We had water leaking from our HVAC located in our garage when using the AC, enough water to run down the length of the garage. I submitted a request for an estimate online and promptly received a reply from Peter. We also spoke on the phone, he gave a fixed estimate for blowing out the HVAC drain and explained clearly as well what the possible causes were. He was knowledgeable about my HVAC, asked more questions to assess the problem, and clearly explained his approach how to eliminate the possible causes. We checked the air filter, discussed air flow in the house, and the he blew out the AC drain pipe. After hearing a big pop and whoosh of water at the end of the pipe, problem solved! I was having an issue with my AC unit, the fan had stopped spinning. Peter came out to take a look and he was polite, friendly and was able to explore problem very clearly. He resolved the fan issue but he noticed a noise coming from the compressor. He was honest with me about the noise and he said that it will eventually go out abd the whole unit will need to be replaced. He wasn't saying this to try to upsell me or to try to get me to replace it now. He basically said nobody knows how long it will last, it could be days or years. I had an emergency AC repair that needed to be fixed ASAP. Water was leaking from our ceiling and causing the paint to bubble up I had contacted 2 other places initially and left messages, but no follow up or call back was done, so after waiting 30 mins I found this place on Yelp. I gave them a call and Peter responded immediately. However the earliest appointment was the following day which we scheduled for. About an hour later he called back and said his Father and Brother would be able to come within the next hour! Yay!!! They showed up and exceeded my expectations, extremely courteous, polite, took their shoes off and only had them on when they went up in the attic! Our AC wasn't pushing out cold air, so I called a few other AC companies before calling I GO Heating & AC, and none of them picked up. Then I called I GO Heating & AC hoping that they would be able to fix my AC asap, since California has been in a heat wave, and they were able to schedule an appointment the next morning! Life savers! He let us know that he may arrive earlier to our home since he wasn't sure what time he would be finished with another job. He called us (but my phone was dead) and then started to figure out our problem right away. He was able to resolve the problem & explained everything thoroughly. We asked some other questions about the AC vents & he explained that as well. It only took an hour! The price was 80 dollars for the visit, and it's credited to whatever else is needed to fix the problem. Our bill ended up being 120, which was a relief as I was worried that it would be a bigger issue with the compressor (which would've been like 600+ dollars) I'll definitely recommend I GO Heating & AC to everyone in their service area, and will call them again for future AC issues. read more

I spoke with Peter about setting up a time to come and diagnose my ac problems and he was incredibly thoughtful and quick about getting me booked. Peter patiently explained every aspect of the invoice and walked us through the whole process. They had to install a furnace, condenser unit, and evaporator coil, explaining everything in detail before and after installation. Installation only took a few hours. Our 17 year old A/C system started making weird noises so I search on Yelp for a reliable AC company to help fix the issue. Sadly all the ones that had reputable reviews were all booked out till July (I contacted at the last week of June). This company was the last one with really good review so I was hoping they had more availability and they did! It was the hottest week, so I needed someone to come out ASAP. I scheduled for an appointment next day (Monday) with Peter. Peter was great at confirming the appt time and letting me know beforehand when he was on the way. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had the part to fix it right there and then. He is very knowledgeable and really educates you about your system, which I really appreciated. He gave us an idea of how much life our system has since it is very old, but still running. He was very mindful when walking inside our home with shoes by using shoe covers. Last year our air conditioning condenser motor needed to be replaced. It was a hot weekend and I had to go with a company far far away. The technician arrived and replaced the motor and recommended I needed a 3 wires system, to prevent this from happening again. 1,800 hundred dollars later and just over a year our condenser motor failed again. I immediately called the company that previously replaced the motor but was unable to contact them. I was given an answering service and was never called back. I went to Yelp and saw recent and past reviews for I Go. Peter immediately answered the phone and told me he could check out my unit the same day. He arrived several hours later and performed several tests. The end result was that the condenser motor needed to be replaced again. The condenser motor the company put on last year was the wrong voltage. It wasn't even the right brand name. Peter replaced the motor and the unit purred like a kitten. It was so quiet and I couldn't believe the results. Peter said the correct voltage is imperative for your AC unit to work properly. Peter took the time to test and repair my unit. Peter was professional, courteous and most of all a quality you rarely see in the AC business, he was honest and gave an honest price for the repairs. If you need your AC serviced or replaced don't look anywhere else. Call this company. Please don't waste your time with those big companies that advertise and later shim sham you out of hard earn money.
