She stated that Anthony would come out the very next morning and see all options available. The very next morning, Anthony had completed a thorough and detailed estimate with pictures attached. The pricing was a lot lower than I even imagined, especially after dealing with another AC service provider (which I will never do business with again after the great service and pricing from Anthony and the crew). Was scheduled to have work start by 9/1 but received a call from Anthony advising that his crew would be out a day sooner to help with the heatwave. A new AC unit and furnace were installed along with everything that goes with it. They even did some drywall work! Anthony and the crew at Diamond Air are our go to ac and furnace providers. I found AWC HVAC services on Yelp on an early Sunday morning and notified them of the issue. Within a few hours, I was met with Joe who immediately recognized the problem (dual run capacitor) along with a few maintenance issues. Being that my unit is old, other vendors in the past , have immediately tried to pressure me to replace the whole unit. Joe on the other hand acknowledged it was old but that it could be fixed. To replace the dual capacitor and give the unit a nice tune up it was only $525. He broke apart the unit and conducted much needed maintenance. Joe did an outstanding job and his work ethic and character, speaks volume of the services provided. I will be referring this business to everyone.

The repair technician Angel Perez was just that, an absolute angel. He was unbelievably kind and knowledgeable. After meeting with him and hearing him speak to other members of the company over the phone, I knew this was a special company. The employees spoke to each other like family. Once I submitted my signed contact online, Angel thanked me for choosing them and welcomed me to the family. Contract provides excellent warranty on parts and labor. Unit included install of ecobee smart thermostat, which I am in love with! Not sure how I got by all this time without one. By far the best quoted price out of the four I received. On the day of installation I received a text update with a photo and name of the lead installation technician Jon Neves. He and his team arrived right now time and finished the work exactly at their provided estimated completion time. The team placed a mat by the front door entrance to my house, which was a very nice touch, covered carpeted areas where they would be walking. After the job was complete they vacuumed their work space and it was like they weren't even in the house. The group of guys working in the installation took great care in everything they did. My installation required a crane to get the unit on top of my house and The Purple Crane was in and out quickly. The crane didn't disrupt my neighbors or even the trash service that morning. The crane was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend Steve's 5 Star Service. They offer a service membership for less than $20 a month to handle HVAC tune ups, water heater flushes, and any service needs. You read that correctly, they also do plumbing! They will now be my go to for any plumbing needs. I'm due for a new water heater and I will be contacting them in the near future to handle my replacement. Steve's 5 Star Service took such great care of my baby girl and I during the heat. They were urgent to get us some reprieve from the heat and cool air into our home again. I'd purchased a replacement for another house years ago so just needed it installed. $398 for install only. Job took less than an hour. I did it because I didn't have a lot of time to get it done. I called around and could have gotten it done for 1/2 that. Lesson learned... I can't say I won't use them again but it would have to be for an emergency only, as they are super responsive.
