Our AC Unit was making a buzz during the Heatwave. We've searched through Yelp for HVAC companies with good reviews. The first company (which we do not want to disclose their name) did not go well; they said we needed to spend around $1K on this repair immediately, otherwise, the unit will not last this summer. So we've searched for another HVAC company for a second opinion. That how we've found Trinity Heating and AC, and we are grateful that we were able to find them. Jimmy came to our house and inspected/repaired the unit on the same day with 1/3 of the cost quoted from the first HVAC company. He clearly explained what was wrong with the unit and he was transparent with which replacement part was needed. No scare tactics, No forceful subsription, No BS. We also appreicate how the company provided (and forementions) about their military discount. I felt that I had to go with them from the first call based on how much respect the company held/exhibited toward military service during my first call. The owner was quick to reply to my questions regarding an AC tune-up. Setting up an appointment was easy and someone was able to come the next business day. On the day of the service, I believe the person who came out is named Jimmy, called and gave me an ETA. I always appreciate an ETA, because then I can plan out my day, and am not sitting at home wondering when they'll arrive. Jimmy came and wore shoe covers, which is a must in my house. Initially contacted Trinity for a Home Energy Audit and Jimmy was the person who did the audit. Went through the unit, did a nice job identifying issues, and as we talked, we decided to upgrade our 20+ year old gas-powered forced air furnace to a heat pump unit. Installation was quickly scheduled, they sent four people to remove the old system, install the new heat pump, run the electrical conduit, and by evening, we had cool air. These folks are absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a fair and honest HVAC company then you don't have to look any further. I called during peak season to get my AC unit looked at and they squeezed me in the same day!! The service engineer got up to the rooftop and popped open the unit and found the simple issue (a piece that triggered the AC fan on/off was stuck). Popped out back in and tested the unit a few times to make did it worked and put the cover back on. Didn't charge me a dime other than the service call fee.
