time, courteous, and informative. Would definitely recommend to our neighbors and friends. read more

This company is great. We had all our asbestos ducting removed and they installed new ducting throughout the house. They were not the cheapest, but not the most expensive quote either. They also fixed our dryer vent that was disconnected for no charge. You get what you pay for and this company does quality work. It has been about a year and our A/C system is still working great. read more

If you're looking for a friendly, fair, and professional air conditioning repair this is the place. I called on a Friday morning (on hot day) hoping for a repair that day. Of course, because of their reputation they were booked all day. So I asked if they could call if they had cancellations that day. To my surprise, they did call. Bill came out minutes thereafter and repaired my air conditioning at a surprisingly low price. These people are the best to work with. They are honest, reliable, and sincere. Should I have AC needs in the future I will not hesitate to call them. I give them my unqualified highest recommendation. read more

I am a big person when it comes to looking on yelp and it did not let me down Bill was our service tech, he worked with my husband and I and we greatly appreciate his honesty and getting the job done swiftly and no painful charges! Highly recommend these folks..My AC recently stopped pumping cold air and found them online. Bill and Larry came out and they provided and accurate estimate and resolved the issue within 30 minutes. The compressor had gone out and they provided a replacement and general recommendations on how to have my AC running at an optimal level. The price they charged for parts/service was extremely competitive and they are extremely honest folks. Bill is the owner and the place is still family run and operated. If I am ever in the need of AC/Heater service, Cool Air will be the folks I call. read more

Bill and his team are fantastic. Highly responsive, professional, and competitively priced. My family and I have used CAT for years.

Just had my furnace/AC and entire house air duct replaced! Bill and his team was GREAT! Very knowledgeable, courteous and the price was VERY fair! Years back, I had issues with my furnace, the air was blowing very weak, had one company came by and look at it, the tech said my furnace was broke and had to be replace. Good thing I found Bill and had him came by (to get a second opinion), he simply change some setting on my furnace and instantly it was blowing harder, he said someone "tweak" the furnace to have the air blowing at lower level! From then on, I always had him service my unit because of his honesty! Anybody who needs service or replacement, I would definitely recommend Bill and his team! read more

Came to yelp to find a business for our heater, that has been having issues for a while. Call a couple of places, Cool Air Technologies was the first to call back. They had someone out the next day, was very reliable, knew just what the problem was. A part needed to be ordered, came back the next day. Made sure everything worked properly before leaving. Definitely would recommend them. read more

Outstanding service at a great price! I have been a customer of Bill McIntosh's since I bought my home here 10 years ago. I've always loved the service you get from "mom and pop" businesses, and with Bill you definitely get that. From the first time I met him I felt like a person whose problem mattered, not just a number to be rushed through. When it comes to AC and heating I'll never deal with anyone else. read more
