So our AC/heating has been challenging us for some time now and we finally decided to get it checked out...we looked on yelp and found Aced It. Read the reviews of all others and figured we'd give them an opportunity to help us figure out what was happening and what the course of action would be. We made a phone call and had an appointment scheduled the next day at 11am. Our technician, Marcus, showed up early and got right to it. We live in a condo with some tight spaces and our unit, we knew already, was outdated and going to require an extensive diagnosis. Marcus was very professional, extremely thorough and made sure he covered all basis considering our circumstance. After diagnosing and checking with his team it was determined that our unit would need to be replaced. The refreshing part of this was that there wasn't an upsell or attempt to pressure us into a huge financial decision, but rather a professional assessment with about 3 options and recommendations with those options on what we'd be looking at in the event of our decision. We don't feel that the quotes were outrageous, but did realize that it would be a big job and time consuming nonetheless. Not once did he make us feel as though we had no reasonable options, but rather we were comforted to know that whatever decision we made was going to with a technician and company that knew what they were talking about, they knew how to tackle each option with efficient and reliable service and guaranteed work! Not once did we feel as though we questioned anything he said and he walked us through everything we needed to know so we could make a confident decision based off his experience and recommendations! From start to finish my wife and I felt that providing the best service through product knowledge and service knowledge kept us interested and comfortable with what we were being told. I was drawn to inquire more into this company for services needed based on the reviews that claimed them to be "Honest, Experienced and Helpful", these were the qualities my situation demanded. I purchased a home and was told by the seller that the HVAC system was working but the inspection report had a different story, the system would not turn on. There was a newer Condenser in the garage but i had no clue if it was working or not, perhaps the previous owner was about to replace it?. Caleb responded to my inquiry right away through Yelp and we scheduled an appointment for the same week. He showed up timely and with a great attitude. We got along wonderfully. I explained my situation and he went to work fast testing many areas of the system using his inspection methods. He attempted to turn on the system bypassing the thermostat and there in front of me the Furnace made a huge terrible noise. The system was truly broken beyond repair. He suggested a new furnace which was understandable but the best part was his willingness to try and connect the Condenser that was in the garage so that he can try and save me money. He earned my trust right away because very few companies want to attempt to fix things its always replace, replace and replace, and some of us don't have the money due to circumstances. The day of the install he showed up with a partner and immediately got to work. Demolished the old furnace and cleaned up after themselves. The newly installed furnace looks amazing just see for yourself. He made some suggestions to move the condenser to the side of the house from its previous location in the back and I thought that was a brilliant idea! He just opened up and created some usable space for entertaining back there. He installed the Condenser that was in the garage and went the extra mile by adding new motor parts that go on the outside in a closed compartment. He hit the switch and it turned on!!! We were all very happy that the condenser worked! They were genuinely happy to save me money given the situation I was in. The entire system works beautifully! It is quiet, powerful and reasonably priced! There were things that they included with the awesome price. For example some duct work needed to be changed. I have a new Nest thermostat. Warranty! Flushed my Water Heater and most importantly taught me a great deal about how the system works, air flow and what not to do to avoid damages and keep it running efficiently. It's a long review but I am happy to take the time to write this because they did not take advantage of my situation instead they helped me and my family. There is hope! Honest and hard working companies do exist! Give them a call and experience the joy of a smooth transaction with no hidden prices or bait and switch tactics.
